ADDENDUM: THE OPERATOR IS TRYING TO HAVE MY REVIEW DELETED! The range of equipment and dumbbells is okay, which is of course one of the most important criteria for a gym. But unfortunately that was it for the positive list. I can only agree with the many critical reviews. A hygiene concept simply does not exist here. The management dismisses any criticism and points to the daily cleaning carried out. I would be interested to know what was agreed in the contract with the cleaning service Must be pretty clear. The beverage system is constantly defective or has limited functionality. The contract with this service provider probably doesn't look any better. How often is the system actually cleaned? Would have to be disclosed. At the latest when there is an official inspection. Communication between management and operational employees is apparently not part of the company culture. You notice it at every opportunity. There's a lot more, but if that's not enough for you, you can read the many other reviews in which people vent.

Large studio, versatilely equipped with relatively affordable rates. Unfortunately very poorly managed: cleanliness in the changing rooms without words, cleaning plan is signed but not cleaned. Toilets have been partly out of order for months, many things are broken, handles, etc. No supervision, the “proll bosses” who act important and make video calls in all areas and sometimes reprimand each other loudly. Women don't necessarily feel comfortable there, as there are a lot of "young" boys hanging out in cliques and gawking. Management can't necessarily do anything about that, but there are certain things you have to do as a club so that it can be a place for everyone to train. There's a better way, dear FitOne. Update December 5th, 2023: An attempt is being made to delete these and other factual reviews. Better to improve the studio than to sugarcoat the reviews.

As many other's have mentioned, Fit/One has unilaterally extended my contract for an extra year after I have cancelled. I cancelled my contract in February 2021, more than 3 months notice to my original date of contract ending and they have still been taking funds from my account. THIS IS ILLEGAL! I have written several emails and have made several calls. No answer. They keep pointing to going to their member portal which I have also done repeatedly for communications with no response from my last request. I have now started the legal process to recuperate my money. UPDATE When I check my account, they now have EXTENDED it to April 2022! Even after acknowledging that I have cancelled the contract formally in February. What a joke. I look forward to the legal complaint that I will send to them. Stay away at all costs!

Horrible service, in your place, I would choose another gym to ensure a good experience and enjoy pleasant workouts. I joined the gym under the promotion "change your gym" (or something similar) and according to the promotion the first 6 months should be for free, but they started to charge my account from the first day, i complained but i was completely ignored, i didnt have more options that treating them with legal actions for them to respect the contract. (see screenshot). I signed for a VIP membership to be able to work out in the small VIP area, but I am not able because the VIP area is always crowded by people who pays the basic membership, I have informed in the entrance desk at gym countless time about the problem but they just ignored my complain, and I texted the customer service in the "customer area" of their app, but i never got an answer, mee and other people have informed the trainers, the gym manager , we have sent emails that never got replied....it shows a horrible lack of proffesionalism and respect toward the customers. Once I was training in the VIP area with a friend and two guys, who just sneake in the VIP area daily, with the permission of the trainers insulted me because they wanted to stay alone in the area and when i complained the treated me with giving me a beat down, i contacted via "member area" the customer service about that still waiting for reply. About the hygiene, they dont have any cleaning staff, therefore, the people working in the desk have to leave their duties to go to clean the entire gym including the toilets and after that they go back to sell protein bars. sometimes i checked how long they take to clean the entire huge installations, and sometimes it was under 30 mins, so we can asumme they dont do a good job, and to test it, once I put a paper in the bottle holder of a machine and it was there for few weeks. (picture attached) The trainers and employees never say hello or goodbye to customers, if somebody talk to them or ask something, they dont even look at the customers, they prefer keep chatting on phones and helping customers. April the 20th 2022 at 6:47 (picture attached) the girl working in the reception just started to take a nap in the reception desk in front of the customers, for that reason i was able to take a picture of her sleeping. They dont tide up the woking out areas, leaving the dumbbells everywhere and the dumbbells racks completely empty, banks in the middle of nowhere... (picture attached) In the facilities, there are always many broken things, such as machines, dumbbells, toilets, and the management always takes months to repair them. (pictures attached) In resumen: horrible experience, full of bad experiences, so from my point of view it is a waste of money and in berlin there are many gyms much better such as fitx or holmes place. so consider if u want to have a pleasant and nice workouts or just want to waste ur money in fitone

