Movie Producers looking for a location for their next zombie picture should look here.. The concrete walls and external walkways would make an excellent backdrop for one of those futuristic movies where zombies stagger out of ruined concrete buildings. The videographers may have a difficult job filming inside scenes however as bedrooms are so small that the bathroom door is a bit of a squeeze around the bed and the loo on the other side but if they could film inside the bathroom it would be an ideal horror set (the loo and deep shower tray were superficially clean - don't look too closely like in the seals or the back of the loo but you don't touch them anyway).. OK - this may be a bit flippant - but this hotel does look a lot like the council built blocks of flats that sprung up in the 1970's - external walkways, slabs of concrete for walls and lots of concrete stairs connecting the various levels. I know the French hotel chain F1 used to build their hotels in this style - perhaps this is an ex F1? Having said that - it was cheap, the bedding was clean and the lady that checked us in was friendly. The car parking is around the building and the gate closes (unlocked with room code) at night. It is a bit out of the way in an industrial area and the neighbouring restaurant has a massive extractor fan that runs until late giving a background hum. Could be worse..

Get a room on the top floor, the children loved the mezzanine bedroom in the roof space. Nice location. Friendly wwecome from the receptionist, even after we booked in using the external automated system, she came up and asked if everything was okay. Asked our room number and gave directions then explained where breakfast would be served the next day. The young chap doing rooms said hello,in french of course, a nice gesture, and again we were asked if we were okay as we looked lost, explanation given and we were on our way to the room. Lovely wecome in the morning, a smile cost nothing and is so pleasant to receive, great breakfast, lots of choice, you help yourself, but ask and the receptionist will bring more items to replace any that are low. Will make a point of returning.

A very good value for money accommodation, it's more of a motel than a hotel. Rooms are small but bed was comfortable and breakfast approx £7 and you can have as much coffee and croissants as you want. Private Parking included

Arrived after midnight and used self check in with no problems. Had a quad room that was clean, comfy and quiet. Secure compound for parking was a bonus.

Disappointed that we had a double bed instead of twin beds as travelling with my teenage son and had specifically requested 2 twin beds at time of booking. Happy with accommodation otherwise. Online check-in with confirmation of our room number and access code via SMS before arrival was very useful.

Stayed as a night stop after late ferry arrival. Easy to find room and enter with the code sent. Room is small but clean and comfortable and bathroom provided all that is needed. Will make use of again in the same circumstances. Good value.

Overall good value for money with clean rooms and everything you need for a good night's sleep. Note- The out if hours check in only required the numbers from the booking. The breakfast was basic but satisfactory with all the basics from tea coffee to Orange and mixed fruit juice that the kids loved. Bread and pastry selection included the usual croissant and pain au chocolate and these were tasty and fresh... Enjoyable layover !!
