One of many great Vietnamese restaurants in Sydney. This modest shop serve delightful bowls of Pho. Pick your raw beef, shanks, or chicken as you preference. The herbs are fresh. The broth itself was clear yet flavorful, MSG was definitely there, but I had no problem with it. Beef slices were succulent and tender. Mix with chili and herbs to elevate the Pho experience even more and added more depth in flavor. Place was packed when I visited. Waited 20 minutes to get seated. Service was okay, friendly and quick. Loved the atmosphere and crowds. Price was quite okay. Cash only shop BTW. Highly recommended for Pho lovers out there.

I have no hesitation in saying that while this place is simple and unsophisticated, it is indeed a truly amazing dining experience! New to pho I had tried a couple of times to make my own with limited success. This is the benchmark place and the signature taste has people flocking back again and again.

I’m going to report to the police for drug use in the Pho broth 🚨🚨🚨 jokes aside, the freshness and the use of different parts of one single meat source for a complex yet easy to eat dish - made this place my favourite restaurant in Western Sydney! Absolute destroyed the bowl in 5 minutes after a 40 minutes drive to this place, if you come to Sydney and ask to show you around, be prepared with an empty stomach 😁😁😁 and cash too because they don’t do card 💰💰💰

Really good pho but come on ... At this price point, shouldn't be cash only and $3.50 for a shared bowl. Unnecessary business practice which turns people off. Pho dac biet has no beef ball either.

Some of the best pho I have had in Sydney. Delicious broth and generous portions. Food came out really fast and the vibe was good. Cash only so be prepared.

This restaurant is an absolute Sydney institute and a must-have for pho. It's been my go-to pho place. The pho here is extremely beefy and flavourful. The beef is tender, and the tendon and tripe are super clean, no organ smell at all. Order the beef pho (number 9) large and you won't be disappointed. Don't forget to ask for their garlic chilli oil too.

This place was a childhood favourite due to the quick service and the tasty broth. However my last visit wasn’t as good from memory. They still have a good portion of meat but the quality has really gone down. The meat had a weird aftertaste I didn’t enjoy. Really big restaurant and nice environment though but the quality has gone down since a few years ago.

Super quick service, cash only. The beef noodles are excellent here. A bit on the pricier side. I would recommend the large raw beef noodle. No English menu !

This joint has lost the plot. Complacency or whatever the case, Pho An is not what it used to be or they targeting me with tough beef. No one seems to care that cheap cuts are fare and broth disrespected without supervision of the old girl who secreted the generation issued cookbook of the century only to be no longer present and delegated to the busy kids who oblige with work ethic and consistently seat me in the southern end of the restaurant never to be seen eating with our superiors up North

Tasty pho broth and generous with the meat. We tried a chicken and beef pho, and both were very tasty. Both were served up within minutes of ordering too. At $17 for medium and $19 for large, it's a little pricier than other pho places however, we weren't disappointed with the quality.

The soup is just great. The portion is very generous ( a lot of meat) Clean and nice sitting area. I can tell this is the best place to have pho in Bankstown! - kids size meal available in reasonable price However, I do not prefer ‘cash only’ businesses.

I came here not because it's backed by Melissa Leong but my Dad who said that this was the best pho - beating out Melbourne also. This pho restaurant was the biggest I've ever been to, with a nice interior feel to it where you were one up from a typical dirty pho restaurant. It had a nice menu board with your options of only beef or chicken. The pricing wasn't too bad although I am used to Melbourne prices - average $16 medium to large size bowl. Not sure about the additional cost of beef balls (bo vien) of $8 in a small bowl. The size was generous and the quality of the meat was better than standard. I was impressed with the portion of meat and the broth was the clearest and tastiest I've had. Overall the service was quick as they had to be as it is a very popular restaurant and responsive to some of our requests. Would I say it's the best pho ever? Probably not but it's in the top few at least. 🙂

Price is up again but the quality (the soup) has gone down. However, it’s still good to have a bowl when you want to eat pho.

they had great portions and good value for money. food was fresh and made a hearty experience. the staff were accommodating despite how busy it was! if it weren’t such a hassle to travel to i would come here more often but definitely worth it.

It’s pretty good! It wasn’t as busy as I expected on a early Tuesday evening. They only accept cash and you’ll need to know what you’re ordering before taking a seat at a table as they do come out with the food fairly quickly, so check out the menu at the entrance first to prepare. I had the Pho Beef Brisket in a large size. Very generous soup to noodle portion. I can say personally that it was enough for me. I’d come back if I was in the neighbourhood.

Great pho soups. Very generous with the meat. Prompt service. Great Vietnamese food. Cash only, make sure you have notes on you. Other wise the nearest ATM is around the corner 5 mins walk return.

The pho here is perfect - and you know it’s perfect, because it’s basically all they sell! The large is absolute huge, and delicious. A hearty pho, full of flavour. The restaurant is big also, and super busy. Menu is limited - but if you’re going here, you’re going because you want pho. Highly recommend, would definitely go back.

Fabulous Pho ! Pho in rich flavored soup with super fast service was very impressive. The rice noodle was somewhat narrow than usual, and two size serving idea was great. Surprisingly though the beef was not tender, but chewy - this could be because the beef slice maybe thicker than other places or not a good quality... Anyway, this looks like a model restaurant or business for others to benchmark - clean area, in/out doors, designated workers and order taking by using IPAD, and best overall coordination & efficiency of the staffs - No wonder the place is voted many times the BEST Pho place in Sydney !

The best pho in my opinion 👍👍👍, fresh herbs and bean sprouts, love it. Please note its CASH ONLY. And just pay at your table, we attempted to stand and pay at the cashier, but the waitresses panicked a bit haha, definitely will come back.

there’s absolutely nothing that’s bad i can say about this place! starting from the employees being greatly welcoming and attentive, towards the food that was so quickly arrived i couldn’t even believe it, and then towards their popular pho with tender rare beef and hot temperatures broths, and also a refreshing coconut drink which led to satisfied stomachs! even the small and medium sized pho bowls are packed in ingredients and will fill you up in no time, something that isn’t common among other restaurants.

I recently dined at this Vietnamese noodle restaurant, and it was a taste of Vietnam right here. The pho was simply fantastic, with rich, aromatic broth and tender slices of beef. Their spring rolls were crisp and flavorful. The ambiance was cozy, making it a great spot for a casual meal. The service was attentive and quick, ensuring we enjoyed our dining experience. If you're craving authentic Vietnamese flavors, this place is a must-visit!

For its price, the pho was not good enough. Portion, however, was decent. That’s all I can say. Everyone in my party agreed. Service was fast & good, though. The waiters/waitresses’ were wearing gloves and their thumbs were deep in the soup when bringing the bowl to us. If the gloves were new, that’s OK, but the reality is, they rarely change the gloves (if any). They cleared other tables’ leftovers using the very same gloves.

The beef noodles here are good but not as fantastic as the used to be when they first opened. The price has really gone up and it's over $20 for a bowl of noodles - that's higher than most other beef noodles elsewhere. Still worth a try though if you haven't been before. Regards @fooderarri

👍 Best restaurant for South Indian dishes. Worth a try of Biryani. Tried Tandoori Soya today and it was the best I ever had here. Egg65 Biryani was so tasty. Crispy Baby corn was bad seemed like it was not fresh. You should not let your standards drop.
