Nice cosy restaurant hidden at the corner on a street at Beaune. The service staff speaks English. We ordered the lobster bisque and steamed clams for entrees and they were flavorful. The restaurant also uses a variety of peppers from all over the world as a variable to the taste. Our mains were a tuna takini and sardines. We could taste the freshness of the fish. The restaurant doesn’t have a dessert chef but they partnered up with a local celebrity dessert chef to craft customized desserts for them. We had the lemon tart and it was good! The restaurant also sells wines from the Beaune region.

I love Beaune and I love this restaurant. Vincent is very friendly and kind. Cyrill, the chef, is so so good and has a lot of knowledge. They both are so so good at wines and paring with food, too. Love this place. Excellent quality to value. Also, Ines is an outstanding boss. 😉😉

After 40 years of searching for reasonable fish restaurants in France, we stumbled upon the winner tonight! La Ligne in Beaune is a tiny gem. Chef and maître-D working seamlessly together to create the best fish dish I have ever tasted. Monkfish in butterfly popcorn batter, served with garlic-rich pasta shells and whole roasted peppers in a succulent, piquant tomato sauce. These guys even have a PEPPER MENU! The Madagascan black pepper had such a long, spicy aftertaste I had to buy 100 grams to enjoy at home. I am a pepperholic. This was a meal to travel across Europe for. Five stars doesn’t begin to describe this restaurant. Book, eat and enjoy x

La Ligne was an amazing & rare find for us today while we visited the beautiful town of Beaune. The owner was welcoming, extremely informative & explained all the wine regions of Bourgogne as we enjoyed a glass while waiting for our delicious & beautifully served lunch. Both Mark & I loved our fish & chips & Mark had a super starter & dessert as well. We recommend this little hidden gem to anyone visiting. You will be very happy you dined here. Lovely restaurant with HIGH QUALITY FISH! We just enjoyed our evening there, the staff is friendly and also speaks English if you need, the wine selection is big enough and the interior is modern :-)
