I agreed to Plantation in Istanbul because of a summer offer. I already suspected that it could be a bit of a scam. The transfer at the airport was easy. 🟡 First of all… Dr. I never got to see Balwi. 🟢 The preliminary examinations all went very well. 🟡 The only thing is that they offered me to insert a few more grafts because it would look better. 👉 So there it was, the farmer's trap. The bill increased by a whopping €500. By the way, that's what happened that day for everyone who arrived at the same time. 🔴 It was stupid that my file was swapped with other patients three times. This even happened on the day of the operation. ⚠️ This is serious because apparently only I noticed the error and because the anesthesia is measured and administered based on the files. 🔴 Maybe that's why two people had problems with the anesthesia? On two occasions, employees frantically ran to patients. One of them came with me and told me afterwards what happened. That wasn't good. Sorry Elithair. 🟢 🟢 The surgery went great for me. Mine took over 8 hours. 🔴 In between I got a disgusting cheap burger and soggy fries from the microwave. I felt sick. Hunger drove it in. 🟢 The accommodation was ok. 🔴 Apart from the fact that you often bang your head against the low-hanging TV. This is reprehensible, especially after the operation. I have no idea why the TVs in some rooms were mounted so low and incorrectly. 🔴 The food was like being in the hospital. It was occasionally tasty but the portions were more like a diet. About the hair. 🟢🟢 Yes, they look great. It takes over 15 months for the areas on the back of the head to become sealed. 🔴 The app is lousy. To date, errors have not been corrected. At times you couldn't upload any pictures. I'm wondering how the guarantee will work. ⚠️ CONCLUSION: If the processes worked better it would give a full 5 stars because of the quality of the plantation. However, there were dangerous organizational deficiencies that clouded the picture somewhat. ‼️ So make sure your file is correct. ✅ yes, I would go to Elithair again at any time.

At the moment I'm not satisfied at all. Everything was sold well in the telephone sales discussions, it was particularly important to me that the hairline was set as low as possible. It's so high up that I still have a receding hairline and there's no improvement. That wasn't worth the money. In addition, the app hasn't been working for days, so I can't upload the photos either. I'm sure I'll now be excluded from the warranty. Everything is not satisfactory. I wouldn't do it again under any circumstances.

I had two hair transplants there and I was happy of having it there twice. They grew a lot, from renting half of the hospital floor to 8 floor standalone clinic. I was impressed how well they are organised. That's how they can deal with so many patients everyday. At every single moment of my second hair transplant visit, there was a person responsible for taking proper care of me. My translator and host there was very welcoming and helpful. The only disadvantage was that instead of having hotel room for rest, we were accommodated in hospital rooms without possibility of locking room when leaving, with quite poor windows letting all the noise and wind from outside to pass inside what really influenced the comfort of sleep and rest. I guess this is one of the best turkish hair transplant clinic and I can honestly recommend it.

Booked multiple appointments and the consultant didn't even show up. Finally when I spoke to someone there was no interest in my request.

The first contact with elithair was over the phone: I had a really friendly conversation there in which I asked all of my open questions and they were answered in great detail. A thumbs up for that alone! When I arrived in Istanbul (that was on December 4th, 2023) I was picked up with other people in a small limousine, which was great customer service. When I arrived at the clinic, I and another customer from Germany were taken directly to the hotel's own clinic instead of to the hotel, which was 15 minutes away. We didn't have to pay any extra charge here, which I thought was great! The next day some tests were done on us, blood tests, ultrasound test of the scalp, microscopic view of the hair roots. This generally took place at a very professional level, everything was sterile and very clean. What I found a bit unfortunate was that the interpreter spoke somewhat broken German and only understood some of my questions afterwards. The ladies on site didn't always understand English and that applies, for example. also on the operation itself. Many hours passed between all the tests and the actual operation, which is why I advise you to take something to read with you. The rush is particularly high in the winter months and there can be long waiting times. When it came time to pay, I had the impression that they were being a bit strict with me here, for example when I said that the 200 missing euros were still in my room and that I could go and get them quickly, that was then no problem. But I saw that as just a small blemish; it was my own fault that I didn't have all the money with me. The operation itself went very well, there were no complications, the ladies were friendly, even if communication was not always easy. The food that was served after the 4-hour operation was very tasty and plentiful, and I was really looking forward to it. I was treated well, I was always accompanied to the toilet because all the infusions meant I often had to go around the corner, but that wasn't a problem. For the operation itself I give it 8/10 points, 2 points deducted because I think there was a little lack of empathy towards the patient, especially before the sedation was injected. But this probably wouldn't be so easy to implement because so many people are being treated every day, so I don't think you can expect that. The next day the bandage was removed, disinfected and the appropriate medication and headache tablets were given. It all happened very routinely, which is why, unlike the operation, I wasn't at all nervous anymore. I found the aftercare to be really easy, especially thanks to the help with the app. There you were well informed, reminded of what you should take again and when you can blow-dry again or, for example, go to the hairdresser. This interaction was really awesome. Overall, I can say that I am very satisfied with the hair transplant at elithair in Istanbul. It took me several bastards to dare to take this step, but now I'm glad I had the courage. My increasingly bald head was eating away at my self-confidence so much that I was performing less well at work or had less energy for the day. I can therefore only recommend having an operation there too.

