Advice,
treatment,
aftercare:
top!
I
initially
decided
on
Euroeyes
because,
on
the
one
hand,
I
would
have
paid
a
lot
more
money
at
a
normal
ophthalmologist's
office
(around
€3,000-4,000
more
on
average)
and,
on
the
other
hand,
I
simply
felt
like
I
was
in
better
hands
with
a
provider
who
did
this
regularly
have.
The
free
initial
consultation
was
relatively
short.
Initial
examinations
were
carried
out
and
all
questions
I
had
at
the
time
were
answered.
The
initial
consultation
and
examination
was
carried
out
by
an
employee.
During
the
conversation
you
noticed
a
bit
of
the
practice's
commercial
approach,
but
that
didn't
bother
me
because
they
still
took
their
time
and
answered
all
the
questions
I
had.
After
submitting
the
cost
estimate,
I
decided
on
the
treatment
(ReLex
Smile)
and
I
was
immediately
given
appointments
for
the
preliminary
examination
and
the
laser
appointment.
I
then
received
some
more
information:
You
have
to
pay
the
money
in
advance
of
the
operation
(advance
payment)
and
also
bring
proof
(transfer
slip
or
similar)
with
you
to
the
operation
appointment.
There
is
a
fee
for
the
preliminary
examination
appointment,
even
if
you
decide
against
treatment.
The
money
for
this
is
already
included
in
the
overall
package,
so
you
really
only
get
a
single
bill.
The
invoice
also
includes
all
material,
medication
and
follow-up
examinations.
Two
weeks
after
my
initial
consultation,
I
went
to
the
preliminary
examination
appointment,
which
then
took
a
few
more
hours
(I
can't
say
exactly
how
long
it
took
for
me).
You
can
also
get
eye
drops
here
that
dilate
your
pupils,
so
you
shouldn't
drive
a
car
that
day
and
it's
better
to
take
sunglasses
with
you
(personally,
I
wasn't
sensitive
to
glare
in
practice,
but
I
was
very
blinded
by
the
daylight
outside).
During
the
preliminary
examination,
all
the
employees
were
very
friendly
and
took
care
of
me
at
any
time
if
I
had
a
concern.
There
was
also
another
medical
consultation
at
the
end,
during
which
the
last
questions
were
answered
and
tips
and
advice
were
given
for
the
time
after
the
operation.
Two
days
after
the
preliminary
examination,
the
time
had
come
and
I
went
to
my
treatment
appointment.
At
the
beginning
I
was
given
a
sedative
tablet
and
then
sat
down
in
the
waiting
area.
It
didn't
take
long
before
I
was
led
to
the
back
of
the
office
and
prepared
for
surgery.
For
me,
the
preparation
by
the
MA
was
routine
and
professional.
It
was
always
explained
to
me
what
was
being
done
to
me
(e.g.
disinfecting
my
eyelids
or
the
area
around
my
eyes,
etc.).
After
another
short
wait,
I
went
to
the
operating
room
and
Dr.
Lamcke
greeted
me
warmly
and
asked
about
my
state
of
mind
(I
was
quite
excited).
She
also
answered
the
last
questions
I
had
in
mind
and
took
away
my
fears
about
the
procedure
The
procedure
was
then
carried
out
and
lasted
about
15-25
minutes
(to
be
honest,
I
had
no
sense
of
time
in
the
situation).
During
the
procedure,
the
material
removed
by
laser
had
to
be
removed.
That
was
a
bit
uncomfortable,
but
other
than
that
I
didn't
feel
anything
from
the
procedure
itself.
After
the
procedure
was
over
I
had
cloudy
vision,
which
is
normal
and
completely
cleared
up
the
next
day.
There
were
a
total
of
3
follow-up
examination
appointments
(one
directly
on
the
first
day
after
the
procedure,
the
second
about
a
week
later,
the
third
after
about
2
months).
At
these
appointments
my
visual
performance
and
the
results
of
the
procedure
were
checked.
Everything
went
smoothly
for
me,
there
were
no
complaints
and
there
was
nothing
wrong
with
it.
At
the
last
appointment
I
was
very
kindly
asked
at
the
end
if
I
had
the
desire
and
time
to
write
a
review.
Conclusion:
I
am
extremely
satisfied
with
the
result
and
can't
complain
about
anything!
