An excellent example of Victorian architecture and beautiful interiors. What really makes this a special place are the staff that run it and their incredible knowledge! Brilliant!

Really nice experience. It turned out to be a lot more fun than I expected. There was a nice arts and crafts area for the kids In The basement as well as some nice throwbacks for the adults. Some records and 70s memorabilia.

Beautiful restored Victorian home. The tour guides are very knowledgeable. Timed entry so not at all crowded.

Glanmore by Gaslight is the top shelf of Christmas activities. Staff are delightful an volunteers go above and beyond. Each interaction displayed the love for the house and their passion for sharing their knowledge with guests. 20 out of 5 stars.

Excellent place! Must visit if you are in the area. Kasaloma is bigger but less fancy exhibits.

We visited this mansion on June 24. There is a parking lot at the place. You can visit this house on your own. You can read the information boards or scan a QR code to get more information about each room. In the basement there was an exhibition about the 1960s. You could even play records from that time on a turntable.

Beautiful Home! Amazingly well kept inside and out! Takes you to a different elite era of the wealthy back in the 1880's. Some items are real classics and some items are a replica. The woods and designs throughout on the walls and floors are spectacular. The heavy wood tables, sideboards and armoires are intricately designed and stunning to see up close. The carpet on the stairs, bedrooms and dining room are beautiful. Wish we could see the kitchens in the servants quarters but that is not available unfortunately. I still recommend you see this historic site.

Everyone on staff was extremely kind and didn't even seem like staff, more like someone sharing a genuine interest they have with you. Everyone was smiling and laughing with eachother, it was a wonderful afternoon!

Absolutely beautiful. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I plan to take my daughters sometime soon. Call in advance because they do book tours, and host events.

I've toured the home many times over a span of 25 years. It's fantastic! I always learn something new about the home or the time period.

Well preserved historical home that gives us a completely different perspective of life and living. The simple advances of indoor plumbing or doing laundry were enough to ease the burden of those times. A guided and unguided tour through the house is available. Worth it for older adults to appreciate the current modern conviences.

Good overall experience. The guide was very friendly & informative. Excellent displays, especially the ones in the basement.. thanks for the flashback (lol). Would recommend to see on a rainy day.

One of the wonderful examples of wealth and sophisticated lifestyle in the late 19th century in the city of Belleville, worth visiting for the entire family, there is a short introduction tour and plenty of new things to discover related to the past) Unlike many other places here you are welcome to sit on the couches and take pictures.

Astounding! What a display of early 20th century opulence and luxury. The building is very well maintained, presents well , is free to enter and staffed by knowledgeable and helpful folks. Worth a visit !

A must-see second empire home. You can walk 3 floors, the staff are friendly. Not needed to buy tickets in advance. I walked it in 40 minutes. Bathroom in the basement.

Interesting mansion with still a few original furnishings left. Good presentation and historical introduction by the knowledgeable staff. Recommended to visit, at least once.
