The hotel was a perfect spot for a vacation from the ambiance of the room to the staff members. Everyone was very helpful from day one. It would take a great mind to decorate such a small space with such elegance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to all my friends and would always stay there whenever I come to Banaras.

Horrible experience Standard room with balcony - The room size is very small, it’s like a king size room with queen size bed. Prices are very high in comparison to size of the room and location of the property. Location is far from tourist attractions and the lane is very dirty outside the property. There are millions of mosquitoes and insects outside room so they come inside the room even if the light is off. We sat in the restaurant for sometime without ordering anything and the host was just staring and asking again and again for order. Restaurant was 50% occupied. So we left getting irritated. We paid 5000 for a 6x6 room, but we can’t sit stress free in the restaurant. Service is okay. Rohit was helpful but some issues can’t be resolved by any help. There are many great properties in Varanasi which one can look for.

Artistically decorated, comfortable rooms located near Dalimm's School, behind Sigra stadium this hotel is worth the many 5 star reviews it has received. The staff is what makes the hotel. The staff are extremely warm, hardworking and do anything to make your stay comfortable. I was traveling with my grandmother, and the staff left no stone unturned to make her comfortable. •About the location- it is located about 20 mins away from the Ghats, but that is a boon, as the Ghats are crowded and if you want to de-stress, this is the place. A toto (readily available from the gate) is available for 100 Rupees and takes you to the Ghats. •About the food/complementary breakfast- the breakfast spread is impressive, every morning there is fresh milk shakes, they make eggs or parathas to order and everyday the menu was different. The restaurant food is slightly on the steeper side, but the food is top notch. Do try the Butter Chicken! •About the rooms- Extremely cleanly, beautifully decorated, have a complementary hamper waiting for you. Try asking for the rooms with Garden view. •Overall- My stay here was truly a relaxing experience. The hotel resembles boutique hotels of Europe, and very aesthetically decorated. There are fun board games and foosball to have fun. The staff are amazing. Will definitely visit again. This is the place to stay when in Benaras!

Stay Banaras .. as the name says it's actually a well maintained,neat and clean property , with neat and clean room with clean bathroom. The staff at reception was very nice to us and gave us an early check in room even though it was a very busy day, also arranged an E-rickshaw for us. The room was clean and nice, and yes the hotel kit wasn’t provided but we were told that we can ask if we want to get it. ( totally understandable as I wouldn’t even bother using it) The food was also great and the breakfast had really good options. It is definitely a safe option if you’re travelling alone/with friends. It is also located in a good locality and easy to be spotted. overall it was an amazing stay.

Nice and good place but there are frogs in the washroom. However they had arranged for an auto - Shiva bhaiya, the auto driver was very helpful and gave us the tour of the city and Sarnath. Although it is located a bit far from the ghaat and mandir but the place has an European vibe. We stayed in 4 bunker bed and the experience was good. They had given us cooking equipments and an induction in the room itself for us to cook something whenever we want.

One of the best hotels to stay with family or friends. The staff is very helpful they never say no to anything you ask for. Food is very tasty and simply awesome. I loved the ambience and the minute detailing done to make it the one of the best hotels to stay at Varanasi.

The breakfast and the restaurant food is delicious. Overall, a pleasant stay. The hotel is near to the Varanasi Junction railway station.

Great service, everyone was amazing and eager to help! The price for the quality of the room is really good, and the location is quiet. The restaurant was also good and Mitali is super friendly. I'd recommend checking which car they pick for the drive to the airport, since the cab they called for me was in a bad shape and we got stranded a couple of times. It wasn't a problem since I took my time and went early for my flight, but it could have been.

They have affordable, good value rooms which are clean and comfortable. The staff are absolutely lovely and very welcoming, always offering their help. The food at the restaurant is very tasty and is a fair price. I hope to return to this hotel on my next visit to Varanasi :)

I loved staying at this hotel. The room was clean and safe. The hotel manager is one of the best in the business. He responds to each request positively and does his best to say yes to everything you ask. I loved their welcome drink and free breakfast. The location of the hotel is also very nice as it’s like 10 minute's auto drive from the main temple. If I ever have the luck to visit Varanasi again, this is the place I will stay. From safety, and cleanliness to the five-star manager, this place provides the best value for money.

