Simple and clean, location is great. Staffs are friendly.

Staff are welcoming and the rooms are clean. It's a very cozy hotel.

Location is very close to the train station. The hotel has many rooms but those are in poor condition...old bathroom and old furniture. No bedspring in my bedroom, only a mattress on a plank of wood. Regarding the breakfast, the coffee machine do worst coffee...there is a handmade fruit salad and the bread is good quality... Finally..very cheap benefit.. If your target is the lower cost...this hotel is for your 89 euro the night for a single room with the breakfast.

Ibis Budget is always reliable. Somewhat surly treatment at checkin, but rooms are clean and while my bed was 3m from the lift, I slept fine. Odd that rooms for 1 person are sold and contain a single bed while there is ample space in the room to put a larger one.

Friendly, helpful staff, very rough exterior, but inside is ok. rooms were simple and clean. Cheap too. No hotel parking though, just street.

Very clean and very welcoming staff, though it's nothing fancy. Breakfast can't be had if you leave before 6am though.

I stayed at the Ibis Budget Besancon Centre Gare hotel for 2 nights as I was riding my bicycle on the EV6 across Europe. The AC is regulated by the hotel and did not get cool in the room, barely anything coming out of the wall vent high up on the wall. If you turned the fan on medium or high nothing happens, sit and sweat in the room. I called reception and a guy came up and said it was working as he said he could feel air coming out but did not have answer for why the fan didn't increase when moving the wall mounted thermostat fan to high. Even holding a sheet of paper up near the vent, the paper didn't even move. Breakfast as not good at all, for cereal all they had was just cornflakes, no muesli, croissants. As I had my bike, I asked where I could put the bike, and the woman took me to a storage room underneath the hotel with very steep concrete steps to walk down carrying the bike. Very difficult to carry a heavy bike down concrete steps.

Great value, good sized room (larger than expected). Only criticism is position of toilet was very tight on legroom.

Just for a business stay, it is clean and convenient location
