Well I just had the super burrito and holy cow man. U could split it between two people and still have leftovers. Very good flavor and plenty of food for the money. Will definitely be back again.

Great food but this past few times I've been disappointed with the wait times. I call before hand to make an order. The lady in the front gives me an estimated time of 20 min I get there 20 min later just like she said and I come to find out my order is still in the queue. I have a 30 min lunch break from work and I still gotta drive 5 min here and 5 back. That leaves me with a 20 kin window to eat. I've had to wait an extra 20 to 25 waiting for my order at tye restaurant. The lady need to be more precise she does thus everyday for a living you'd think she would be great at it.

The food is quite good and they make it very quickly. The prices fluctuate and it's hard to pin down what they might be charging, and make note that they do charge a small fee for using a credit card (I believe it's about $0.50). It's a little pricey, but the food is well made and yummy. The food does travel well in terms of taste... But it's not always packaged well too go... Many times you'll end up with a mess of sauce and beans all over everything inside the bag. If that doesn't phase you, then definitely recommend this place, since the food is worth it.

It hasn't changed. Same great taste and talk about the huge burritos!! They have tejuinos too 😋 just need to call before to order. For safety and their safety but it doesn't take long to get your order ready. I been coming here for years now. Then I stopped because of the diet lol. Today I decided to treat myself. Never disappoints. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Food was good nothing great,but prices over rated. $15 dollar's for a burrito is senseless.

Ive been eating here for 5 years. I'm not a weekly regular or anything like that, but I do know that they have delicious tacos de carne asada, also sometimes during the cooler months they have champurrado that is the absolute bomb. Yes they charge you for extra salsa and there is a fee for using a card which is no surprise, but the food is worth it. The place is clean and the food is always fresh. And if its not fresh they simply apologize for not having it and they don't sell it to you.and yes sometimes they might be watching the soccer game or the play offs, but they are speedy and friendly. Pay the extra buck get your tacos, salsa and chips and enjoy!

Carnitas are hands down the best I've ever had! Been coming here for about 15 years. Horchata is good, salsas are good...worth the trip from OC!

Little whole in the wall with great Mexican style breakfast, tacos , burritos and some seafood dishes. Currently only take out or delivery available. Food is tasty like spicy salsa get the red one👍 Specialty in the menu is there super burrito with meat of your choice feed 4-6 peeps or if you are brave enough to take on the whole thing👍Closed on Tuesdays learned the hard way🤣 always love coming in when they are opening and the smell of freshly cooked Asada opens up your appetite.

First time here I ordered 3 tacos for $12 while in the menu they had the same tacos 4 for $11 and the waitress didn’t say anything. Just mad about the bad service.

I don't know what grease or oil they use... But the Taste of the Milanesa was Horrible. Save your money.

El Chilito is a little hole in the wall in Downey,CA. It may be small but this place serves some of the best Mexican food around. The rice is traditional Mexican with all the right ingredients. Soft and moist. The beans are slow cooked and taste great! Enchiladas,tacos, sopes,chili Verde, carnitas, carne asada are all delicious. I have never tried the mariscos here. The food is fresh and worth trying. It's not cheap though. You get what you pay for.

The carnitas burrito is amazing. The service is great, very small place but it’s good food.

The person at the front counter spoke primarily Spanish and spoke broken English, which made ordering difficult. This is only a problem for those who don't speak any Spanish, such as myself. I ordered 2 chili rellenos burritos with chips and guacamole. The bill came out to over 40 dollars, and the food was not good at all.

Been coming here for years no air conditioning but so what THE FOOD IS AMAZING. Highly recommend it

Chilitos restaurant is the bomb my kid loves this place and I love it as well the burritos are awesome
