Great pasta place but is pretty pricey. We ordered the truffle pasta with the cheese wheel and were disappointed by the waiter’s technique (especially compared to previous meals I’ve had there). He also wasn’t very knowledgeable about their wine list which was very surprising. The zucchini dish was a pleasant surprise and I highly recommend trying it. Overall, I enjoyed coming back here but the service is not as good as it used to be.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. Service is always excellent as well as the homemade pasta. This place is romantic and family friendly. The outside patio is a great place to spend your afternoon.

Almost always busy so it is best to make reservations or prepare to wait for a table. It is worth the wait every time, whether you dine indoors or outdoors. Excellent service and ambience. If you are in Beverly Hills and love Italian food, then you should go to Il Pastaio.

Such a great treat if you’re in the area. The staff were accommodating of our seating request and the turnaround time was pretty quick. We loved the black truffle pasta with the added cheese wheel. Definitely worth the extra $23. Make sure you try the panacotta as well! SO flavourful and fluffy (like a cloud)!

This place has beautiful vibes and a special menu, Justin Bieber pasta, whichever he likes to eat. All the servers wear uniforms. It looks professional. The food was nice, too.

The salads, pasta, and risotto here taste delicious. The meats, however, (particularly the lobster in the Arogosta salad and the Ossobuco) were tough and not tender at all. For the price we paid, it wasn't up to standards. Service was good despite how busy the restaurant gets.

A great Italian place you can’t go wrong with. The food was lovely and freshly made with a great vibe. I was able to customise a dish on the menu to make it just the way I wanted. I can’t fault the food but service wasn’t great. I booked the table two days in advance and was not told I have an option of sitting inside or outside. I have a baby and it’s quite cold in the evening at this time of year so sitting outside was definitely not an option. Upon arriving the waiter immediately went ahead and offered an outdoor table. We declined and it then took them atleast 15 minutes to prepare a table instead. They should definitely ask this question when people are booking. Second issue was the waitress trying to hurriedly serve us and kept asking if we were finished from our meal, really making us feel to rush and leave. This is definitely what you’d want considering the price you are paying. Otherwise can’t say they food was bad, can only praise the kitchen and chefs at this place.

We loved this restaurant! Everything was great: ambience, service and food spectacular. Really delicious the 🦞 lobster and crab pasta 🍝, the calamari 🦑 and insalate trittico with arugula raddichio and mango 🥭!! Deserts were delicious as well, tiramisu and pannacota with strawberries 🍓. The food was excellent, but the setting area was not lovely floors were very duty. I try not to look down so I can enjoy the meal.

It's a Beverly Hills hotspot with a nice outdoor patio for people watching. The pasta is made fresh daily (so I hear), and the sauces are simple but flavorful. The menu is short and concise, but there's something for everyone. - The prices are reasonable, especially for Beverly Hills. - The staff is knowledgeable about the food and wine. - The restaurant is a popular spot for celebrities and other well-heeled diners. Overall, Il Pastaio is a great place to enjoy some good pasta and people watch meal. It's the kind of place where you can feel like you're part of the LA scene, even if you're just a tourist. But don't wear a nice watch when dining there.

A really delicious and elegant dinner and beautiful Beverly Hills. It’s right on the corner of N Canon, and they have just as much outdoor seating as indoor seating. Both options would be good and both areas are very lively. Outside is well covered and heated and the tables weren’t too close. They don’t have parking, however, they offer valet for $15. We were able to find metered parking a block away so it was a short walk. Otherwise your only other option would be a paid parking garage. Parking in this part of Beverly Hills is a bit difficult due to how busy it always is. Our server was really polite and very prompt. They did a fantastic job with drink refills, honestly as soon as my drink would get halfway done they would come over and refill it. They have a huge menu with a ton of options but I have always heard about their truffle pasta, so I was zoned in on that. To start, we chose the Beef Carpaccio and the Bresaola starters. Both were fantastic and we really enjoyed them. I wish there was more meat on the Bresaola plate but still it was very good. For our entrées we chose the Black Truffle Tagliolini and the Agnolotti. The truffles were a great addition and I should have done the cheese wheel option as well but since we were sitting outside I decided to pass. This is a really elegant and great place to have dinner. It would be good for a casual or formal occasion and especially great for a date. It’s a bit expensive, but not overly so, there are other more expensive places close by even though they are not better than Il Pastaio.

I had an amazing dining experience at Il Pastaio in Beverly Hills! The pasta is simply outstanding; it's like taking a culinary trip to Italy. The ambiance and service were top-notch too. I highly recommend visiting if you're a fan of Italian cuisine!

Although we went there without a reservation at 9:30 pm, we were able to get a table. This restaurant stays open until 11 pm, which is convenient. We ordered calamari fritti, salad, pasta with truffle, past with clams, squid ink risotto, and steak. Everything was fantastic! We tried to go back there again during our trip, but unfortunately, we didn’t have the chance. I’ll definitely visit there again on my next trip to L.A. Thank you so much!

The food is DIVINE here. May even go as far as to say this is the best Italian food I’ve ever tried. We got the Arancini, Burrata, and Polenta Con Spugnole Porcini from the Black Truffle menu. Everything tasted amazing and the Black Truffle pasta was definitely a favourite for us (thinking about it makes my mouth water, honestly). It’s prepared to serve in a cheese wheel at the table, which is really cool to watch! They also made me a Sangria which was delicious. Highly recommend! (It’s usually really busy so best to get resos well in advance.)

