The most delicious gin I’ve had in a while. The gin tasting menu was a fantastic way to try a little bit of everything. The service was superb. Indoor and outdoor seating too!

Lovely staff who love their product and indeed there's nothing you can't love about Mother's ruin. Try both gins they produce onsite - they are smooth and SO interesting! I'd suggest to try them without tonic to fully get their totally different botanicals. The place's industrial look is smoothened by the natural decoration and the choice of music (good old Metallica, Judas Priest etc) made drinking even more enjoyable.

I booked Mother's Ruin for my 30th birthday back in January and the experience has been absolutely outstanding from the minute I emailed the venue up until after we left the venue Saturday. Siobhan is amazing , so thoughtful and the customer experience is second to none. Her communication was excellent, rarely leaving more than a few hours to reply. Her help over the last few months has been wonderful , thoughtful and made me feel really at ease leading up to it. You know she cares about every person who books at her bar. The night itself was incredible. The venue is beautiful and the drinks are insane. The bar staff were excellent, kind and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Siobhan and your excellent team!

Amazing! We hosted a private party for 50 people at Mother’s Ruin, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The staff were exceptionally accommodating in the led up, and nothing was too much trouble on the night. Nice fit out, interesting cocktails, fantastic service. Thanks again!

I hired the bar for a big birthday and had such a fun evening! My friends and family were all very complimentary about the venue and particularly mentioned how great and friendly the bar staff were. Siobhan helped arrange an evening that ran exactly how I hoped it would and she made everything feel very relaxed and smooth! Would highly recommend for a party or for simply popping in for a delicious cocktail or two!

Gorgeous cocktails, tastefully decorated space and super lovely staff! I celebrated my birthday at Mothers Ruin on a Sunday afternoon and Shibon and the team made it all go super smooth and were super accommodating allowing me to serve snacks and personalise the music! Had a great time here and could recommend to anyone wanting to do birthday parties or just pop in for a cocktail!

One of the only cocktail bars in Walthamstow. Quirky, unpretentious and located in a lovely little commercial estate next to breweries and a cafe. Just had my 40th birthday here as hired out the whole venue and the manager and staff were amazing!

We had our wedding party at Mother's Ruin and can't recommend them more. Siobhan is excellent and helped with making organisation as smooth as possible throughout and was there on the night as well. The bar staff were all excellent and there are equally good options for those not drinking alcohol. Rose - you are a superb bar manager and was a pleasure sharing our evening with you too!

Interesting range of London brewed gins, knowledgable and friendly staff, especially Saul, he makes the best filthy martinis! Great little spot in a former industrial area, with Austin, Texas vibes and with Gods Own Junkyard next door.

I visited this place with my partner at the weekend. I was very impressed. The old Tom gin was the best I’ve tasted. Also they had a very good tasting menu. Additionally, the staff were very knowledgeable about gin. It was evident from the staff and the owner that they were really passionate about the product. It would be good to be able to buy the gin on the internet.

Delicious! Their flavoured gins are gorgeous and far superior to major brands. I especially love the sloe gin and the orange rum. Bottles of their spirits make great gifts. The gin palace is small but has a long cocktail list that varies by season, and they are very tasty.

It's the most unusual and great place to enjoy an evening of Gin. The staff are excellent, their hospitality is 2nd to none. They also have themed nights for you to enjoy. Google them for more information

Mother's Ruin hosted us for our engagement party. We all had a wonderful time. Siobhan and the team were so welcoming, friendly and gave us great service in advance and on the evening. The range of drinks is fab, the gimlets are particularly delicious! Would highly recommend as a beautifully decorative, distinctive and fun party venue.

Beautiful venue, really friendly and helpful team running the bar, great selection of cocktails, and all very easy to organise a party there. Would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a venue for a birthday or similar, and will definitely be going back!

Our daughter had an amazing Christening at Mother's Ruin! The staff were super friendly, made the day very special and our guests so welcome. We can't wait to plan our next event here.