Initially, I was promised on the phone that a single hair transplant would be enough to regain my full head of hair. However, it was only after I arrived in Turkey that I learned that at least two transplants would be required. This revelation was disappointing as it only took place at the on-site clinic, although the rest of the process went smoothly. The surgery itself was painless and the transplants were performed successfully, although the donor area was affected a little too much. Nevertheless, only half of the agreed scope was carried out and the end result therefore did not meet my expectations. Based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend the clinic. Edit: I remembered that I would have to pay more than planned on site. Edit 2: In response to Elithair's answer, all I can say is that there was only ONE telephone consultation and in this I was euphorically assured that ONE treatment would be enough and I would then have a full head of hair again.

I got the operation back in 2019 unfortunately, the operation didn't work on me. The results are like before, after taking a lot of drugs or using doctors products. Also PRP was the same... besides that the doctor and the nurses - translation or hotel etc. were very friendly!

I had my hair transplant 20 days ago. The experience was very positive from the beginning to the end! I have got picked up from the airport as scheduled and brought to the clinic. I had the possibility to spend the night there to get the hair transplant the day after. Also the way back to the airport was well organised and on time. In overall all the experience was positive. A good knowledge of the English language is not mandatory but can be helpful from time to time.

For those who still have their hair transplant ahead of them, take a lot of patience!! Here is my experience report from my recent (December 15th) transplant: It was originally agreed that I would receive my preliminary diagnosis on Tuesday and that the operation would take place on Friday in the early hours of the morning. Since I wanted to explore Istanbul beforehand, there was a short stopover. The transfer from the airport went smoothly, but a long wait of four hours began at the clinic before blood was taken and an ECG was carried out. I was scheduled to return on Thursday to mark the areas for donors and recipients. Unfortunately, everything seemed a bit chaotic, and after two hours I learned that the final measures would be carried out on Friday - a free trip. Since I chose the DeepSleep method, my last meal was already scheduled for Thursday at 7:00 p.m., with the expectation of having surgery at 7:00 a.m. When I arrived on Friday I felt again that I had been forgotten. After several inquiries, the hairlines were drawn by Dr. Balwi around 2:00 p.m. At 3:15 p.m. I finally ran out of patience and after my protest I was unexpectedly placed on the operating table within 5 minutes. From this point on the situation improved significantly. The highly professional team responded to my questions empathetically. The surgery lasted until 2:15 a.m. and I was back at the hotel at 2:30 a.m. After packing my things, I returned to the clinic at 5:30 a.m. and despite delays, was able to catch my flight on time. Only thanks to this positive turn of events would I go the route with Elithair again. Unfortunately, their rapid growth has led to a lack of customer focus, and everyone on site seemed visibly annoyed 😕 To everyone who is about to have their hair transplant: 8 hours of waiting time is normal. Don't stress yourself out like I did. For me it was truly a nervous test.

