Probably one of our favourite meal during our trip! This cosy open kitchen restaurant definitely is worth booking for, the beef filet with the cognac sauce was just delicious I still dream about it!

Went for dinner on a Monday night when most of the other restaurants in town are closed. Everything was wonderful, including the wine suggestions. Just 2 people run the place with only about 7 tables. Great small menu prepared by the chef in an open kitchen. Just a perfect dinner to cap off a great day. Will return to the restaurant. Had the bone marrow, filet with cognac sauce, pork belly confit in mustard sauce with pumpkin and black beans, and the chocolate fondant with lemon custard and whipped cream. All very good but the bone marrow stole the show. Nice and friendly service.

Excellent on all accounts. The ambience is warm, the service is great and the food is truly exceptional, while the prices are reasonable. I had bone marrow with caramelized onions and parmesan and toasted baguette on the side (10€), Noix de Saint Jacques scallops with shiitake mushrooms, spinach and butternut as main dish (24€) with an excellent Macon on the side (6€/glass). However, it was the dessert that stole the show. A fondant chocolat noir, crispy outside and perfectly liquid inside, with passion fruit, white chocolate mousse and biscuit crumbles on top (10€). The balance of tastes was extraordinary and I struggle to remember if I have ever had a better chocolat fondant. Bravo!

Absolutely flawless food, an encyclopaedic wine list, simple excellence in the menu, and plenty of variety there too. Steaks and fish were amazing, desserts were outstanding. Recommended for anyone. Incredible. My son loved it too.

Stumbled upon this lovely family run restaurant one Friday evening. The proprietor was charming, and his wife cooks the small and delicious menu. The bone marrow, tuna carpaccio and fish of the day with courgettes was sublime. They suggested a great local wine pairing which went perfectly with all the dishes. Highly recommend this local gem.

We stopped in Beaune overnight on our way to the south of France. We stumbled upon La Buissonniere and were really happy we did. It’s run by a husband wife team, with amazing food coming out the kitchen and charming service. They were even polite about our middling French which as brits isn’t always the case in France! Couldn’t recommend more.

Great service. Good food and an an extensive wine list. Come early or make a reservation, people were turned away in disappointment. Low key and not pretentious.

Wow, what a fantastic dinner and experience. Everything we had was wonderfully executed and just so tasty. The frog legs and chicken 'nuggets' are great ways to start. My wife had the filet which she enjoyed, and I had the pork belly which was absolutely phenomenal. If you have room, you should also split the carrot cake!

Great restaurant with lovely courtyard and very friendly staff. The dinner was delicious, would highly recommend!

Food is beyond incredible. From startes to dessert everything was perfect. So many fantastic wines to choose from and kind service. Will definitely come back next time

Rude unaccommodating and smelly. Stay out May 2023 Stopped for dinner. Greeted by bartender, who recognized us as American and immediately pretended not to understand us. Then dismissed our request for table in pure French rudeness. I never imagined it was more than a frame of mind. Also the restaurant was filthy and smelled of trash. Don't bother.

Incredible food and a great atmosphere. We had the shrimp croquettes, bone marrow, rump steak and pork breast, they were all amazing! P.s. their silverware is beautiful

Incredible experience - the food is fantastic, as is the service from a husband and wife team who make running a restaurant themselves look effortless. 5 stars don’t do it justice… the best meals we’ve had in years, very good and reasonable wine list, and a great interaction throughout. Unassuming, but incredibly well executed French food.

We stumbled on this hidden gem by accident looking for a place to have dinner yesterday. We have been traveling in France for over three weeks and this was hands down one of the best restaurants we ate at (we are debating best or second best). Service and food were impeccable and we would totally go again. Unfortunately they were closed the second day of our trip or we would have been back

Very creative kitchen which can't be seen on the menu. We had almost all dishes and all where a pleasant unexpectedly surprise. Very good quality and a extensive wine list. Cosy ambiance, but not old fashioned. Perfect service. Correction t prices. Better reserve a table, they are busy, but not over crowded when we went. Highly recommend!! English spoken if you need it..

Nothing to say but spectacular!! Every dish we had was perfection. The bone marrow appetizer was one of the best dishes I have ever had. Octopus was melt in your mouth tender. Sweetbreads and fish special were both amazing. The host/waiter/chef’s husband was super friendly, helpful with choosing the dishes and wine, and we ended up with an amazing wine right in the price range we asked for. I wish we had booked this place every night we were here in Beaune! Do not hesitate to book this phenomenal restaurant!!