I deleted my old review and adjusted the rating downwards again. I previously wrote that in over 15 years of being a member of gyms, I had never seen a studio where so little attention was paid to hygiene. And there were many who already had negative reviews on Google because of hygiene. I also responded negatively to the clientele in the gym. Now it seems as if the operators have also given up. At least I've seen advertisements on Facebook a few times that a new studio manager is being sought in Schöneberg. I was back today and nothing has gotten better in my week-long absence. The urinals have been left unattended for months now. The door in the men's toilet hasn't had a handle for weeks and the hairdryers have also stopped working. The sales machine has now also been added, so that only the showers actually work at all. Sure, if people are throwing chewing gum and paper towels into urinals, pouring protein shakes over hairdryers, and rioting to the point of damaging property, then I shouldn't have to explain again why the clientele is difficult. But they also do this because you haven't done anything meaningful against these people in all these years. If I have a concept and see that it doesn't work, then I have to change something about it. If I notice that nonsense is always happening somewhere without being present in a facility with 5 floors (!), then I shouldn't limit myself to just having one person on the ground floor. Even if this means the contribution would have to be increased. So over time everyone with a bit of sense has been scared away and even a new studio management won't be able to change that much. It's a shame, I really liked it at first Addendum: Fit/One or someone on their behalf also tried to block this post through Google. (12/02/2023)

A large and spacious gym with everything you need The downside is that there is a lot of dust in almost every corner and it gives the impression that there is no regular cleaner. In addition, I liked less that they show a price on the website of 35 euros and after you fill in details and credit information, the price jumps to 49 euros. It is nicer to show a final price from the beginning. All in all a good place, especially if they invest a little in cleaning

Nice machines but everything else is really bad. Dirty toilets, smell all over the place, no air conditioning, people who don’t put weights back etc..

The devices are good. There is also enough space there. But the order really leaves a lot to be desired. The weights are almost never in the right place. The same applies to the brackets in the free weight area. The snack machine could also be repaired. The toilets could be cleaner. Edit: Hi, Thanks for the answer, but I don't see why responsibility should be shifted to individual customers. I'm not here to smear other people. LG Edit #2: I don't have the feeling that the criticism isn't really taken seriously. I have never experienced such vandalism. Many lockers in the back row of the men's locker room don't work. There seems to be mold on the ceiling in the shower. In the evening, the entire floor of the toilet is usually wet and dirty and the paper dispenser is empty. That's why I lowered the rating.

Friendly team in a bright, open space and multiple floors full of excellent equipment to play with. I especially love having access to the women’s workout room (great view!) and the sauna, which is a lifesaver in the wintertime. Excellent value for money.

Out of 5 stars, only one remained: termination in January on April 30th, 2020 and long before Corona. Now the end of my contract will simply be postponed to July 31, 2020. The studio was not accessible for 1.5 months but the contract is being extended by 3 months?! Debt collection is now being threatened even though I have lodged an objection to the first and second reminders. FitOne will definitely lose some members as a result of this approach. Addendum 06/23: Debt collection hasn't been activated yet and I haven't heard anything further from the studio. However, an attempt is now being made to have Google delete the review. Probably in the hope that people won't respond to Google's email and that the negative review can be deleted within 7 days. Addendum 02/24 Google wanted to put the review back online, but somehow that didn't work. Therefore, I copied the text and readjusted the rating. Let's wait and see how long it takes until FitOne wants to have this review deleted too

I’m there since a month already. The elevator doesn’t work for the whole month, drinking dispensers are mostly empty in ground floor and top floor. Two stars are due to the nice team.

