Tbh it wasn't good as I had hoped. The soup was just lentil soup nothing special. The bread was basic. The meat on the skewers I found a bit weird... it wasn't chunky it was small strips and bits... had bits of fat aswell... not all meat. Wasn't that filling as a result. Seating was a bit tight and being offered the mezzes at the start without clearly being told it was extra was a bit deceptive.. Was nice for the one off experience and trying something new. Service was quick and good.

One of the few really good Turkish meals in the Eminounu area. The service is quick, the salads are fresh and the atmosphere is great (basically street side). One kebab was cooked perfectly and the second was a little dry. A good meal but slightly expensive for what it is.

Cağ kebab is simply the best kebab. First time I had Cağ kebab in Erzurum and felt in love with it. But here in Istanbul, this restaurant Şehzade was not disappointed me 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Small place on the pedestrian but lovely atmosphere. You can smell the meat that grill to perfection. One of the more well known kebap restaurants in Istanbul it is situated in a busy alleyway and there are lots of people walking past. The food is simple and cheap. There isn’t much on the menu but this isn’t a bad thing at all. The lamb skewers are succulent, tasty and it melts in your mouth. It comes with a plate of onions and some flat bread. You can order salad with it, and there is 1 soup available as well. Also you can get a chilli paste. That’s about all there is on the menu. Food comes out quick. The toilet is below average.

Kebab on a stick! That is literally what we came to Istanbul to try after watching it on YouTube. I have to say it was the best meat I’ve had, so tender and full of flavour. The tortilla wrap was so thin, it complimented the meat. Will definitely be coming back to try this again before going back home. Service was really quick!

This is an absolute staple for a visit to Istanbul. Went twice for their cağ kebap and was never disappointed. The staff is attentive and polite despite how busy they are. Seating is outside in a high foot traffic alley and I think it just adds to the overall experience. The kebap meat is so juicy and seasoned perfectly. My fave way to eat it is with some onions and some of the spicy tomato sauce (ezme) on the kebap, all wrapped in the bread. Highly recommend.

Soooooo good that we went there twice. They specialize in kebabs so just get that. It may not be the cheapest but worth every lira. And service was really good too. The only regret is that we didn’t have the chance to go there again 🥹

Absolutely recommend it. Price is good so you can eat as much as you want. The lamb shawarma is incredibly tasty, the salad is fresh, delicious onions, the chilli sauce is delicious, the soup, the yogurt, desert and tea everything is 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I feel so happy when a food place doesn’t disappoint. The food was really good, price was too and I didn’t feel pressure to eat and leave. They are very busy and they don’t have time to entertain which is understandable, but if you are up to good food, then that’s the right place. Thank you 🙏

The very best. Small menu (horizontal kebab, vegetable salad, and a vegetable spicy sauce) but enough to have the tastiest meal. It is always our first option when coming to Istanbul.

HOLY SMOKES!!!! So simple, so so so delicious. Do NOT miss this place if you are in Istanbul. The meat is beautifully cooked to perfection. The juicy, flavourful, charred meat on skewers is devine on its own. Add in the onions, tomatoes, esme and bread you are experiencing a taste sensation. Absolutely loved the food and the ayran perfectly compliments and completes the meal! Service was on point and the vibes are good. My only regret was I only went there twice!!
