B&B HOTEL Avranches Baie du Mont Saint-Michel

Unfortunately, our stay at B&B HOTEL Avranches Baie du Mont Saint-Michel was far from restful. The biggest issue was the noise level — even with the windows fully closed, the sound of traffic was very noticeable and constant. This is particularly disappointing considering that other hotels, even those located closer to major highways, manage to insulate against noise much more effectively. The room itself was okay: clean and functional, but nothing more. If you’re just looking for a place to crash for the night and don’t have high expectations, it might do the job. However, comfort and extra touches are not part of the package here.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and overall had a good experience, especially for the price. Pros: - Excellent value for money - Extremely friendly and welcoming staff - Free parking with plenty of space - Smooth and easy check-in - Less than 30 mins from the Mont Saint Michel - Great area: lots of stores less than a 10 minute drive away (convenience stores and restaurants) Cons: - The mattress was a bit too firm, and no extra pillows were provided - Only a single 3-in-1 soap in the bathroom (no separate shampoo/conditioner) - The cleaning staff was quite loud outside our door at 9am on the first morning, which woke us up, but after mentioning it to reception, it didn’t happen again - We could hear our upstairs neighbors walking around quite clearly - Wi-Fi was inconsistent: we often got disconnected or had to wait for pages to load Despite a few small inconveniences, the friendly staff and overall value made it a pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short visit.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights during my Normandy Road trip - The hotel is very simple, yet it has everything you need - parking space, simple basic rooms are perfect for this kind of stay, coffee machine & snack machine, simple breakfast like at your home :) with everything and last but not least a very friendly receptionist Definitely worth the money

Tiny rooms - our bedsheet was also covered in small black “crumbs” which we would not identify . Breakfast was extremely functional - no cold meats whatsoever A very basic motel style accommodation with nothing immediately surrounding

Great value for what it is: a clean, comfortable bed and a hot shower (it can get VERY hot) in a decent location around 20 minutes by car from Mont St. Michel. Quite barebones but very much what it says on the tin. Check in/out was quick and the staff very professional. Doors open to the outside so it can get cold.

Definitely a low budget hotel. Good for just one night. However, I don’t recommend buying breakfast here. If you do, come early for breakfast or there won’t be eatable stuff left. Its really limited breakfast. Location is perfect on the other hand.

You get what you pay for = small simple room. Loved the 24/7 vending machine & breakfast buffet surprisingly good with great choice.

Always a warm welcome, great breakfast, clean and welcoming rooms... we love the b&bs! Just 2 minor things: extra duvets needed in this cold weather and the shower head had a leak! Very minor considering the quality of the rest!

Great, helpful and very friendly staff, very comfortable and clean room, very nice breakfast. Pet friendly hotel. Great stop on the long journey, we will definitely come back.

We had a great stay for 3 nights last week and I wanted to thank Olivia at the reception. She worked so hard day and night and was helpful. We paid £100 per night for a family of 4 including breakfast and it was great.

Location is nice with retail in walking distance, abundant parking, perfect for road trip to saint mont michel. However, please do not expect much in room condition and cleanliness. No kettle provided. Late night shift Staff for self check in was rude. But the daytime receptionist and other staff on site were nice.

We were greeted by a friendly staff member in the evening. She was very friendly and attentive, speaking good English, which is a big help when it comes to details. She was also there in the morning during breakfast to make sure we had what we needed.

For the money this was excellent. We had problems leaving the uk with our initial booking and they were very accommodating and remembered our previous problems when we arrived making us feel welcome.