Terrible customer service, never and ever you can get a response to your emails/messages/comments. I had (they still say i have extended the contract, but i did not) a VIP Gold membership, and private classes were either cancelled or were very bad. Which makes you stop fighting for it. Dirty facilities, empty beverage dispensers… Probably now they will write under this “we are sorry that you were unsatisfied” and will do NOTHING!!!

Filthy Gym and COVID Irresponsible! [Pictures Updated 26 July 2021] This review is about the Schöneberg branch of Fit/One 1. On arrival, just outside of the gym doors one is greeting by a mass of cigarette butts and discarded face masks. Just the visual one wants when starting a workout. It is obvious that the outside area has not been swept for weeks or months. 2. The mask rule is not enforced inside the gym whatsoever. At least half the members walk around without masks on in the common areas. 3. Even the gym staff largely ignore mask protocol by HABITUALLY speaking to customers outside of the contained reception area without a mask on. Not exactly model behaviour. 4. ‘Hygiene stations’ are regularly out of disinfectant spray and paper towels. In a touch that serves only to mislead members, each station had a ’12 point maintenance checklist’ that is meant to be performed every two hours but typically I see a gym attendant tick all 12 boxes for the last few hours – do nothing more – and leave the spray bottles and paper towels empty. 5. Hand sanitizer stations – are regularly empty. 6. Even outside of a pandemic, this gym is the dirtiest gym I have ever been to. Every machine is coated with a film of dust and grime. And, regardless of the hour I attend, I have never seen one cleaner working. And having also arrived early in the morning, it is manifest that nothing is being done overnight. At a time like this, the machines/weights should be cleaned frequently. 7. Though good ventilation is one of the known and effective defenses against COVID, even in amenable weather, the windows are almost never unlocked (which is easily done) by the gym staff. 8. Though not COVID related, the free weights area is shambolic. Weights are usually scattered around the room and they are never on their numbered place on the rack. So to find two dumbbells one has to walk around the gym looking for a matching pair. Admittedly, the member lack of consideration is directly contributory, but the gym always has the option to enforce a ‘re-rack’ rule – or arrange to have the weights put in their proper place by closing time or opening time. Sadly, it seems like management has completely abdicated in its responsibilities. I also think the risk of a transmission of COVID at this gym is not insignificant and I would recommend that anybody concerned about health and hygiene might want to find another gym.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Everyone is getting ripped off money because they continue accumulating debit cost even after you finish your membership. I received a letter saying if I don't pay for other months i 7 days it will be sent to debt collection, even though staff told me I don't need to cancel anything. I tried talking to them, but gym staff is clueless - they sent an email to the finance department to investigate but it's been 5 days now and I'll end up having to pay the money because I don't want to ruin my SCHUFA score. Even the gym itself is ok, be prepared to pay extra once you finish your membership.

As many others are reporting, I am also in the situation where they have extended my contract by a year despite already canceling it. They are continuing to take money and not responding to any emails. Definitely do not join this gym

Why am I paying extra for access to the sauna when there is nothing stopping those who don't pay extra from using it? At this point should I change to a basic subscription and continue my sauna use as heretofore? I'm all for equal rights and open access but can't justify paying extra for something available to all....look forward to the reimbursement from the months I was extra for nothing ✌🏽

really rude staff.....very badly trained and some members behaves really badly with large group of people occupying machines and making loud noises and leave weights randomly... the class started ok when the gym first opened, but the trainer keeps changing, few months after the gym opening and many people signed up, they swapped all the amazing trainers away, so I guess those trainers were just there to lure people into signing the contract when the gym first opened.... for the price it is really a rip off....BAD!

