Highly recommended (but only if you eat pork of course, le goret translates to piglet after all :) Most memorable dining experience in our three weeks in France - very personal approach, daily menu, big and fantastically delicious plates! No kids menu but they're happy to accommodate.

If you like pork, this is your place. This restaurant is eccentric and unique. The chef welcomes you dressed as a king and gives you a whole show while presenting the menu. I found it hilarious but my husband is a more simple guy so he found it a bit unnecessary. The food is abundant and savory. The wines are amazing and we were thankful for the advice. Please mind, everything is in French and nobody provided us with a translation or explanation because we didn’t understand 😅 but it was fun to choose blindly. Also mind, we ordered without seeing prices (as they aren’t shown anywhere) and at the end the bill was a bit on the steeper side, but we found it was worth it.

Amazing food, everything was delicious! The staff were very accommodating and tried to help us with the menu even though we didn't speak French. I recommend reserving ahead, and coming hungry.

The people were very friendly and the service was good but the food was awful and made me feel sick, it was very fattening and had little flavour as well as the only vegetables being a tiny bowl of salad which consisted of 3 leaves and tons of cream dressing. The portions were huge and I felt as though if I ate it all I would consume my whole days worth of calories. The other reviews were very misleading, I would not recommend this restaurant for a nice evening out.

U shud not miss this place when in Beaune.It was an absolute feast and the kindness of the owner rounded it up to one of the best nights we had in the bourgogne.merci beaucoup et un bonjour des luxembourgeois!

Everything was positive. Friendly staff, particularly the chef who made visiting the restaurant feel like visiting a friend. Food and drinks were very good, portion size is large which I appreciated very much. Work up your appetite before dining here

Excellent! I had a great meal here (pork cheeks in red wine sauce) and really enjoyed interacting with the staff. They are jovial, welcoming and a lot of fun. This is not a pretentious restaurant. This is a place that’s all about good food and good times.

Fun, convivial restaurant where locals go to eat and drink. Felt very welcomed. The pork with foie gras was excellent. One of the best places I’ve eaten in France.

3 months in Beaune, month 3. A pork lovers paradise. Great atmosphere - the owner/chef greets you in chain mail. Limited menu, great wine cellar where you can choose your own bottle.
