Very nice experience. Our waitress Momo was tremendously helpful & patient with our group. The food was delicious & cooked to perfection. The lamb chops were scrumptious. I normally don't do lobster with my mash potatoes, but it did not disappoint.

Mastro’s has gone way too corporate. The excellent service and top notch food, fine dining Beverly Hills steakhouse vibe that was once here has been replaced by corporate greed, jamming as many tables into the space and trying to jam out the revenue. It’s pathetic. How little space can you try and create between the tables? Servers and patrons running into one another, zero room to move. Total frenetic disaster on the 2nd floor. Our server, Maggie, was terrific, communicative and sweet, so no fault there. She alone pulled this review up to three stars. What she had to deal with, with the poor space planning, and a kitchen running 30 minutes behind due to what they are trying to do here, was embarrassing. The bar also running behind, by about 15 minutes. At least I hope sitting down on the main floor, this place retains some semblance of composure. There are far better places to spend hundreds of dollars in LA on a meal on any given night. The filet and NY Strip were good, but maybe came out a little rushed and burnt on the outside, preparation/presentation suffered with the way the kitchen was running. I am overall embarrassed for the brand and what this restaurant group has done to some of these iconic establishments like this Mastro’s location. We did have a consensus at the table that maybe the time to come here is on a weeknight, and sit on the main floor. And while sitting on the main floor may have alleviated the space and traffic woes a bit on a weekend night, it would not have alleviated the food and bar woes. 🤷‍♂️ The people watching was fun and it was a busy, fun, energetic vibe and was fun to watch the seafood towers presented (video). Edit: so corporate and soul-less they posted a canned response to this review to a generic Landry’s feedback link that doesn’t even lead anywhere. What a friggin’ joke. Last time spending money at any Mastro’s or Landry’s location. Ditch the corporate restaurant empire scamnation. It’s tired.

I went to maestros for Christmas Eve dinner and really enjoyed myself. The only thing that was concerning was that the tables were close together and there wasn’t much space in between. I would’ve been much more comfortable with at least six feet between groups. Otherwise, the food was a 10 and the ambiance was great. Very dark, hard to see the menu even but I enjoy a dimly lit dining room. Great service, thanks Bill! Highly recommend the lobster mash and dirty martini with olives stuffed with blue cheese

first time at this location. we usually book a reservation in malibu, which is an amazing beach side location. while i prefer to be next to the water, this patio experience was also pretty damn excellent. i'm not even gonna speak on the food bc... c'mon, it's mastros. everything is always beyond spectacular. but just so you know what we ordered: bacon steak, wedge salads, 40oz tomahawk, creamed corn, mashed taters, mac n cheese, lobster mac n cheese, and a baked potato (we like leftovers, okay?! lol). the spot itself is dope. we asked to go to the rooftop and were immediately accommodated. a cute couch seat outside with plenty of table room. we were also right next to the lounge singer. i have to say, she didn't suck, but should be more aware of her crowd lol. she does great in the pop genre. we were also treated to a privileged karen moment when two women marched in and picked out a spot (in a closed section lol). first the hostess tried to explain why they could not bypass her and pick their own spot, but when the karens got huffy she walked away. her manager would later come by and explain that they were in a closed section so delays would be expected 🤣🤣🤣. this happened within 45 mins of the restaurant closing. the food is easily the best part of the night, but the entertainment factor was a close second. we will definitely be back.

I made a reservation on Wednesday, May 8 for my husband’s birthday. I heard from locals that they change their menu and was actually excited to try them out. I’ve been to the one in Malibu and it was amazing. We checked in on time and the staff was very welcoming and escorted us to the penthouse. There we met our amazing waitress she suggested an amazing drink followed by a little bit about the place. Let’s not forget that there was a live band playing top 30 hits! We skip the appetizers, and jumped right ahead to the entrées... I had a New York strip steak he had a flaming Jan and we both shared the cauliflower, sweet corn, potatoes sides.

Great food, good service, and a relaxing atmosphere. The live music volume level was a bit loud, maybe a few notches lower would have made table conversation a bit more manageable, but overall we very much enjoyed our visit. This is the 5th Mastro's location we have visited, and all have been consistently great.

