Great restaurant. True surprised. Food was great and price reasonable.

A good lunch spot with reasonable prices. Came here twice and liked my food both times since I'm a fan of the poached eggs with their Burgundian sauce. However, my friend thought his Burgundian beef was a bit bland. Service is fine, but just note that it can be slow since there is only one person serving the entire restaurant. It wasn't an issue for us but may not be the place for you if you are in rush.

A small familly restaurant with amazing plates with authentic flavors! If you want to try French cousin you have to visit this place!

Typical French restaurant. We booked a table quite late and the owner was able to squeeze us in late in the evening. In addition, the owner was very helpful, she checked in advance what the right content allergy was in our party, there was both a nut allergy and gluten intolerance. We ordered typical French snails and Terringe de champagne, the starters were incredibly good and nicely presented. Also the same with with our main courses. We were recommended their hamburgers, which turned out to be incredibly good, the meat was medium and cookrd perfectly. The fish that came in also turned out to be very nice. The atmosphere was pleasant with few tables where you could enjoy peace and quiet in the restaurant.

This restaurant was excellent. Likely one of top 3 meals we’ve had in two weeks in France. The quality of the food is high. Reasonable pricing. Really nice wine list for both glass and bottles. The service was extremely nice, helpful and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

One of the most incredible dining experiences we have had. The food and the service were simply perfection. We are American tourists and the welcome and invitation we got was very friendly and warm. This is a must for anyone in the area!

Excellent régional French bistro cuisine and wines. You could easily pass this place as it doesn’t look very special but don’t be fooled - simple, expertly made cuisine at modest prices.

We came here for lunch on Christmas eve. Had a bottle of delicious Cremant and a glass of Pinot N. Our little boy had just water of course. To start, snails and burgers for the main, followed by crème brûlée and coffee. The welcome from the owner and the service was excellent. Both, however, were surpassed by the food which was fantastic. If you’re in Beaune, mange ici.

The service was great the lady boss was very polite and helpful with recommendations, the food was very very delicious, very hearty delicious French fare without any pretentiousness. Best of all they allow dogs inside !

Imagine dinner at the home of a good friend. Now imagine that the friends husband is an exceptionally creative and skilled chef, and you can start to imagine a meal at Bacchus. The atmosphere is subdued. Service is warm and friendly. The menu is creative and well executed. In fact, several menu items have set the bar against which we measure all other preparations. And consistently, Bacchus continues to be one of our favorite restaurants not just in Burgundy but in all of France. We've visited several times over the past 10 years, and look forward to our next meal.

Lovely burger and the beef tartare

My husband and I had a spectacular dinner here. The food was delicious and the owner was so friendly and welcoming...she even took out her wine encyclopedias to explain the wine region to us while we enjoyed a couple of different wines. She went above and beyond to make us feel at home while we enjoyed our meal (and probably overstayed our welcome!). Highly recommend this experience.
