The Playa de Biarritz is a very nice beach complex in the heart of Biarritz. The place is full of colorful crowds and invites you to go for a walk, surf the sun, or simply enjoy a coffee in one of the numerous cafés. A very nice, vibrant place on the west coast of France.

Nice beach in the heart of Biarritz. Iconic tent rental is available here. We paid €25 for 2 deckchairs and the tent. Good value especially when is rained. Clean toilet facilities nearby. Also just up the hill you can rent surfboards or book lessons.

The beautiful beach of Biarritz, a famous French resort city which faces the Atlantic Ocean, so it seems cooler than Cannes or Perpignan which faces the Mediterranean Sea. So nice place.

Visiting Playa de Biarritz was an absolute delight! The option to rent a tent right on the beach was a game-changer, offering both convenience and comfort. The stretch of beach itself was nothing short of stunning – golden sands meeting the azure waters of the Bay of Biscay. For those seeking adventure, the abundance of surf opportunities was a dream come true. With waves suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to experienced surfers, the beach truly caters to every water enthusiast. And the added assurance of a lifeguard on duty allowed me to fully enjoy the waves while feeling safe. A standout feature was the live web cam providing real-time views of the beach. It's a fantastic way to check the conditions, see how busy it is, and perhaps even spot friends who might be there. It's like carrying a piece of the beach with you wherever you go!

Nice beach to enjoy with calm waters and a large rock pooling area to enjoy. Not many surfers as well.

One of my favourite beaches I have been so far. Love the ocean waves and the People are very friendly and helpful.

A solid 2/5. The view is impeccable, the sea is the perfect temperature and has nice waves. -3 stars cause they allow a poors on the beach which isn’t ideal. +2 stars cause I’m also poor and they let me in

Schöner großer Sandstrabd der nicht überfüllt war. Man muss nur höllisch aufpassen das man in den gekennzeichneten Zonen bleibt. Mein Sohn wurde abgetrieben als er mit seinem Brett schwamm und kam dann auf ein Riff, wo er sich erst nicht befreien konnte. Nur die Surfer dort waren nervig, da diese einen die ganze Zeit angeschnauzt haben. Auch Rettungsschwimmer waren genügend da.

Beautiful beach, nice for a stroll and if you have time check out the palais!