The service: Kelly was our waitress. She was amazZzziinnGggg! Not only did she know the menu in detail but made great suggestions to pair with the food. Kelly knows how to work an area, ensuring that every guest is satisfied with service and has everything they need for an enjoyable dining experience. Mastro's is lucky to have Kelly and will look forward to requesting her again for our next visit. The food: My husband and I order the same thing at every new Resteraunt for comparison. He orders the lamb and I, the salmon. Yall... listen to me... read these words.. that salmon was the best salmon I EVERRrrrrRrrr had. They have a number of ways you can have it prepared. I chose a simple salt and pepper pan sear. OMG 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 It was perfect. When they say it's Scandinavian caught... I believe it. My husband said the lamb was cooked perfectly. After many times watching him take a bite of lamb for the first time at a new resteraunt, I was excited to see him break a smile on his face after his first taste. He ate it all!!! For appetizers: we had a Caprice salad that was underwhelming. But the crab cake was legit 🔥🔥🔥 The drinks : I had a strawberry Margherita. It was delightful. It was made by a bartender that knows what they are doing. Flavorful with a nice balance of liquor. Dessert: We had to take out dessert to go but my husband had a cake with their house made whipped cream. It was gone by morning. 😄 We sat on the balcony which was pretty cool. We watched all the luxury cars drive by while enjoying the warmth of the setting sun while having moments of coolness from the incoming evening. I hope yall enjoy yourselves here.

Not a very big restaurant. Food was just okay. I got a rack of lamb that was market price. It was too gamy for my liking. But I really enjoyed their key lime martini. And, I thought the service was good. However, for the price, I expected the main entree to taste a whole lot better. Also, valet parking fee was pricey—$15. Not so sure I would like to come back here.

A nice fancy steakhouse. The staff were all very, very friendly and helpful. There was a mix up on how we wanted our steaks, but it wasn't a big deal. The flavor of my porterhouse was not the best I've ever had, but was still quite nice. I loved the garlic mashed potatoes.

the food was good, yet, i think the first time i visited was more magical. although, it was good seating on the first floor before, and this visit was on the second floor. the lighting was minimal, making it difficult to read the menu. I'll have to visit again to try the kobe and wagyu. and the butter cake was exceptional. April was awesome, and the overall experience was memorable at it was a retirement and holiday dinner. public parking is across the street with multiple levels and ample spots.

Worst Mastro’s experience ever, I’ve been plenty of times but have not been to this location and it definitely was the worst. I can’t say Mastro’s as a whole I don’t like but this Beverly Hills location is not it. It was my aunts birthday and they sold us bad crab cakes my mom got food poisoning and there was glass in my drink. Yes I said glass. Never will go to this Mastro’s ever again. Also have a picture the glass is as big as the lemon in my drink.

Amazing steaks and sides as always. Classy, warm, friendly staffs. Love their cozy and new al fresco dining area. Always been a fan of Mastro's usually get to dine at their elegant main dining area downstairs. Opted to dine at the al fresco area of The Penthouse this time. If possible, try their Wagyu Tomahawk but their Rib Eye was already excellent. Creamed corn, lobster mac and cheese and caesar salad all on point. Crab cake and lobster roll just ok. Butter cake was comforting as usual. Stellarly maintained, never dissapoint. TOP TIPS: if uneasy about valet parking during pandemic you may want to park at the public parking garage across the street. Apparently it also opens to a very scenic grounds of Marleybone Hotel with gorgeous garden and fountain.

The food quality is excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection and you can taste the fresh ingredients of the food. We also got lucky with a great server Zeferino who was nice and hospitable with us.

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and we had a wonderful time! First off, the food was delicious. Their bread basket had a wide range of toasts that we ate with various items for our meals. (Didn't want to fill up on bread but it was so good, I kept picking at it). My favorite was the tuna tar-tar that had a heaping amount of Avocado and a wonderful crunchy bottom that gave each bite a mix of sweet, savory, squish and crunch. I'm not a big meat eater, especially when it comes to chunks of steak. But this was one of the best steaks I've ever had. It was cooked as we requested (medium-rare), and it melted in your mouth. The only item we weren't too keen on was the Brussels, because the middle was still really firm and gave a rather bitter taste. (Brussels can be pretty bitter though, so it's not necessarily an error on the kitchen.) Our server was punctual and friendly, attending to us regularly for the few hours we ended up being there. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. There was a duet at the piano that played covers of popular music played today. We even asked for a request which they did their best to perform. Overall had a wonderful time. For a special occasion, this is a great place to go!

We came here for our birthdays. Calling ahead of time, they prepared special menus with our names on it and a cheesecake with whipped cream made in house. We ordered the Prime Rib, Brocolini, French Onion Soup. I’d give the steak 8.5/10 for the price. The service and atmosphere were great. Highly recommended for dates, family dinners, or corporate/client meetings.

