πŸ‘πŸ‘ Fantastic place for vegan meals for sure! My boyfriend isnt vegan but he enjoyed ever meal. It was amazin from to soup to the dessert. Maybe the only dissapointment is that I thought there is a bigger menu to choose from not just what was on the whiteboard but other than that the food was very tasty... People often mention vegan, staff, delicious, friendly, good, service, lovely, time, atmosphere, amazing,

Please keep this place a secret. It's exceptional. Mezze starter, with flatbread, olives, peppers and chilli's, with an unbelievable smoked aubergine dip. How they got it that smooth, I have no idea. Hummus brilliant too. Bread was so light. Good house wine Β£15 a bottle, organic too. Bottle of tap water on table without asking. Good procedures covid-wise. Order using the app, lots of sanitiser around. Bit of a shop and health food store included here too. Main course was cauliflower gyros. Wow. Perfectly cooked and superb seasoning. Wife had aubergine curry with melon, pineapple and black rice. It was superb. Excellent staff and service, brilliant atmosphere.

Fantastic place for vegan meals. Good prices, delicious food. We have eaten in and had the takeaway options and been impressed on both occasions. The food is really good and we need to try more of the menu in the future. Cannot wait to get back here! Good luck!

Delicious food and lovely service. The vegan quinoa burger was very tasty! Menu isn't huge though and, while my meal was excellent value for money and very filling, my friend's was on the small size. But overall, I highly recommend.

Amazing food and great spacious cafe. One of the nicest vegan cafes I’ve been to. The vibe is cool, I think it could do with more plant and deco. All the food options sound delicious and original. The pea and mint soup with sourdough bread was exquisite and a good portion. The vanilla cake with cherry tied the meal together nicely. The staff were sweet and I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in Jesmond.

Breakfast We visited for an All day breakfast today and were completely blown away by the flavour and quality of the food. Each of the ingredients were delightful and complemented each other perfectly. I would highly recommend anyone switching to a plant based diet to visit Little Green Newcastle. The service is really friendly and it’s somewhere I will definitely visit for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Really impressed with the decor and atmosphere too and can’t wait to come back! Lunch After having such a good breakfast we had to come back for lunch a week later. We tried the FAVA bean hummus which was made in house. The texture and flavours were fantastic. The FAB bakery bread was also crispy and perfect for dipping. Probably the best Hummus we have ever had! The portion size was also great. The burger was also made in house including the buns. We loved the glaze and the umami flavours of the patty. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a chunky burger to try this. The miso buttered potatoes were divine and loved dipping these in the the aioli. Overall the Service was just as fantastic as our first visit and atmosphere very relaxed and will definitely be visiting on a regular basis now.

Quite possibly the best food I've ever had. Even better that it's all vegan! The vibe is so friendly, relaxed and welcoming. Love the gender neutral toilets and Pride and Trans pride flags on display. Also great to see the refill shop growing.

Nice vegan restaurant/ cafe. Friendly staff, outdoor space, good range of menu options. I had the sourdough French toast and an iced hazelnut latte. The toast was nice but extremely rich and I wasn't able to finish, which made it a bit pricey at Β£8.50. The latte was supersweet, so just be aware of that if, like me, you don't like your coffees over-sweet. Maybe ask for less syrup.

Best place to go for a quick bite in Newcastle. Never mind the best vegan place. Sunday dinners are amazing and their French toast breakfasts are something special

In my experience Little Green is one of the very best places anywhere in the UK. Top notch food, service and space. Been twice in three days after they closed briefly and couldn’t wait to get back. Absolutely fantastic.

Had a really delicious lunch here on our first visit. We had a soup with sourdough toast and a focaccia sandwich special which were both excellent. Good portions and well presented. Staff were friendly and helpful. Its a nice open space. We booked though it wasn't too busy on Monday but it might be useful at other times. Definitely going back next time we are in the area.

The friendliest staff you will ever meet, treated like guests in their home, then to be served some of the nicest food I have ever had! It was my first time there and first time trying proper vegan food and I will definitely now be a regular, I hope they have enough of the delicious smoothies to go round!! :)

Delicious Saturday brunch, generous portions. I had the "Shakshuka", which had a nice chilli-kick to it. The Feta (coconut-based) tasted just like the sheep/goat-based stuff, and the Tempeh had a nice bite, to replace the egg. My partner had the "Sweet French Toast: Sourdough Pan Fried in Sweet Cinnamon Batter, topped with Poached Rhubarbfrench toast had , Vanilla Ice Cream & Biscuit Crumb". He said: "Ice cream? Is it really 'brunch'? Who cares when it tastes this good!" The sourdough was deliciously crisp/chewy on the outside and fluffy and soft in the middle; it had a wonderful hint of banana bread - the waitress informed us that this was because they use banana in the batter, instead of egg. Luckily, we managed to leave room for our ice cream. Go on, treat yourself!

Best vegan cafe ever! Staff are so friendly, lovely and welcoming. The cafe has a brilliant contemporary feel to it with calming colours, lighting, subtle music and strong espresso to compliment stunning decaf triamphs such as turmeric latte. Spacious, clean, fresh and cozy space. The green breakfast is so tasty, lots of colours and flavours on your plate. The cinnamon toast can be described as heaven on a plate 🍽️😍Compliments to the incredible chef. Its become our regular cafe as we thoroughly enjoy our visit every time. Thank you so much

The cherry bakewells are absolutely amazing from Little green.. I don’t know how many times I’ve went there just to buy them, best served warm with custard. Absolutely stunning

Absolutely perfect food, amazing smiley friendly service. The raw berry cheesecake is a absolute must. This is the best vegan cafe in the North East. Please go support them and try it out - you will not be disappointed.

Breakfasts here are amazing but can differ which I'm guessing comes down to who's cooking. Don't expect to get your meal quickly as this is my only real gripe but the end result is definitely worth the wait. The staff are very friendly and the menu is very good, I'd recommend the turmeric latte.

one of the only real non-fast food vegan places, all non vegans can enjoy this menu, gyros is is a delight on the taste buds, the wrap for the gyros they make themselves and is second to none, they also source their sourdough bread from FAB bakery, the best bread in Newcastle (another treat if you have never tried FAB), lots of fresh ingredients. whether it be homemade sauces or fresh herbs they do not cut corners, amazing establishment. Full flavour food that is NOT fast food like, just well balanced, nutritious and delicious. Added bonus the staff are all wonderful people and are happy to help. well done LGS

I'm a great fan of Little Green and all that the restaurant is trying to achieve - the food, atmosphere and staff are wonderful! Particular shout out to Gareth Zeal, resident nutritionist, and his help in identifying my food intolerances. I had been suffering with some food sensitivities for a while (but could not quite figure them out) - my intolerance test with Gareth helped me identify my trigger foods, and the rest is history... Finally I am returning to normal digestive function! Highly recommended!

Interesting vegan and vegetarian menu. Good service. They didn't do camomile tea but the server took time to explain all the other tea options until I found one I liked to try. Unfortunately the smoothie/juice machine wasnt working so we didn't get to try it but apparently the turmeric one is good. My salad was tasty and filling. The burrito bowl was excellent, especially the guacamole. They also sell a selection of refillable goods like lentils and soaps, but these aren't cheap here. Food is Recommended.
