Vidden between Ulriken and Fløyen is one of the most popular tours in Bergen. Beautiful view over Bergen and the region. You can start and end the tour by taking the Ulrikensbanen (walking up popular trail "Oppstemten" which consists of 750 of Sherpa stairs straight up) or the Fløibanen (can walk from city center up the mountain) or you can walk down to the centre. Between these two beautiful city mountains lies "Vidden" and from here you can see the fjords around Bergen and the archipelago beyond. From the top of Ulriken and over Vidden towards Fløyen, it is well signposted and there are many cairns to follow. On a fine day, you can enjoy the beautiful view all the way to Folgefonna. Estimated time: 5 hours (without stops and making 📸 for me takes 3 h) Length: 15 km Must have good 👞 and alot of water !!!

Very beautiful and varied route between two of the seven mountains of Bergen. He did everything for us in a short amount of time, which changed the views a lot while also changing the landscape. We did it from Ulriken to Foyen and it is what I recommend the most. Starting at the Montana stop and ending in the city center. It took us a long time to do it because it was very bad in some points and it is not an easy smooth road. It is very well marked, yes. Normally it could take from three to six hours. It also depends on whether you take the funicular or the rack railway, it is approximately 15 or 20km. Recommended for people who like hiking and sports, not for anyone. It is very worth it.

Quite a nice hike when you are in Bergen. We did the hike from Ulriken to Floyen. It's a bit busy since all the locals also love to come up here for a Sunday hike. Good thing is you can park your car at the Ulriken station, hike to Floyen, get down and do some sightseeing and take the bus back to Ulriken.

Not an easy hike but some great views. Floyen to Ulriken is 15km across the mountains, relatively easy to follow the main path although near Ulriken it's a bit less clear. Lots of locals seemed to find it easy, but expect it to take around 5 hours if you are an average walker. Lots of ups and downs and wet areas, make sure you have the right shoes and take food/water as there is nothing along the way.

One of the most beautiful hikes I've done so far. Worth it, but not suitable for inexperienced hikers.

The Ulriken to Floyen hike is stunning with spectacular scenic views of both Bergen and the surrounding fjordes and mountains. It is also a genuinely exciting hike with a rocky trail that will have you carefully picking the best path and working up a sweat across its 15km. The locals breeze through it with a hop, skip and a jump. You can get the Cable Car up and the Funicular down. I recommend finishing the walk in Floyen where it concludes with a gentle downward slope on a flat path through a nice shady forest.

It is quite a long hike (ca 4 hrs) and you need good shoes for this, no sneakers. Do it on a nice day (check the forecast, fx at yr.no), otherwise drop it!

(Translated by Google) Fantastic trip. It takes some time so remember to eat and drink and dress according to the weather. Beautiful when there is sun and blue sky over Bergen. (Original) Fantastisk fin tur. Det tar litt tid så husk mat og drikke og kle deg etter været. Nydelig når det er sol og blå himmel over Bergen.

(Translated by Google) For real Vikings! In the end, you get a little tired of beauty. Necessarily in good shoes, water and a snack (Original) Для настоящих викингов! В конце немного устаешь от красоты. Обязательно в хорошей обуви, вода и перекус