Mastro’s Steakhouse provided an incredible anniversary night for a happy couple. The food was as impressive as the venue; an easy front runner for top dinner spots around LA. —Food— I started off with a tasty iceberg wedge. My fiancée and I had the ribeye and filet which were both fantastic and perfectly cooked. The Ribeye in particular was very well seasoned and tender. We also had the French fries and Mac n Cheese sides. The fries were a bit dry but were well seasoned. I paired the steak with a nice Cabernet that was recommended by our waiter. For dessert we were served a chocolate cake with a large side of whipped cream. The cake was moist and paired perfectly with the whipped cream. —Venue— Mastro’s is known for its elegant ambiance and that’s exactly what we got. We actually dined in the Mastro Penthouse which a more laid back, private dining experience. We were seated in a corner table which was perfect for a romantic anniversary dinner. —Staff— The staff were extremely professional. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu and friendly.

Hello Mastro social media. I tried the link you sent to provide more comments, it didn't work. ==== my original review ==== Service was excellent. Seafood was extraordinary. But this place is known for steak and all of our steaks (15 of them) were extremely burnt. And I recall going to another location years ago where my steak was not burnt. So this was not good mostly due to the food.

What I had encountered tonight I can’t describe it other than a “racism” or “discrimination” whatever you prefer to call it! When I entered, there was 3 ladies at the reception desk , I told them I have a reservation, they said please wait, after a moment one of them asked me to follow her to my table, we went in the direction of the stairs to the second floor, we started with the first step, then the other two ladies give the lady with me a “look”, then she said to me: sorry and asked me to come back on the other direction to a room on the ground floor which have an entrance covered with brown sheets and the other entrance is an open door to the kitchen directly, I was sitting alone in a around 21 tables room and the other customers who came after me they were taking to the second floor directly!, if you do not want some type of people to dine at your restaurant then please cancel their reservation or find another excuse to let them go a way! But to be fair to the restaurant, this is the best one (food wise) in LA no argument about this, the waiters they are nice and the service is excellent. Other than racism, I highly recommend this restaurant.

We visited Mastro several times on our vacation as the food and service were beyond compare. We got a variety of food including the Caesar salad, half-dozen oysters, crispy garlic tuna sashimi, filet mignon (absolutely amazing especially with the wagyu butter), garlic mashed, creamed spinach, white cheddar Mac & cheese and wild mushroom & black truffle gnocchi. Each dish was incredible and I highly recommend each and every one of the items I listed above. The service on each night we visited was consistent and professional. Each server did a great job of breaking down each of the specials, recommending their favorite dishes and accommodating my nut allergy with each dish. Both the outside patio and inside dining area provide a beautiful ambience with live music everyday starting around 7:30pm and mood lighting at each table. The band was lovely and you could make recommendations for songs to play. 10/10 would recommend this place and will gladly go back whenever I visit LA.

I have been to several of these establishment this by far is my favorite! The sommelier there was next level one of the best experience I have ever had he was amazing! They always have the best food! And I finally did the seafood tower was to die for and I have guest at my dinner for my 30th who cried because the food was the best meal he has ever had that should say in itself how amazing it is. Lobster bisque is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me in this life. Steaks are amazing sides are perfect all around great experience.

Mastro's was amazing! My partner took me here for date night. When we arrived, they were a bit behind on reservations, so we went to the bar for drinks. The bartender was great, the drinks were good, and he checked in to see how everything was tasting. In about 15 mins or so, our table was ready. We were escorted upstairs, where we ordered more drinks and food. My partner got the bone in steak with mash potatoes, and I ordered the rack of lamb with lobster fried rice. It was amazing! After dinner, we got dessert. The special was the upside down pineapple cake with ice cream. It came out warm and was delicious! I'd definitely recommend going for date night! The room was also dimly lit and gave a flare of romance. Great experience.

Mastro's Steakhouse is great place to try if you are in the Beverly Hills area. The interior is very nice and looks upscale. I went there on a Thursday night and it was very busy and noisy. They had live music, which was nice. I dined at the bar and I waited there for a while until someone got my order, I also waited a lot for the NY steak to come. I was not asked if my food tasted good, regardless of that the steak was very good.

Great food, great music. The ambiance is a bit too dark for me. Had a food spill on the floor which made it slippery and no one could see it until the staff used their flashlights.

