I was there from 29 to 31 May. Everything worked in the room. Great noise isolation. Very close to the center. Free gated car park. Very very nice staff.

Very Expensive and poor quality service and room not properly cleaned. The pillows are made of synthetic material and difficult to sleep in this hot weather. In the bathroom and toilet area only one plastic bag for disposal of waste material. Very few tissues in the holder. The floor smelt of dogs urine! On the checkout I explained the above and had the reply, NO PROBLEM to each item raised! There was a problem and that is why I made the constructive comments. I suggest the receptionist goes on a customer awareness course to learn how to listen and not shout no problem! In fact she was so dismissive, I had to tell her to "Shut Up. The reply, No Problem! The Novotel franchise should in my opinion remove this hotel from their franchise. Robert Cubitt.

A nice hotel located just beside the highway. A good place to stop for a night after a long drive. The room is clean and comfortable. It has all the required necessities. There is an outdoor swimming pool as well as a restaurant. The dinner served is delicious. The buffet breakfast is also good. Recommendable.

Very convenient when you travel, and for the price of a motel diner, you get a proper Bourgogne restaurant with a large choice of wines. Now that has a price...

We enjoyed our stay while travelling across Europe nice food and comfortable room. Only problem was noisy people in room above moving furniture around all night!

Clean modern hotel and restaurant in an ideal location.

Very good hotel with great bed. Slept very comfortable, also a charger for the car. Breakfast was also good with many choices of bread, etc.

Not great. The restaurant is very expensive and low quality (overcooked steak, slow service). Had a better experience in another Novotel with a young baby (e.g. we were given baby shampoo - not here). Electric car charger was useful, however.

Plenty of parking. Very clean and tidy. Lots of space. Great shower. Very convenient stop over en route to the Alps, and <5 mins drive to the very centre of Beaune.

The reception is very professional, the staff is very friendly, available and flexible. Everything was perfect. We had a great time.

For the past 5 years I have been staying at this Hotel on my way to the south and on my way back from the south. I have been staying at the hotel at least twice a year. Unfortunately I made a mistake with my booking through Expedia. I made my reservation a day early, so a day before my arrival instead of the day of arrival. Without a doubt my own mistake. So when I arrived at the hotel the kind lady at the reception told me there was no booking for me. She could however see there was a booking the previous day. That's when I realised I made a mistake. I spoke to Expedia but they do not refund mistakes like that which I understand. But then I was very surprised to hear the hotel manager could not do anything for me. I fully understand they will not fully reimburse me as it was my own mistake. But I had to book the room again and pay the full price again. To my opinion a discount for the fact the hotel received the money for the night before would have been in place. Anyhow this is the reason I am very disappointed in the hotel's service. The rooms are fine, so are the beds. The smell in the hallway and rooms is not so nice, sometimes there is cigarette kind of smell in the rooms. They could do something about that. The breakfast is good. The whole thing why I like this hotel is the location.

The price is expensive but the quality is not satisfactory compared to other Novotels. The room is old, amenities are poor while the lobby is well-renovated. (Be careful with the nice lobby's photos in the Google reviews) Some of staff was not professional. I chose this hotel since I had a accor membership giving up the special atmosphere in the region, but with this price and quaility, I regret. There are many better alternatives in the region with a similar price range. (e.g. located in front of beautiful vineyard, nice restaurant with the region's special vibes)

Very poor, hotel nicely appointed but confusing to get to. Service was shocking, staff rude and not all services described are provided. Should not be 4 star closer to 2 star. Rip off

Entering the Novotel Beaune you are invited to drink wine. Burgundy wine of course. When I ordered wine by the glass I got an expensive non drinkable glas out of a bottle that was completely oxidated. When I ordered a second glass I asked for wine from a new freshly opened bottle. It was quite difficult to explain that to the bar staff. They did not understand English at all or very very bad. Quite surprising for an international hotel. Finally they offered me a glass out of a nearly empty bottle Pommard, completely oxidised and also not drinkable. When I told the man this he didn’t want to help me any more. Extremely impolite . Bad wine, bad service

We stayed at the Novotel Beaune just for one night as we had a stop over during our journey to montpellier. This place is perfect to stay if you look for a night and maybe an afternoon during your travels. The pool is big and the restaurant / breakfast was also great. Just a few minutes walk into the town you also have some restaurants as well. All in all, we will definetly come back and I also could imagine to stay longer than just one night. Finally I need to emphasaize the service at the front desk. Everyone ws very helpful and available in case we needed anything. Thank you!

We stayed here for one night with two little kids. Very nice and clean hotel. We will stay again at this hotel on a future trip in France. Good to know is that there are 4 charging stations on the hotel parking (for EV or PHEV)

Great hotel for stop over. location superb. Issue when we arrived that room wasn’t ready (4pm) told it would be 30mins but didn’t get room until 6pm and then kids beds not ready. Manager sorted out discount and drinks for us
