A very nice Restaurant directly next to one of Frances oldest water canals, and build in to the City fortifications. The food was very tasty, nicely presented and exactly what i was looking for for my evening meal. Menu only in french, so let Google translate for you

Food quite all right. Very nice crepe and cocktails. Meat dishes quite heavy. We had two hairs - one in food and one in drink... that's why 4 starts not 5

This is a great place. Food is good quality and tasty. Nice waiters. Mostly only french speaking, but we got one who understood us. Menus only in franch as well, but it's not an issue. Planty of parking around. Place is located near the water channel. You can seat outdoors or inside. Both are nice.

Nice little gem on the river. Need to use Google translate to read the menus and very little English spoken, but nevertheless, a great little treat if visiting the area. 🙂

The food was very delicious! The ambiance is really beautiful. The service was extremely friendly and kept asking if everything was alright👍 Really nice people! We think the prices are reasonable. We would highly recommend La Taverne Vauban Restaurant!

Had the most beautiful meal tonight, the restaurant is fabulous, stunning decor and the staff are an absolute delight, nothing too much trouble. The English/ French speaking waiter was fantastic, taking time out to talk to us and very entertaining. We loved him. Great food and service, the waitresses spoke English which was a massive help. Good prices and open more often than many in bergues, highly recommended

A very nice terrace restaurant which is located between the old town wall and the canal. Friendly and efficient staff and a nice atmosphere. We ordered the Vauban Burger and Le Welsh, both of which were excellent. Will definitely visit again.