Great Dining Experience in Beverly Hills! Mastros’ does an awesome job consistently! This location can get slightly crowded and of course if you are upstairs the music is the bit louder. Overall very difficult to go wrong here!

Perfect night! The live music, the musician's voice was soooooo electrifying, the low lighting, the presentation of the food when it comes, the service was beyond on point, everyone who was employed looked clean, suit tailored and on point (EVEN THE WOMEN WERE LOOKING SUPER FINE IN THEIR SUITS)....I mean last night was the perfect date night. Thank you Mastros for ending my night (the food has me sneaking in the fridge in the middle of the night to eat at my leftovers) 🤭

I Went for my birthday dinner it was everything and more ! I had such a fabulous time. The staff gave us a friendly warm welcoming when we enter the restaurant. We were seated in a great area. The food and drinks was amazing, our server Paul was very knowledgeable friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was lovely, very upscale place! I will most definitely be back soon. ❤️

The staff was amazing. They were attentive and very informative. They gave great recommendations on choice and portions and checked on us often. The drinks were a bit inconsistent. My cousins ordered the same drink and some were just right and some were too strong and some were too weak. The seafood tower was amazing. It came out all smokey and fun. We got a seafood tower of shrimp cocktail, lobster, and caviar (the gold nutty one $350). The tower was absolutely delicious. The lobster was great, the shrimp was sweet, and the caviar was definitely nutty. The caviar comes with accoutrements but the nutty taste didn't come through for us when those were used. The sides were good. The lobster Mac and cheese was nice. The lobster mash potatoes were good. Nice little chunks of lobster in those. Brussel sprouts and mushrooms were great. The steaks were bad. I got the tomahawk medium with truffle butter ($195) and my cousins got the ribeye medium well ($71) and even though they were cooked to basically the level we requested they all were and tasted burnt. We definitely could've made better steaks at home which was so disappointing since we were at a steakhouse. The staff and seafood tower carried the review to a two star. The steaks alone would've been a 1 star. I've been to the Costa Mesa location and the steaks were done beautifully there so I was very let down in Beverly Hills.

Food was good especially the Chilean Sea Bass. Unfortunately, the Lobster mac and cheese came with a piece of paper that came from a wine glass. I brought it up to our server and they apologized for the error and we were given a discount. Wait time for our food to arrive was so long that we had to order more bread.

What a great birthday night. Parking valet is $17 plus tip. After 7pm parking across the street is $5. Upon entering the host are beautiful. They greet you with a smile. My crew of 3 lovely ladies went upstairs and sat at the bar for drinks that were tasty and pretty strong. After being seated we enjoyed live music, Steak, pork chops, brussel sprouts, mash potatoes, salad and my favorite birthday butter cake. The ambience is fantastic.

Portion of foods was huge. Nice service and the valet parking which is $12 was covered with validation. Everything was good but would not recommend sea foods menu. That's why they are known for "steak house"

Mastro’s has gone downhill! We just had the worst experience ever. Our waiter Gabin was terrible- I think he must be new to the job, he was MIA. We ended up getting busboys to help after we didn’t see him for 20 mins. Too bad we have been big fans for years, go there for Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc. It’s a shame.

  • 3/5 Michelle 2 years ago on Google
The outdoor area was not that great. The ambiance was really off compared to the indoors area. There was no view and it was like a tent, no special set up. It was also super hot outside. The food was also so-so. I would not pay this much for such a mediocre ambiance The service was exceptional, which is the only reason I am giving it 3 stars

  • 5/5 Alexandra F. 1 year ago on Google
Absolutely fabulous anniversary dinner at Mastro’s Beverly Hills last night. Our server, Hannah, was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We enjoyed the roasted bone marrow, wagyu sushi, ribeye, crab fried rice, and sweet celebratory desserts - all delicious. Thank you for a wonderful evening!✨

I was there yesterday to celebrate my birthday. With 20 friends in the private lounge there.,and it was my worst experience ever! I am so disappointed with everything there. I wait 2 hours to eat something and even then it was mistake in the order. It was no vibe no music and thy refuse to take it up. The server was with 0 patience and make everyone there uncomfortable. She was no professional, and even when I ask her about stuff in the menu, she give me the wrong answer. The top of all of this is the Manager there that was so rude and racist and just tried to justify the place without trying to help me and my heart feeling. I’m really disappointed with this manager and with all manage of the place I never will go back to this restaurant
