Built during 12th and 13th century, the Notre Dame is mainly a medieval Romanesque architecture, despite of its late additions. Located in the beautiful and historical town of Beaune, where is famous as the Capital of Burgundy wines, this Cathedral is well worth a visit.

Beautiful church, we attended when a wedding was taking place in a beautiful summer afternoon. It is a bit dark though, so I suggest more lighting inside.

Great building and unusual designed church front, take a walk along the side and back to see some extraordinary architecture and building. At the back you will see some great stain glass windows, just amazing building worth the walk around.

Beautiful Gothic church. Would like to attend mass here one day. But they do not have one in English at the moment. They carry 14th century tapestries but the exhibition isn’t open on the weekends.