This was my 4th trip to banaras and I was looking for some artistic place with a different feel. Came across Stay Banaras but was confused as few were extreme postive and few were extreme negative . So I wil share both the views If you are looking for a luxury stay with big rooms and 5star facility this is not your place and that's how few guest have rates bad If you are looking for a artistic place , good vibes , open space , quiet place , great food and lovely people they are the one . While you enter you feel where I am going as construction is going on in neighbourhood stadium and this is in a lane . The moment you see the yellow gate it's stuck in your eyes and the moment you enter the green by lane and English look takes your heart away .it's a small cute boutique hotel with just 11 rooms in which couple are for backpackers . The courtyard makes you feel you are in France and the welcome drink is served with love . Rohit their front line office manager is your Friday man he will arrange every thing for you . Vibha their operation lady will ensure you are comfortable and the girls in morning breakfast time will ensure you had a great breakfast 😊. Minimal things lovely kachauri sabji , Parathas , cheese ommelete They have some indoor games A lovely swing , the yellow white theme takes your breathe away 💛 You can have hundred pics as every corner is picturesque . Now some thing which people may not like , room size is not average , there is no parking at hotel you have to park at Road side which is 80mt away , gaurd look clueless they should be more promt . Reception area could be more lavish it's cramped . Rest all is good and i recomend this to every one who want a friendly stay with great food and support to explore banaras They have their other restaurant Dakshin Kashi which is next to vishwanth temple gate 4 , where they allow to keep your belongings as it's not allowed . They will help you to get a pandit at reasonable cost who can help for a good darshan . They also arranged. My saree shopping at a very reasonable rate and planned my boat and food tour 🤠 Not to forget the team name Neetu, guru lunch time , Aman night from , rakhi and Rahul n breakfast , Ramashre in house keeping all are yes men and women and are at your service for your need

I recently stayed at this property for almost a week on my trip to Varanasi to experience Dev Deepawali. I would highly recommend staying here for everyone, whether you are a solo traveler or visiting with friends or family. My flight was delayed and I only arrived here around midnight on the day of my check in but I was able to keep the hotel updated on my flight status and timings easily via WhatsApp. They were even ready to keep dinner ready for us in case we needed it. The check in was smooth and the rooms were neat and clean. The sheets and towels are changed everyday. I stayed in the mixed dorm that has 6 beds. The bathrooms were also kept neat and clean. The best part was the hospitality and the food at this place. All the staff were super helpful and friendly, right from the security guard to the kitchen and restaurant staff. They made me feel right at home. And the food is to die for. The breakfast buffet is an awesome spread that includes both Indian and continental options. The menu changed everyday and found myself waiting to find out what I would be eating the next day. I fell in love with their Masala chai. But they also have Blue Tokai coffee available. From the restaurant menu I highly recommend their pizzas, pastas and the cheesy cigars. Simply superb. They even organised a complimentary dinner party for all their guests on one of the nights. The nights at this place were lively with lights, music and jam sessions. The location is also good. It's about 4km from Assi ghat and easily accessible using shared autos from the area. If I ever do visit Varanasi again, this place will be my first choice of stay! Thank you team for a very memorable experience.

It’s simply a well maintained property with probably everything you can ask for in a good hotel. The staff is so lovely and the food is so authentic and pleasant. The architecture of this marvellous building is one my favourite now forever. Just to keep it short, I’ll just request you to try it once and decide yourself, it won’t disappoint you in any way, they have unbelievably very affordable pricing, I don’t know how they keep to provide such quality and service in these pricing! I stayed in the dorm where 6 people can sleep. I slept on the upper bunk bed, mattress was comfortable, room is well lit coz of the lights, ac is powerful enough, each bunk bed comes with its own reading light (mine was not working) n a fan. This was a first experience for me staying in a dorm. They also have private rooms. Breakfast was good n elaborate. Dorm Room is very small n cramped. No hooks or hangars for clothes, lockers too small for a backpack to fit in. No curtains for the beds and no place to keep ur phone n watch.

Nice and clean place, we had the private room on the terrace with a sit out area and small garden, peaceful away from the chaos of ghats. About 3 kms away from the main temple complex but not an issue as the tuk tuks are affordable, special thanks to the Barista shubham Yadav for his excellent Beverage making skills, loved all of the shakes and drinks he made during out stay. Would come back 👍🏽

The restaurant at Stay Banaras, “Behind Yellow Doors” never disappoints in providing a scrumptious meal. My personal favorites to dig in are Aglio E Olio, Chicken Lasagna and Cheese Cigar Rolls. The place provides a free Wi-Fi facility with a decent network. Also like to thank front office Rohit and John along with all the kitchen team Chef Prasad, brew master Shubham and other staff for the best services and experience. If you are looking for a place that's comfortable, modern and yet has an element of contemporary art then Stay Banaras is the place for you.

We ended up getting dorm room. They have good rooms if it is double triple Or quad sharing however the dorm has no security and bathroom is shared between 2 dorms of 6 pax each there hygiene maintenance needs major improvement. Otherwise the ambience is good.
