One of the best places i had food ever. The spare ribs , the chicken roja were mouthwatering. The desserts that we had were the best i have ever had in Bergen. The service the ambiance was so good. Felt like staying back for a while and yes we did after our food. Definitely worth it..

So we went to Salsa twice on our long weekend to Bergen. The first time we tried their burgers and the second time their combo share platter. The waiters are really nice and jovial, and the athmosphere is relaxed and easy. I really liked their burger, I found it juicy and with flavour, while my girlfriend said hers Brasileiro was ok. But she has a very high standard for burgers after living in Slovenia, so she hasn’t found any burger yet in Norway that compares. The combo share platter was served really nicely, but I would have loved more meat. Even if we ordered for two. There was many fried balls, but the meat was the best. It was fine, but I was still a bit hungry after (though I just couldn’t eat their W.T.F. balls, falaffel balls, as I found their smell and taste horrible. My girlfriend said it was just fine and ate hers, so that was just a difference in taste). One thing I found weird was that they did not tracking for Covid-19. They didn’t ask for our name and numbers, so I hope no customers come to them with korona. Amazing experience, good service and excellent food. I really felt like I was in Latin-America. Everything was homemade, and there where many vegan/other options that could be applied to the normal dishes! Really, an excellent little restaurant!!!

We were seen promptly and the waiter gave us some advice regarding which drinks and food we should order. We had the mussels and chilli bacon cheese balls. It was all very greasy. My husband had the chilli, which he liked, and I went for The Rassaca, which was recommended. It was swimming in grease and half way through I had to leave it as it was making me feel queasy. Drinks were OK although the margaritas aren't freshly made and get pulled from a machine. Once we got our food, we were ignored, and the staff seemed to talk amongst themselves, so trying to get their attention for the bill was frustrating. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

If you like your ribs to fall off the bone, Salsa is the place for you. Always high quality food every time I visit. A great atmosphere and friendly, welcoming staff makes this a must needed visit.

The food was good though (ordered the pig wings and the ressaca) both good and seasoned very well although the pork could have been more tender. Service was efficient. Prices? It’s ok. They have a good vibe with nice Spanish songs. The menu seems quite rich. We chose Peruvian rice dish with chicken, veggies, cashews and el cabron burger. I expected a bit more authenticity from the place but although the food was okay good it was definitely not a wow. The fries served alongside the burger was probably frozen potato, the bread was average, the meat was decent. The rice dish included almost raw onion which did not go that well with it I would say. Also, tasted a cocktail with mezcal which was a bit too light and not so interesting.

Went there last minute and the staff were so nice to find us the table even though they were fully booked. A very big choice on the menu so we weren't entirely sure what to order first!
