    We were staying close by & called into the restaurant for drinks & food. The male waiter was unfriendly & rude & treated us differently when realised we were not french. He refused to give us additional ice for the rose wine, water & cokes stating that this was for other customers drinks. The drinks were overpriced in addition to charging us 5 euro for water when we asked for tap water. We left without having food given service was so poor. Overall a very poor experience. We ended up going to the restaurant below with view of the river & had a very warm welcome, staff were lovely & ice was not rationed!

    We just wanted something to drink. We ordered four expensive cocktails and an extra bottle of water. a few minutes later lady came to ask what we wanted to eat, as soon as she understood we didn't want anything to eat her personality totally changed and she became unreasonably mean. We couldn't sit there unless we ate something and because we didn't want to, she yelled at us for "dirtying" her table cloth. fyi outdoor seating was half empty. don't go here!

    We had a great lunch here last year so returned for dinner on the terrace. The food was fine, but the steak was tough and the pudding lacked the home cooked feel. We were a little underwhelmed, despite the great views!

    We had four in a group and three of us ordered rack of lamb. All three were quite under-done with the meat nearly raw most of the way through. One plate had a good cut, the second had quite a bit of fat and sinew, and the third plate was nothing but fat and sinew. The waitress came by and asked how we liked our meals and we told her this. Her reaction was to shrug and say sweetly "I'm sorry", but she didn't offer to do anything. When we went to pay, we told the manager about the food and she said we should have complained when we were served and they would have fixed it. She then gave us a long dissertation about how at French restaurants they are happy to fix things if they are given a chance, but they don't give credit for bad meals. We told her at least three times during this that we DID complain, and she ignored us each time and just kept repeating the same story line. On the plus side, the deserts were decent, the service was prompt, and the atmosphere was cozy, but that doesn't offset paying $25 for an inedible plate of raw fat.

    I stayed 2 nights first week of August 2021, rooms 12 and 16 because it was raining and had no other choice except muddy campground.. it is definitely a 2* hotel… new owners since July so minor but annoying issues happened: no soap in shower, no remote control for tv, phone in room not working, ground floor not really clean, staff not trained on booking system so list 30min waiting for owner to arrive … and paying 110€ for a night w/o breakfast is not worth it in this hotel. The 1* review is also due to non respect of COVID guidances throughout my stay. Masks not always or badly worn by staff and owner, onsite workers not wearing mask…I saw the staff poorly and quickly washing hands after cleaning floor and then serving breakfast … positive note is that the dinner food is good, I had salmon tartare. All in all very low quality/price ratio and disrespect of sanitary rules is really a negative point.

    Had a great lunch with my family while here on holiday last year so came back again and pleased to say it was great again. Both the food and service are excellent and was a delightful way to spend a sunny lunch time

    Back to one of our favourite restaurants. No rush with food spent a lovely few hours enjoying the well prepared and very tasty food. Had great conversations with the staff who are patient and attentive. Thank you

    Restaurant: very good food. Friendly service. A bit expensive but worth the price. Only downside (not their fault though) is that the road is a bit busy.