I have been researching for a while before deciding to choose Elithair. I have just landed in Berlin after 3 days of a very well organized trip to Istambul to have a hair transplant surgery with doctor Balwi’s team. A team which has exceeded all my expectations. Johanna was my Spanish point of contact through the overall booking, information related to the trip and the surgery, even accommodations reschedules and pre-surgery set shipment issues. She took care of every small caveat and kept the communication flowing from the point of contact until my safe and sound arrival to Istambul. Mari was my personal interpreter (spanish-turkish) through the whole process during my time in the hospital. She was very kind, empathetic and detail driven. I attended ElitHair for a DHI hair transplant in Istanbul from 26/06/22 to 28/06/22. What I loved about Elithair is that they were in constant communication with me, before the transplant providing excellent information over the phone, email and via WhatsApp. Whenever I had a question or ran in to trouble they always put me at ease. The staff on the phone were exceptional, specifically Nathalia in Berlin who was in contact with me before the transplant process, very friendly and once again providing great information and advice, and Daniel in the UK, who was kind enough to contact me after my transplant to make sure everything was going well. The process was very smooth, I arrived in Istanbul and had a short wait for my shuttle to the hair clinic/hospital. They reminded me me of the entire process, and although I had complete trust in their abilities, I imagine it would have been very reassuring to someone who would have been feeling stressed about the procedure. They have a multitude of translators for many languages it seems, though their primary customers seem to be German. There was no problems with communication during my procedure. The team conducting my transplant told me what they were doing, as they were doing it. They did not speak much English, but I appreciated that they were chatting among themselves during the operation, I much prefer this to 9 hours of silence. Regarding the procedure itself, I was getting 3300 grafts taken from the donor area at the back of my head. This took around 3.5 to 4 hours. There was some initial delays as one piece of their equipment was not working properly, but they fixed this quite quickly. I was injected with anaesthetic at many points around the donor area, and the procedure was relatively painless, I found myself daydreaming at times. During the implantation phase of the operation (crown and front hairline) I did experience some pain, but the surgeons and assistants took care of this when I brought it to their attention. This took another 4 hours or so. Once the operation was completed, they had me wait in the hospital for some time to make sure I was feeling okay then sent me via a shuttle to the hotel again. On the final day I was advised how to wash and treat my hair for the short to mid-term and the team answered any questions I had. Overall excellent experience and I would highly recommend ElitHair. I will post a future review upon seeing the full results of my transplant in the next year or so. There are many more postitive things I would like to say about ElitHair, but I would not like to turn a review into a book.

Not only in my case but also from many friends who were also patients, I hear the same stories - false promises and unreliability are the order of the day. If you have a problem, it's best to insist that you get an answer straight away, because you won't get the promised call back anyway, or you'll constantly have to deal with a new person who then acts as if they want to help you . If you present yourself as the market leader, then I don't understand why you even need such a cheap scam. Instead of simply being honest and not giving customers false hopes, which then end in exactly these kinds of reviews. By the way, Elithair gives gifts to everyone if they leave a good review here - so don't let that blind you.

Hello, I was at Elithair in February 2024, so now after 3 months I can notice that my hair is starting to grow where you implanted 4200 graphs in me. I had a consultation with Elithair in Berlin two months ago and made an appointment with them. I cancelled my appointment after two days before signing any contract and they said my appointment is cancelled but they keep sending me reminders that I have to pay for the transplant. Every time I call them they say that I’m out of the system and shouldn’t do anything but today I received my last reminder that if I don’t pay, they would hire lawyers. I just do not think such an organisation is worse trusting for HT.

Hello, I'm not entirely satisfied and I expected better results. At the front we're still OK, but in the middle and further back the result is poor. I'm not satisfied as I thought I would be. See photos for some bright spots. Got 5200 grafts. Nobody calls and asks how at peace I am. My rating is 3- in school grades.

I had my hair transplant done at Elithair in September 2022 and I am more than satisfied. As you can see from the pictures, I was really struggling with a receding hairline and wanted to replace it with a full head of hair. I had 4,700 grafts transplanted in Istanbul and the result is really impressive. I am more than satisfied with the result and would do it again at any time. Due to a slowly thinning tonsure, this is actually an option. In this case I would go to Elithair again immediately.

Great reception at the airport. The clinic is very pleasantly furnished and the operation went phenomenally without any pain or other problems. The prices vary locally because the remote diagnosis cannot diagnose everything exactly, but the workers are very accommodating and I didn't have to pay extra unnecessarily. I can only recommend. Price performance is simply unbeatable.

