Pleasant small beach with gravel, so the water is very clear and the soil in the water is clearly recognisable. There aren’t many waves, which make this beach very relaxing. You can chill in the cold salty waters of Biarritz. Not to forget a great place for kids. There is a small deck, where kids or even adults can jump into the water. And a great bar is also not far from the beach. Note that this beach can get very crowded . 4 star ⭐️

Beautiful beach on the edge of the old town. Slightly more protected than the main beach where the surf and waves can be quite powerful. Picturesque!

My favorite place in Biarritz to spend some time. This beach is beautiful the vibes are awesome and the sunsets here are unreal.

Ein kleiner Strand mit Kies, dadurch ist das Wasser sehr klar und der Boden im Wasser ist klar erkennbar. Durch die Lage ist das Wasser an der Stelle sehr sehr ruhig.

Great place to view a full moon over the port, if you time it just right (or are very lucky) to be there on such a night, walking through mostly deserted streets down to the Plage du Port Vieux, just you, the ocean, and a great big moon low in the sky… 🌝

The first time i go at Plage du Port Vieux i was amazing and it is very safe because there ar many life guard. This is the best beach I like the most in France🥰

Der kleinste Strand in Biarritz inmitten der Innenstadt. Anders als die anderen war der Strand sehr voll. Restaurant und Café ringsherum.

Schöner Strand, aber nur von weitem, denn im Wasser schwimmt viel Plastik, Pflaster, brauner Schaum und anderer Unrat. In Frankreich gibt es den Spruch "belle de loin, mais loin d'être belle", hier ist er leider zutreffend! ☹️ Ich verstehe nicht, warum die Behörden keine drastischen Maßnahmen zur Vermeidung von Verunreinigung "an der Quelle" (z.B. im Fluß Adour) vornehmen. Das passt nicht zu dem modernen, ökologischen Anspruch, den man sonst hier hat 🤷‍♂️