I am having terrible experience with this Gym. I paid them fees during lockdown with good heart of helping local business. But they did not terminate my contract even though I sent them termination notice 3 months in advance. Later they approved to terminate on 30.06.2021 instead of 30.03.2021 and sent me confirmation. Sadly this is still not the case as I came to know yesterday after visiting the Gym in person. In addition their representative has no desire to talk, explain or listen to the issue. Disgusted. This gym is not up to the standards of any modern gym. The way the building is set-up has a lot of potential, but it is not utilized the way it is supposed to. Where to begin? All the areas are dirty and sometimes machines are out of order for weeks. The free weight area is dirty and the weights are all over the place. This has a number of reasons, such as the members simply not cleaning up after themselves. The gym could put in effort to change that culture of slouching, but it does nothing to change this issue, therefore it remains the same. General rules of any gym, like using proper footwear etc. are not followed. People walking around in flip-flops and without shirts, you would think you are on a beach, except a beach is much cleaner. But the worst part are the locker rooms and the toilets. It is simply disgusting. The toilets smell like they haven't been cleaned in weeks, and I have reasons to believe they haven't. If you can find an alternative gym, I would get that one.

Enough for simple training. The staff is super nice and friendly and always tries their best to ensure that the customer is satisfied. They have a lot of Rex for squats, deadlifts etc. Also awesome Hammer Strangs machines. The cleanliness is okay. Price performance is quite good. Unfortunately, equipment or toilets are often broken. Unfortunately, the members rarely put away the dumbbells or the plates, but the staff can't do anything about that. I trained there for a long time and I still go there when I'm in town.

Great women's area with a great view, which makes training even better. BUT: the hygiene is a disaster. I can live with the dust on the devices. The sanitary facilities are bad. Dirt, mold, limescale. The photos are just a selection. The cabinets are only cleaned every few months, if at all, apart from the fact that most of them are broken. The health department It would be a real pleasure... In addition, in the women's sector, few people stick to tidying up the devices after use. The equipment at least meets my needs and the staff is nice. Hence two stars and not just one.

You will have to learn to treat people with respect. The redhead lady at the reception was incredibly rude and uneducated and treated other employees badly. Until changes are made I will discourage everyone I know from joining this gym! 0/10

So good to have found that Fitness Studio - more than a Gym 100% !!! - with SaunaArea, clean Showers, huge Space & Equipment (on various Floors) for all sorts of Work-Out. Courses, too.

It's a fine fitness studio, directly at the tube. That's the big advantage. The stuff is friendly but not responsible!! The devices are not serviced and are sometimes unusable for weeks. The sauna and showers are currently out of order. The toilets stink and are not cleaned regularly. Complaints are completely superfluous. There is still a lot of room for improvement in the studio. But it is suitable for all athletes who do not care about the above.

Disgraceful scam of a company. Have email records from them that I cancelled since I was only in Berlin for two months (they even offered me "free months" to entice me back. Contact was terminated yet they are still billing me. I will not be letting this happen, however the headache itself certainly isn't nice. Nice gym facility tho ngl.

The gym is very complete, large and spacious, but it has a very annoying problem. The members (mostly men) leave the weights lying around the gym, they don't put them away when they no longer need them, and the equipment is full of absurd weights that I always have to remove to do my exercises. And of course the dumbbells are always in the wrong place. I have complained more than once but nothing has changed. Although the staff is attentive, the regulars are very rude. Maybe it would be a good idea to punish those who do this because it seems like everyone does whatever they want since there are no consequences. There is a women's weight room that is well equipped and organized (they are women, after all), but not all equipment is available. If visitors were polite and there were more staff to monitor this that would be great. At the moment I am very disappointed.

I love my gym has sauna, Solarium, massage room and is not that crowded normally and lot of options to use between machines, weights and cables. Sometimes sauna broke down and need reparation.

The best gym I've been to so far. Both Welnnes and simply top options for pure pumping. Well equipped, large and still clean. Prices of 25-45€ according to the companionship package are absolutely reasonable.