From the transfer provided, from the airport to the clinic, as well as from the clinic to the hotel, everything was very good and well organized by the Elithair Clinic. An interpreter was provided at the clinic - really very friendly and accommodating. <-- This applies to the entire staff. Even during the treatment, i.e. the operation, the team was always concerned about my well-being and occasionally asked if everything was okay. Everything was to my complete satisfaction until I returned to the airport. And after almost 4 weeks after my HT, I have to say I am confidently satisfied. There is an Elithair app that always accompanies you. And you can contact Elithair at any time and free of charge via WhatsApp if you have any questions, for example. The team responds within a day. So if you suffer from hair loss, you no longer have to. A trip to Istanbul to get advice and treatment from Elithair... and bye bye hair loss! Really recommended to anyone who suffers from this and wants to change it. I had grafts transplanted for 3700 and paid 3100 euros. Can't really say anything for the full service! Very modern clinic, well organized, you immediately feel like you are in good hands. Attached are a few pictures of the room if you decide to stay directly in the clinic.

Here is a more detailed report of the hair transplant: When we arrived at the airport, we went to exit 14. There should be someone standing there with an Elithair sign. Unfortunately the colleague didn't hold up the sign, but I was able to ask around. In total there were around 15 people at the exit who were then to be driven to the clinic. About 7 people per car were brought to the clinic in a very comfortable van. The waiting time between arrival at exit 14 and departure was around 30 minutes -> so completely OK and very well coordinated with the flights. The journey to the clinic took about 1 hour, but Fenerbahce had a home game that day, which meant that every journey that day was slightly delayed. When we arrived at the clinic, all data was recorded, blood was taken, ECG was done, scalp scans, hair analysis, hairline planning, graft calculation, payment and shaving were carried out. All of this took about 5 hours (with a relatively long wait, but there was also a lot going on that day). After the clinic visit we went to the “luxury hotel”. After a 30 minute drive we arrived at the Marriot Hotel. Really nice hotel, with spa and everything. But it was explained to me that my reservation had been canceled and a driver would now be called would have to...after a while a driver came and took me to a 4-star hotel (Four Points by Sheraton). In short: I landed in Istanbul at 4 p.m., I was in my hotel room at 11:30 p.m., so everything was fine. Unfortunately, no more dinner because you have to stay sober during the procedure! On the second day I was picked up from outside the hotel at 6:30. The driver was there on time for pickup. When you arrive at the clinic, everything is locked in a safe. You are led into a room where an entrance is made. Apparently the colleague wasn't very experienced as it took a few attempts to hit the vein, but that was probably due to the early morning ;) The sedation went great, I had lovely dreams and had absolutely no pain. It took our colleagues around 5 hours for 3700 grafts (removal around 2 hours, insertion around 3 hours). I had no pain and was able to listen to music/podcasts the whole time. The only criticism of the whole thing was: The ladies who carried out the treatment talked throughout... There were 2-5 people in the room at the time. And you know it: one person tells a joke or makes a saying at work, boom, the whole team laughs. Please don't misunderstand: it's absolutely okay to have fun at work! But not having at least 2-3 minutes of rest for 5 hours at a time is really tiring. I talked to other patients and they also complained about the amount of conversation. After the treatment you go back to the hotel. You are allowed to eat and drink (no alcohol, not too salty/greasy, etc.). My first night was okay, I didn't need any painkillers or anything like that. The follow-up examination took place on the third day. This also went quickly and well. You receive medication and another consultation. German interpreters are also available, so there are no language barriers. The trip to the airport went well, unfortunately a little late, but luckily my plane was also late. Overall: Very well organized, of course little things can always be improved, but you can tell that the system works well there. I personally can recommend the hair transplant at Elithair.

