Perfect dining experience, and I’ve complained at places that serve rs 18,000 steaks. The wait staff was very friendly, well mannered, and treated us like VIPs. The food was made exactly how we ordered it and came out fresh without any blemishes. The entire dining area and bathrooms were clean, and the view is incredible. The view and the drive up to Monal were amazing! If you plan on visiting Mona, make sure you go during sunset. This is probably the best place I have ever eaten food at. The air was so crisp. The service was amazing and the food tasted so good. Have to get the fries - they taste amazing. Like so good. We also got the mixed grill for two and the Pakoras. It all tasted again, so so good. Like it’s hard to put in words how much fun we had. And the we also got to take great photos. It’s good to go before and after sunset so you can get both views. Oh, and you can see Monal from the bottom of Islamabad if you look up. It’s the lit place on top of the mountain. So cool.

Best experience and very nice food. The staff was too humble and their behaviour was very good. We ordered 4 platters continental,Thai, Peshawari and Italian. All of them were delicious. Staff is diligent. It's always a fun place to visit due to the beautiful venue and lovely Islamabad weather.

Amazing food, beautiful scenery and the atmosphere is so lively, comfortable and heart warming. Honestly loved my experience here, it is slightly on the expensive side but it is totally worth it. If youre in Islamabad, then Monal restaurant is defo worth a visit you will not be disappointed. I would give the food 10/10. Best time to go is in the evening as when you sit down to eat, you'll see the whole of Islamabad city lit up right next to you. Beautiful.

Monal in Islamabad is closed still as on August 18 2020 so adjust your plans accordingly. Daman e Koh is not allowing Hiace type commuters. Zoo is closed. Rawal Dam view point is also closed.

The food is great and entertainment is live and on point. the prices are high for Pakistani standards but fair for international as this is on par with Pakistani restaurants in NYC cost wise but without the hygiene standards,taste and views.

I took my staff out for celebrating the new year's eve. Monal has always been a place I could be myself. My staff (who has never been to Monal before) didn't see it coming. They all seemed to enjoy the place. But more than that, the service that Monal provides. The waiters, the driver, the chefs, all seem to be highly remarkable at what they do. So I am gonna give this restaurant a 5 star review. I highly recommend you to go if you want to feel yourself away from the city life!

The 9 kilometer zigzag drive to top is a thrill in itself. Overall a wonderful experience.

A must visit place in islamabad. Its located in margalla hills. Drive from base of the hill to the restaurent takes about 25 minutes. The road to monal is steep at place with number of sharp turns but its an amazing experience to drive through lush green hill on a road winding to the top. The road condition is very good. There is sign posting on the road to guide you to monal comfortably. From the restaurant, view of islamabad is spectacular, seating is available indoor and outdoor. Restaurant is really nice with very good food and efficient service. Architecture is artistic and ambiance is excellent. They serve BBQ, continental and seafood with large variety. Its an amazing experience to visit monal and will definitely come back here

Went after 4 years and surprisingly things went really well from uphill drive, Car park, Crowd & Food. Above mentioned positive feedback may be a reason to a weekday visit when its less crowded. We were treated well by the Monal staff and given seats in a good place. Interestingly for the first time since the Monal is built, the food quantity was pretty much enough & justified in the price tag. A star less, as I believe there is always room for improvement, so in my opinion food taste need improvements.

Italian platter was better but the fried fish was very salty and fettuccine Alfredo wasn't like Alfredo... That was like white sauce pasta .they were supposed to serve Brownie with ice cream with Italian platter but they just serve Brownie. There mutton platter was useless even though my husband got sick after eating that platter. They guys have good Ambience but quality of the food isn't good enough anymore.