In the last 21 years of fitness I have tried in Berlin 5 other gyms. I must say that this gym is by far the best. It is very big on 5 floors. You have plenty of exercise machines for cardio, bodybuilding and fitness. You have there a huge free weight area with all sizes of dumbbells. There is a separate Vip area where you can go as a gold or platinum member. The prizes are decent for all the stuff you get there. Sauna, massage rooms, solarium big changing rooms, on every floor drink dispenser, one coffee machine and many things more.

No mineral drinks available, only water comes out of the machine, even though you pay extra money for it; Some of the devices are broken and are not being repaired or replaced, totally dangerous, I injured myself. Elevator has been broken for weeks and still not repaired, ladies area is on the 5th floor, Permanently dirty showers and toilets, simply disgusting, staff don't care about anything! In addition, some of the staff are very unfriendly; if you have questions, you get unfriendly answers! I had to experience this for 6 months - now I'm definitely changing the gym! I'm very disappointed with Fit One in general!

Something can always be defective. However, in this studio it takes several months until something is repaired or restored. That can't be !

You have to pay for water.. After 17:00, the drongoloids come out to play so be prepared to hear the sound of weights crashing on the machines and overly enthusiastic grunting. EDIT: I should have read all the other comments about trying to leave the contract. Tried several times, with proof to explain that I no longer live in Germany and they still don't accept this and bill me every month. They also refuse to give me the end date of the contract itself and I bet they will automatically renew it.

I was a monthly member for august, canceled my membership the day before september, they are still asking for the membership fee of september. Been dealing with this for three months bow they refuse to simply understand. I even canceled it in person, at the info desk it's not my fault if your system simply sucks. This place is a scam stay clear

Practically no classes, so called virual classes non existing. Classes like cycling non existing - even tho there is well equipped room there with bikes (?) very popul body attack non existing, superfit is much better, we regret that we changed the club. additionally, men's/mixed sauna stinks so much that it's hard to believe, it's never cleand or aired at night. Men who visit it never shower before, and come straight from the gym sweated, dont even use towers, don't even bother to take off underwear. No one take care of this. Just have no words. But - if u only use gym the equipment/machines are good. So 2 stars.

They took advantage of the pandemic, to extend contracts and charge for the closed months at the same time. Funny, they bend the law to accomodate idiotic policies. After everyone obviously started complaining, they started avoiding communication, and make you go through their web portal to communicate with them. like many other people in here, everyone has the same concern, extension of contract without consent, and charging service without being able to give service (Pandemic). I sent now a threat to legal dispute if they do not fix my contract end date. I would 100% stay away.

It’s a 5 floor building with almost everything you need to burn some calories. Sometimes you can smell trash close to drinks area but not always. The massage room is great though :)

Great location. Very well equipped gym. Some staff are super friendly/approachable/professional (Valentino, young blonde guy, guy with black hair/crewcut, shorter guy with Black curly hair) others look like they hate the customers (don’t say hello back for example or just looked annoyed if you need anything). Changing room good. Worst thing about this gym is some of the trashy customers…. Pretentious, arrogant, rude, & dirty! (Saw one guy washing his feet in the sink, people drop litter on the floor, hog machines). All in all the best gym Ive found so far in berlin.

Always have an excellent experience at this gym. The service is always really helpful, I mostly speak to a man named Daniel, I think. Definitely deserves my 5 stars⭐️

It often looks chaotic, especially in the evening, because some of the customers don't clean up used bars, weights, etc. Unfortunately, the staff doesn't always do it better, so when I was doing squats, a dumbbell bar that had been left lying there was placed right in my path. But if you don't have a problem waiting for a piece of equipment every now and then and having to look for your things together, you have a lot of affordable training options here.

Have been going to this for 7 months now. It’s a nice place with good people around with good vibes. Clean and hygienic 5/5. Sauna is really nice.

Hammer Strength Gym. It has 5 floors with every possible thing a gym could need. Friendly staff that let us have a free day pass. For a 5/5 I think the gym would need more workers to manage it appropriately. Clients don't rerack weights after they use it leaving everything a mess.

