Charming little hotel conveniently placed near the beautiful poet's park and restaurants of Beziers. Couple running it were too kind, and very accommodating of our wild toddler. Delicious breakfast.

My stay here was very pleasant, mainly due to the lovely couple who ran the hotel and who were very helpful. The hotel is well situated and overlooks a nice park, close to the railway station. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast set me up for the day. One of the best 2 star hotels I have stayed in.

Right by the park and in downtown Beziers. Very quiet. Owners go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Rooms are small and there is no lift but that wasn't a problem for us. For the price it's a gem not to miss if you are looking to stay in the area.

Bread not fresh. Disappointing breakfast. Third floor. No lift. Promised park view but had a back room. Bedroom and bathroom clean but a bit tired. No available parking. Had to park in town centre so no advantage to hotel's location.

It was easy to book and the price is good for the location. Due to the construction in the area it was hard for our taxi to find the hotel. If you're looking for a place to stay overnight and then jump on the train early the next morning, this is perfect. If you're looking to stay in town a few days and explore Bezier, a hotel closer to the city center will be a better choice. No English, to come prepared to speak French. Free WiFi is available.

It's a good hotel for one or two nights and it's location is perfect. The main problem is that is not accessible at all. All room are from the first to the fourth floor and the only way to access is by stairs.

Convenient, but not very special - no lift. Small ensuit and only one towel each.

Rooms are very basic. That said, it's incredibly clean. Great staff ensure that the room becomes a minor inconvenience. Breakfast was excellent and not rushed. The location is outstanding. Everything is in walking distance. Excellent value for money. Well done.

Very pleasant hotel near a fine park, & maybe5 minutes to the center. Rooms are comfortable , clean & compact. Go for quieter rooms at the back ,if available, No lift.

A lovely experience, from booking on the phone to the warm welcome and the friendly goodbye. The hotel is well-situated, at the bottom of Allées Paul Riquet, opposite the Parc des Poètes. A charming, historic building with original features, including the spiral staircase. We were on the 4th floor and our room was quiet, cosy and comfortable. We didn't indulge in breakfast (€9) as we were only staying overnight to go to a venue in town. The breakfast room looked inviting, with a big window for natural light and views out to the park.

Rooms were clean and well taken care of. The location was perfect for convenience to restaurants etc. Breakfast was quite nice as a way to start the day. There were 5 of us on a cycling trip. There was covered secure storage for our bikes in a garage within a block of the hotel. We all agreed the owners were terrific and very helpful. They went out of their way to assist us when we had some trouble unrelated to our stay there. I highly recommend Poetes for a basic place to stay.
