This is only about the wellness part. Facilities are nice, but avoid busy times as everything (apart from swimming pool) is indoor and space may hence be limited. Fletcher itself is a very reliable business with good deals and reliable quality.

Very bad service. Didn't have the courtesy to inform in advance that there is no AC nor that they have renovation. Didn't even tried to find a solution nor to provide any compensation I don't recommend this place

Wonderful hotel and location. Service is nice. Spa could have had more options and a more comfortable pool area.

This hotel has great potential. But we where not as happy as it could be due to one (or two) main reasons. The room had AC, but it didnt work. There is one thing that worst than not having an AC when you need it, which is, to have one in your room and not be able to use it. Plus, the stuff didnt even offered a fan instead. Second, the two single bed in the room. In the message we got, it said that the some rooms have double bed and some single. When we checked in, we got only the two single bed option. Pitty. I think this hotel can improve itself easily.

The room did not smell fresh and it was dusty everywhere like the coffee machine, the soap dispenser, the mirror , the tissue holder to name a few.

Definitely not a 4 stars hotel. Old rooms without refridgerator. Aircondition out of service without info at check in. Bathroom was not clean with many visible long hairs in the shower. Wellness is not included. Very loud because of the street and poor isolation and no airco. Maybe bad luck but I don’t accept this in this class.

Okay hotel but it needs to be refreshed, especially rooms because they show a wear. Breakfast couls also be more rich. Position was ok.

Not really bad, not really good. Easy parking, confortable room, good breakfast, friendly service... But lack of maintenance and cleaning. Glass door at the entrance not clean, and most of all dirty carpet floor in restaurant, entrance, stairs... Refurbished, could be very nice hôtel.

Very nice location, close to beach, old town, big roads and so on. The hotel has really thin walls and doors. The rooms, especially the toilets have been well in use and start to look like something I would not dare to promote at all if I was the owner. The breakfast is good and the restaurant even decent. The lobby bar is very cozy and full of people on some days, hanging by the bar so no one can get ordering anything. The usual, and nothing to do with the hotel itself. The place rents e-bikes but only for a full day rate (25 €). I suggest you take the Hopper app and walk to the HopperStop 300 m from hotel (at the gym/Mc Donalds building at seashore) and use those bikes. Costs 2 €/use roughly and max 10 €/day. Wellness costs quite dearly extra.

Humming sound all night. From outside and inside. Airco out of order. Answer from front desk: indeed we have that problem. We are aware of it. There are problems with central airco located on roof. There was no discount offered. Bad night. Will not return.

Was there for work. Facilities are nice and clean, staff friendly, and food fine. Made use of the spa for a sports massage, but I didn't have time for the (nudist) spa, so I didn't need to pay for that, just the massage. Went for a 7km run around the shore. Felt safe.

Next to the room there is some sort of extraction fan. It let's off it's ridiculous high pitched scream about once an hour, every hour all night. Stay anywhere else if you want to sleep

Unfortunately a bad hotel to spent your weekend or even longer. It should definately loose stars because the room we got it was not renovated from +20 years ago and the carpet on the common corridor had huge dirty stamps. It tricks you from the entrance since it is recently renovated but the many rooms looks like from the past. Price quality it does not worthy, better to book smaller hotel to be tidy and fresh. The airco was very dirty and dusty, it seemed not cleened for more than 2 years, this is not according to covid rules either. During the night i managed not to sleep at all due to continue noise from next shower and other internal noises which i could not identify the source. Wellness hotel it is which calmness and freshness should be top priority. Unhappy and dissapointed for the money we spent in this hotel.

Very old shabby pillow. And a lot of noise from the piping in the building. The water of the wellness is awful. Too much Hydrogen peroxide in the water. I got allergic in 10 min. I won't visit Fletcher again.

This hotel is normally in a lovely peaceful location BUT check that there isn't a rave going on across near the beach front, as you will hear this and it will affect your sleep ! We have stayed here for our five times in the past and the breakfast was always good but this time for some reason the breakfast was extremely cut down, apparently though this was reflected in the price of only 3 Euro but I never got an itemised bill so have no idea. Rooms now starting to look a bit dated with the paintwork, which could have been covered over in lockdown but they didn't. It has been this way for all of the six years previously. The beds are comfortable and has good parking which is free. If you are English or should I say prudish ☺️ then remember that the pool has a no clothes rule due to hygiene. The budget rooms are very budget and look more like workman tradesman's rooms, so rough and test that's all. Always opt for the deluxe rooms of you like a little classier room. There is always the suites of your budget can cover them.

Definitely not a 4* Hotel. Rather 2.5*. The rooms are quite old and worn down. Mine was quite dusty, stains everywhere and towels with holes in it. The view is rather nice (trees, water), but the adjacent street is very loud. Breakfast was moderate but without any vegan options (in the year 2022!). The spa area is decent and the staff was mostly helpful and friendly.

Good basic hotel about a 10 to 20 minute walk to a nearby shopping center or center of town. There is a good breakfast and dinner. My colleagues mentioned there was a good gym.

Very friendly and supportive staff, very clean rooms, we enjoyed our meal in the restaurant very much - I recommend the chef's choice. If we ever again in Bergen op Zoom, we will stay in the hotel again.

It was very run down, short staffed, the bar couldn't be opened due to lack of staff. carpets in the hotel were worn and in bad condition, discolored and patchy. The rooms were very poorly lit the lights were so dim and very few it was hard to see. The price and star rating of the hotel doesn't reflect the actual experience. On a positive note the staff are lovely and very friendly.

Mixed feelings, people try to cope the best they can with everything, but management should improve conditions for them and provide the tools necessary. To be clear nothing is bad or something. It is just it feels like this hotel should be able to perform 4 stars easily.

Awful hotel, highly recommend avoiding this hotel. We could not sleep, all night there were strange sounds from the ventilation system. at night, the temperature itself rose to +29. Audibility between numbers is not isolated. Dirty toilet and tattered walls. The pillows are not meant for sleeping, they are just a lump. The staff is not professional.

Very old rooms looks like from 80's. All night I heard voices coming from shower. I couldn't even get a proper shower because hot water flowed very very little. This is very low quality hotel for this price. Chairs were also dirty. I never stay this hotel again.

The rooms are worn out and not worth the 4* standards it claims. My room was changed trice before we could find one with no brockage. The price charged is exclusief the wellness, which could have served as a compensation but costs extra! The price- comfort ratio is ridiculous. I would n't recommend and if you have no choice, I'll advice you insist on having room 509!

Go for a walk before and preferably after eating. There are many places to sit inside, they are different....
