06/24/23: I had some downtime walking, running, and climbing in this beautiful park. The parking is enormous, and there is no need for Discover Pass The park itself is large, with clear arrows for directions and tons of things to discover. The most impressive thing that stuck to my mind is the gorgeous waterfall at the entrance. Lovely park with relaxing and calming nature inside it

A lovely park with an ancient bridge and beautiful waterfalls. Short and light (there are stairs at some point so not suitable for a baby stroller). Near the parking lot there are public washrooms and small playground. Highly recommended.

A very serene area where the falls are flowing. Loved the peace and calm there. Just after a very short hike up the falls you will find another small falls - we saw lot of young people playing, bathing and swimming there - looked fun but I think i read no swimming in falls somewhere in the park so not sure if this was allowed. The small playground is nice for less then 4 years old kids.

Small yet beautiful falls to visit. If you are expecting it to be a big place, it’s not. You just need to walk 2 mins to see the falls, however there are trails where you can do hike in between trees which feels relaxing and soothing.

It’s so great park to enjoy weekend! Bring your snack and lunch and swimwear and shoes for playing in the river and you can enjoy couple hours. Place is so green and beautiful too. From parking to bridge is only a minute and only 3-5min to pool and falls.

Great Park. We went there without any prior expectations and were completely blown away by the Park. It was bright sunny day, there are bike lanes, multiple trails and a small water fall. There is the old stone bridge and a small play area for kids under 5. You can even do BBQ here or small picnic parties. You can also take a dip near the falls and it was a refreshing experience. There is no public bath or change area as it is not an official public pool/bath place. But we couldnt resist ourselves when we saw so many people taking a dip and jumping in the water.

This was a great family outing. We were visiting from Utah, while the rest of our family flew out from the East coast. We hiked a little, took the grandbaby to the park, enjoyed the falls....it was glorious!

Beautiful park. Amazing hiking trails. The falls are beautiful as well. Large parking area. Restrooms were clean and well stocked. Playground was a little small but decent. Hatchery was fun to look at and see. Definitely a lot to see and do for such a little park. Also seen lots of leashed dogs.

A beautiful park with a really cool waterfall right next to the entrance! The waterfall is so picturesque😍 You can chill by the water, and it's super refreshing. Plus, there are hiking trails all around, so you can explore the area. It's a great place to just kick back, have a picnic, or snap some killer Instagram pics. Trust me, you gotta check it out if you're into nature and good vibes.

This is my favourite park in Bellingham. Lots of trails to explore, with many places to stop and enjoy the serenity of nature. There are several falls along the creek, the largest of which is near the east end of the park. Water flow is strongest in the winter and spring. While exploring off trail is possible, and fun, please note that the rocks here get extremely slippery when wet. The park is accessible by car with lots of parking near the main falls in the eastern portion of the park. The Silver Beach access road off Lakeway gets you very near the main falls and several trails. Accessing the park on foot is delightfully easy as there are entry points on all sides of the park. While biking is possible on the trails, there are several trails that have steep stairs.

One of the most unique & diverse Bellingham Parks in my opinion with the amazing falls and various hiking and biking trails and paths all over to explore. There is two playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball area and even a mtb pumptrack. A great local park for exploring in nature right in the city. Also a photographers dream!

A park with a waterfall. A short calm hike. A few parking lots. Whatcom waterfall There are not many views it’s more a walk under the trees. Few small lakes. Convenient short walk to the whatcom lake beach nearby if you want to go to the “real beach”. Some amenities. Quite convenient place for a short hike

Absolutely stunning. Oasis within 5-10 minutes of Bellingham. Perfect place to FALL back and connect with nature. Plenty of trails, especially along the river! Minimal walk from parking lot to waterfalls if you don’t/ can’t walk far.

Love that the waterfalls and stone bridge is so close to the parking lot. Saw some deer on the way out. Honestly the closest I've been to deer in nature. Just a lovely park for a walk.

Such a cute park! The falls are beautiful! A park with the amenities of a small city park (playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, bathrooms, off-leash dog areas, etc.) but with trails that feel like you’re out in the middle of the woods. I love walking here!

I came to visit Bellingham for the 1st time & was delighted to find this beautiful park or shall I say treasure in the middle of the city. I’m so thankful that the city has preserved so much of nature for this place to exist still. There are so many trails to walk & discover that you Amy get lost so be prepared. The views are spectacular & please respect the fact it’s still a park & there are rules. There is plenty of parking & no passes are required, the have restrooms & drinking fountains & picnic tables & plenty of grass if you want to lounge around. There a flat trails & paved ones along with dirt ones with mud & tree roots so again you get to chose but do a lil research so you don’t get lost this place is HUGE!

I have been wanting to check this place out for a while now. It was quite beautiful. The parking was ample, and the stone bridge was easy to get to for a viewing of the riverband falls. There is a lovely playground for the kiddos, biking trails, and restrooms. While it was not overly crowded this time, I feel this is a very popular spot, and parking may not be easy in the later, warmer months. Highly recommend. We will be back again!

Free parking but signage is terrible. I didn’t even know which direction to go towards and just listened for the falls. They’re pretty but way too crowded with large groups and zero courtesy towards others. It’s not mobility friendly as there’s a steep incline. Don’t go in the summer. Much too crowded. Lots of kids jumping into the water with rocks beneath which was concerning. Pathway is narrow as well. Dog friendly but keep your dog on a leash as there are deer.

I wish this park was closer to my home! I would be here everyday! I went in the water this time and it felt good. The energy in the area is great. There is a bathroom and a playground for little ones. The trails are easy.

👍👍 The best farmers market in the North end, in my opinion. Great selection of vendors from all corners of the county, and local Western WA region.