A month ago I had the hair transplant. At the beginning I thought “great service!” but that went away quite quickly. You quickly realized that it was all about the money! Especially when you notice, or from other people, how you can negotiate. Bazaar almost! One person pays so much, the other pays something else or is still negotiating (also refers to the products, PRP treatment…). The biggest surprise for me was the price increase, by €1,200. You only received the message when you booked the flight and made the deposit. Then backing out is questionable (very clever of Elithair). Especially since the price for the increase is not sensibly justified. In Turkey, they wanted to increase the price again for the same reason but for 500€, you notice that there was poor communication and so they gave themselves away. Just read the legal notice to see how they market themselves over the phone as a “German company”. Has nothing to do with Germany. So you have little chance if you want to hire a lawyer. Communication via WhatsApp was not always very clear and clear. Even during treatment there was hardly any conversation with anyone. The interpreter came by briefly and that was it. Elithair also advertises with “accompanying person can come along for free”, that’s true. But you had to talk to them about it yourself and then turn it around as if it was a gift from them. I met people in Turkey who had to pay extra for the accompanying person (because they didn't mention it). I arrived two days early, they offered me the same hotel, which I thought was cool, but then I was told that one night would cost €130, but the bill said €160. After the phone call, they reduced it again to €130, but with the indirect statement “it's only €60, why are you acting like that” - it came across as outrageous. Another statement: everything is transparent. They said you get the patient file, nothing there, ECG yes and the hair test. When you request by email, it's very, very complicated. Now I have something but by far not everything. Of course there are a few positive things, but after I received no friendly feedback by phone and email afterwards. I don't even see the point of mentioning something like that. I can still see what the result will be. I can't say much about that at the moment. Except for the “penetrative” calls and emails (also very unfriendly) about other products, PRP treatment… I 100% question the guarantee they offer! Lets say it like this. Elithair seems to invest heavily in marketing and it is a machine. I think you should take a good look around, because there are some other providers who definitely not only see the money in you but also the person who wants to fulfill your wish.

90 day after the transplantation the hairs are more and more showing on my head. It feels great to leave the house without wearing a cap. I feel good :-)

I had my beard transplant at Elithair 1 week ago. When I decided to go to this clinic I sent the requested pictures of my beard as described on their website. 1 day later I received the notification that I was eligible for a beard transplant and that I should reserve a personal consultation appointment online. The friendly lady called me exactly to the minute and gave me advice and told me the price and the approximate number of crafts. I just had to book the flights myself, otherwise everything would be taken care of for me. You get the app from Elithair, which is also very helpful, whether before or after the operation. Everything is described in detail. In the app I was also able to decide to get my room directly in the clinic. A few weeks before I was sent the Neo Fue Set, which you have to use 7 and 1 day before the operation. When I arrived in Istanbul the driver was already waiting and we took the shuttle to the clinic. When I got there, the driver took me in and I was immediately met by a friendly gentleman who spoke German very well. I was told that I could get something to eat in their canteen and then I would be shown the room and then I should go for a preliminary examination. After about an hour of waiting in the waiting room, it was my turn for the blood test and ECG. Afterwards I had the evening free. The next day I was supposed to have a hair analysis at 9:40 a.m., a preliminary consultation, a shave and payment for my surgery. I had an appointment at 12:30 p.m. At around 1:30 p.m. I was picked up from the waiting room and taken to the operating room. The operation was finished at 12:30 a.m. Unfortunately, there was no break, no food or drink... which wasn't all that great, since you're not allowed to eat or drink anything for 8 hours before the operation because of the sleep deep method... but well, you don't die. If you want to be beautiful, you have to suffer sometimes. The next day I went to the doctor again, who looked at everything and described the operation to me. Then I had a few product explanations from an employee and then I got ready for the flight home. Room I can't understand why the reviews say the rooms are dirty. Every day the cleaning lady cleaned and replenished everything. About the waiting times I also spoke to local patients who had to wait longer. But there are really a lot of people there and that's just how it is sometimes. You shouldn't be so cramped whether you're sitting in the room watching TV or in the waiting room on your cell phone, after all it's not something that the employees need 5 minutes to do. Cost Only an approximate number of crafts is determined online. Only during the examination can the doctor say exactly how many there actually are. It also depends on the hair structure whether it is thicker or thinner. Most of the time there are more but there were also some where there were fewer... and we're talking about 100€ more or less, that's not the world, after all you want a good result in the end. Employees The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Communication before and after care: Many people report in the reviews that you have to wait longer during aftercare until you get an answer if you have a question online. There are definitely a lot of requests for an HT or BT. I noticed that there are simply many more employees in preparation and customer acquisition than in aftercare. That's why it can take a lot longer to get an answer. It is better to book an online appointment with a consultant than to write an email and wait for a response. We try to help the patient as best as possible. I was definitely very satisfied with my stay and would do it again if the hair on my head were to say goodbye at some point