Love this place!! We walked in and only waited for around 10 minutes. The shrimp risotto with asparagus was super delicious, the cheese flavour is rich, but not too creamy. The server is funny and nice! The bread is also good too, we asked for butter!

This is a very well run and tasty Italian restaurant. Service is quite good and the atmosphere is quite stylish but not too pretentious. You can go out with the whole family here. Almost all the dishes we ordered were very good. Ossobuco and pasta and cheese wheel were really good. They bake their Italian rustic bread every 40 mins and they are super fresh. Parking around this area is difficult and expensive but it is worth coming.

Love this Italian restaurant by Beverly Hills, food is always good. This is one of my must go place for Italian food by the westside of the town. I was there for lunch, remember to seat outdoor on a sunny day. Service is excellent as you can get.

I dislike leaving bad reviews but this wasn’t very good. Highlights : Host stand was friendly Food, honestly not good. Lacked flavor and tasted low quality. Server didn’t follow any typical steps of service that you would receive at a similar restaurant. Water glass was empty thru the whole meal, wasn’t refilled until the check was presented. This is the 3rd Italian place I’ve tried in Beverly Hills, highly doubt I’ll be back.

I had a delightful dining experience at this Beverly Hills gem. The Calamari Fritti was a perfect start, followed by the heavenly Ravioli Di Spinaci E Ricotta. The Risotto Nero and Linguine Con Crostacei were culinary masterpieces. The prices were justified for the quality. The service was exceptional, making it a top recommendation for friends and family. Super absolutely delicious absolutely recommend absolutely can’t wait to go back!!!! I loved this place!! Ambiance was nice in daytime and food was absolutely delicious. Italian perfection!! Great place to get some pasta. But don’t expect a low price meal. This is Beverly Hills. The food portioning was too small compared to the bill. Your basically paying for experience. If u got spending money go here and grab some Italian food. Good thing my date was super hot and my attention was in our conversation and atmosphere of the place. The valley parking is $15.00 so that’s about an average price in Beverly Hills.

It has been almost 10yrs to be there again. All taste was good as before and satisfied food quality. But not happy with the one bottle of water almost $8 and piece of bread is $1.5 per person. Of course, it is stated in the menu but before you look at the menu if a waiter asks water and bread for start, who can think it is not free? Anyway, overall satisfied I want to give 4 stars for it.

Il Pastaio is one of the Best hight scale Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills and surroundings where you can easily order your dishes from a great menu and once you get used to it, you won't even need to look at it especially if you become a regular they ll know what you love. You will get the Best Italian food and you will be hooked in no time, starting with the great welcome by the hosts, you will get your table in seconds, the waiters and staff will be with you right away , incredible Italian cuisine at its best, as soon as you order you will be served in no time, always busy, excellent customers, great atmosphere, you will dive into the night where you don't want the night to end, we love Il Pastaio and we will always come back, Thank you Il Pastaio and see you soon. My wife is in love with this place. It’s very romantic and right in the heart of Beverly Hills and during the holidays it is all lit up around. Has ample room outside and inside. Most of the servers are Italian which adds a nice flare to the place. The food is good and very tasty and seems like the use the highest quality. The prices f course belong to Beverly Hills. We had the arancinis to start. They are cone shaped interesting enough. 6 small pieces for $17. Moretti beer is $8. We all has pastas for our main course, the arrabbiata that I had was right on. Pasta dishes range between $23 to $35. Overall a great meal.

I found Il Pastaio on instagram. I'm a lover of all things truffle and found myself in Beverly Hills. So good. Made reservations in advance. Arrived and was seated right away. Service was wonderful. We shared a wonderful salad that had shaved artichoke hearts and a citrus dressing. I think it was on their specials menu. I had Black Truffle Tagliatelle. Amazing!! Very large portion as well. I didn't add the cheese wheel on. For me, that's just not worth the $$. My husband had another Black Truffle dish with a ravioli (I can't remember the name). It was very good, but for him the serving size was a little small. We will be back next time we are in LA. ***Be sure to make reservations. This place fills up fast. We had the first reservation of the day and when we left almost every table was full.

Great food, atmosphere and service. Calamari and puttanesca salad were fantastic. The venison bolognese was delicious. My buddies had the lasagna and pumpkin raviolis. They loved them. Get in here and eat!!!! Always good to people watch too.

What an amazing experience! Make sure to try the Justin Bieber, according to the story, Justin orders this Rigatoni noodle with a pink sauce. And it was delicious…. We had a plate to share between us all.

I didn't want to rate this amazing restaurant for the first time I went there, this is my third time already and the experience is getting better & better. This is one of the best Italian restaurant I've ever been into, especially their truffle pasta with the cheese wheel..OMG.. I will let my photos talk!!!

Walked in early and managed to secure an outdoor table. My pasta at Il Pastaio was perfectly cooked, so I can see why this restaurant is surrounded by hype and popular with locals and visitors alike. I tried the infamous Justin Bieber pasta with pink sauce. My favourite dish was a special on the menu, a fig and endive salad. The flavours were balanced to perfection and I appreciated being able to control the amount of Gorgonzola instead of having it overpower the entire dish. Also tried the tricolour salad but this wasn’t as stand out. Portions were generous and left me feeling satisfied. Service was good but not amazing.

We went to celebrate Il Pastaio's 30th anniversary and it did not disappoint. As a matter of fact, I never leave this restaurant disappointed. The staff is wonderful and attentive, the owner and his family are so kind and welcoming, and the food is delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!