Large, sometimes a bit worn but good value for money

The machines are not clean. The internet hasn't been working for two days. The employees are not cooperative. Yesterday I forgot my fitness card and they wanted me to pay 2 euros to give me a temporary card.

Equipment broken for months, elevator broken for months, often no drinks, no soap... the studio is becoming more and more dilapidated. A pity

I would actually want to give it 2 1/2 stars. I have been at this studio for over 3 years and unfortunately the overall quality has steadily deteriorated. Basically it is a great studio in terms of the number, selection and availability of equipment and free weights. The equipment as such is top. But the care, hygiene and maintenance, especially of the changing room and the toilets, have become a catastrophe in the last six months. Every club toilet is cleaner than the men's toilet. It stinks, is dirty and totally filthy. Often it is no longer even possible to wash your hands because soap and paper towels are only replenished sporadically. 30% of the wardrobes cannot be used because they cannot be closed. Repairs to defective devices take months. Since I've now received a price increase for all of this, I'll be changing studios. Very unfortunate.

I made a one-year contract for my 16-year-old son. They simply extended the contract without consent and without notification, even though termination was submitted. As a result, we received a debt collection letter for 390 euros and now the icing on the cake is that we have paid it and what are we doing with the new invoice For the new month, it's better to train in the forest 👌

Gym's rather good, but stuff doesn't warn, you can't pay cash, only card. And couldn't help me. I haven't got a card, but cash. Why do I have to ask strangers in a queue to pay for me, why stuff can't do it? I lost my time, went home, it's a trash.

The service of gym is worst. In-case if you have any issue related to contract or payments or any query, the staff doesn't help and you are asked to contact customer support and unfortunately they don't reply at all.

Nice gym with several good quality machines.... The only advice is to instruct the clients to put the weights and dumbbells back in order after using them

The best place I found in Berlin. You will enjoy a wonderful view while training. It is a very big place with a lot of different machines, a box training area, massage rooms and a spacious sauna. I absolutely love it !

In itself a great offer, large area, lots of space, rarely overcrowded. However, I really regret that I took the gold contract because the massage tables included in the price are more broken than intact and in general the studio is in a bad condition, from missing door handles to locked urinals and changing rooms/showers Cleanliness and hygiene are reluctant to use. The offer of being able to box was one of the reasons why I signed the contract, but unfortunately the punching bags were missing for weeks or over a month. Now, since the gold offer isn't fully fulfilled for me anyway (even though I pay for it), I would like to go down to silver, since it's almost €50 per month. are too much for this incompletely fulfilled offer, but unfortunately the contract is automatically extended by up to 2 years (which I would prefer to terminate without notice) and I have to pay a processing fee of €30. It's very frustrating at times and I regret signing a contract with this gym.

The gym is fine, but... Terrible, terrible, terrible service! They don't care about customers. If you encounter any problems, they'll take your money and prefer to lose you forever. It's not a customer-oriented place. Highly not recommended, or if you decide to sign up, be extremely careful with your actions regarding your account and your money.

As of March 2024! WiFi has not been working for over a month. The elevator has been broken for over a month. The simplest consumables such as paper, soap, etc. are constantly missing. The men's toilet smells like a sewer. Broken devices stay broken for months until someone repairs them. If you are looking for a clean studio with a pleasant atmosphere, you are unfortunately in the wrong place here. I'm now really wondering what I'm spending money on here every month!

And recently the membership fee increased again so that the “quality” stays the same. What would you have to pay so that the studio doesn't become permanently defective? So that the quality is maintained? Or even improved?

It's gotten really bad, everything is dirty at 8 a.m., the showers are full of lint and hair, toilets without paper and the soap is always empty. Hygiene = 0 After using the toilet, you basically can't even wash your hands properly before going back to the equipment. When you enter the studio, there is no hello or anything, the employees change every week. I can now only advise against anyone registering there. If something is defective it takes months. The toilet door handle was off (2 screws), which took about 3 months to fix. The devices are also all dirty and sticky. So have fun training...
