Cité des Climats et vins de Bourgogne

Tourist attraction

😠 Not really the best place to visit: far too expensive to visit a single room, and a presentation without logic or thread.

Courage ! 👏🏼

Visit took place one week after the grand opening. The tour was very well explained, although the headsets were a bit difficult to control. The tasting was a nice plus, but we expected some additional explanation from the obers at the bar… The bar and terrace were nice but could be beter utilised.

Magnifique. The staff are incredibly helpful, we arrived late due to getting lost and Samuel in reception organised another class for us. Alexandra the teacher was fabulous, we learnt so much. Merci beaucoup!

Great experience! Took one of the tasting workshops, which lasts about one hour. Learned about wine tasting in classroom type of setting. Expert goes through every detail on how to assess a wine. Offered in French and English. Beautiful new modern facilities, opened in June 2023. Highly recommended!

The bar on the 4th floor (THIS IS FREE, NO NEED TO PAY MUSEUM FEE) is truely superb. We shared a “plank” of local cheeses sprinkled with mustard cress together with a selection of gorgeous wines by the glass. Our lovely host, Yoko, was very knowledgeable about wines and even gave us a tour of the top floor terrace to watch the sunset from - magical, highly recommended.

A beautiful venue with a great way to learn about the area, grapes and wine of burgundy. Lots of different interactive exhibits. Our toddler was welcomed and able to run around and interact. My favourite was the exhibit where you could smell the different aromas found in the wine. Beautiful and updated daily, pretty impressive. The wine tasting at the end was a real bonus. There's a restaurant and bar that we didn't visit but looked lovely and a roof top terrace of the views of the vineyards. Lots of parking and helpful staff

Superb modern interactive experience, especially interesting for teenagers and younger ones. Very clean restrooms and large car park.

The media is in French with no subtitles, which is unfortunate. However there is plenty of English text to understand what's going on :)

Expensive but well worth a visit. A state of the art, multisensory audio and visual treat. Highly informative.
