Poor service We checked into our room at 11.00 and found there were no towels. We immediately reported to the lady at reception,who assured us that housekeeping would bring them. When we came back from our excursion at 1600 there were still no towels and the lady had knocked off. I gave them 2 stars to reward good service we received at the restaurant.

Breakfast was good. The staff were absolutely great! Aircon and wifi worked great. The hotel is quite new, but they really need to do some fumigation and get rid of the cockroaches, which were in the bathroom and occasionally ran through the room.🪳

Contrary to the terrible experience in Damal Hotel Hargeisa, the Berbera hotel was the epitome of professionalism and great hospitality. Fowzi was a great person who runs the hotel with elegance and class. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Berbera.

There’s no service at all , in room 312 there’s no line there’s no where to call the reception. It takes me a time to find some one to order .The food is 4/10 . The location is 10/10 .

Very welcoming, friendly and professional staff. The workers clean your room and wash your clothes in a good way. The food is of high quality and the boys working at the restaurant are very professional and friendly in comparison to other hotels in somaliland. Its also located near the beach.

The cake and cookies are old to taste almost everything on the menu is not available the ginger tea gave me the shock of my life Dawa tea avoid the only thing good in this hotel is Faisal friendly professional employee he’s a gem 💎 the coolness of the room also one towel for 2 people are we meant to tear it and share it. 37USD for a room with no windows. The breakfast pancakes are not freshly made but from a plastic container.

The facility is great in terms location and access. With a regular or less quality services.

Bad service the food was delicious but you have to wait more then usual and also mind the fact that the hotel admin shuts down the AC whenever he feels like it and the was WiFi was bad.

Fozi at the Damal hotel was very welcoming and kind. The service was amazing and the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Also they had the best ice cream I’ve had!

Good hotel specially the location. Had a pleasant stay.

Rooms are nice and clean. However, service was horrible. We called the reception to come fox the air conditioning and waiter for over an hour at mid night! We had to go downstairs and fetch the guy himself in order to get it sorted but the air conditioning was broken and hotel was supposedly full so we could not change rooms. Had to sleep in scorching heat. Food was bland and did not taste good with overly high prices. Terrible experience would not recommend to anyone at all. I’d rather sleep outside than in that hotel again. If the service wasn’t so bad I would’ve liked the place.

Damal hotel is a luxurious hotel and outstanding restaurant, with a friendly environment. Its good place for weddings,graduation ceremony, and also family parties. Although they have 5star rooms. The only think that may be you wouldn't like will be a price , its a little bit expensive.

The hotel was lovely and clean and worth the price. It was spacious with an ac and a fan and the servers at the restaurant and the manager were super kind and welcoming .I would recommend this place when you go to this hot city as its nice and cool.the only thing that was bad was the service for food as it took so long Overall I rate this place a 5

I am from hargeisa and Wallahi Damal hotel berbera the best hotel I stayed at so far!! Kind and trust worthy staff even the securities are nice and they have the best manager’ “fossi” give him a raise right nowww, Wallahi one of the best strangers I have ever met May Allah bless him. I left my phone at the hotel and left to hargeisa I was scared but he had everything under control🫡🫡 ALSO Has the most beautiful view 🤭 BIG Recommend‼️‼️‼️ W FOZZIIIIIIII🫡❤️
