While staying in Beaune on our vacation, we searched for this exact pâtisserie due to hearing about a delicious pastry called Roseau du lac—or, “cat tail” as we would call it in the States. This “reed of the lake” pastry is an eclair wrapped in marzipan and then dusted with cocoa powder, a specialty of the house. Very rich and delicious! Searching for this pâtisserie in Beaune was worth it, especially since we discovered Pâtisserie Chocolaterie Thomas Bouvart made the most delicious croissants in all of Beaune!!! The croissants had the perfect amount of flakiness and butter—yum!

My daughter and I had café and pastries each morning and desserts at night during our 4 days in Beaune (our AirBNB was two doors down from your shop). The Tarte au Citron and Intensément chocolat are highly recommended! Also the Pain au Chocolat! You are wonderful hosts and went out of your way to be helpful to us. We would love to return to Beaune, and your pastries would be at the top of our must-do-again list! Thank you for making our stay in Beaune very special. Au revoir!

The best viennoiserie (croissant, pain au chocolat) you have ever eaten. Everything is made in house. The flavors are perfectly executed by the pastry chef. Their chocolates are delicious, and the quality prevails as you savor each bite. Enjoy.

Top two croissants in France thus far from Reims to Paris to Beaune. Very rich - crispy on the outside and airy & fluffy on the inside. Cappuccinos are on great as well. Very friendly and English speaking. Will come back, definitely recommend.

Wonderful pâtisserie in the heart of Beaune. My wife and I shared his signature Pina Colada and chocolate desserts. Both were fabulous. Great place to stop for coffee or tea and a dessert. Highly recommended.

We did not have the best experience. Lost our table outside due to the queuing system that we needed to order before sitting although someone else did opposite ( :/ ) thereafter staff was not really keen on helping us. Coffee was pot of coffee, not what you’d expect. Also a little over-buttered pastry.

I stopped by this little town of Beaune during my visit to France. I am happy to discover this cute pastry shop. I had frozen yaourt, Plaisir au lait, croissants and cookies I recommend. The pastries were delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. My next visit will definitely include more treats from their menu.

Not much on offer late morning on a cold winter Sunday. But excellent coffee and Croissants. Lovely waitress who very patiently helped me with my schoolboy French, when asked.
