EPOQ was an epic experience. Sat in the bistro section and asked the amazing cook Luke to suggest various dishes for us. He did not disappoint! What we liked most was the sustainability aspect of using all of the food materials, also the ones you would not usually expect. The broccoli “heart” and the seafood dishes with an Asian side kick were especially pleasing. Great service, great wine suggestions, and top food. A dinner we will remember for a very long time and we are grateful to have had the experience.

Great vibe, warm welcome, friendly and helpful service throughout and best of all - fabulous food. We went for three courses, which were beautifully presented and delicious - and we enjoyed the wine recommendations as well. We're both vegetarian, and it was a treat to have so many varied options to choose from. Oh and loved the music too. Already looking forward to going back next time we're in Biarritz.

We had an amazing lunch at Epoq. Service was great and fast. The cocktail was delicious. Now the food. It was amazing. The produces were obviously well picked, and everything we picked was delightful, from start to finish. One of the best lunch I did this year.

Spectacular. Well done. If I could give 6 stars I would. Impeccable service, great selection of wines, grwat ambience, food quality is above and beyond. The tuna tartare was "ok", but the rest was exceptional - highly recommend the bavette, grilled tuna belly, veal tartare & tuna sashimi with caviar. This is one of the best meals I’ve had in France. The food isn’t traditional French food, so if that’s what you’re looking for don’t eat here. The food is French inspired but mixed with cultures from across the globe. We started with the ravioli which was savory and delicious. For a main course I had the steak and my partner a tuna special. The steak was cooked blue, it was really tasty with an excellent sauce. The tuna was extremely fresh and tasted like it had been caught less than 24 hours prior. If you’re in the area I highly recommend a visit. Unlike most restaurants in the area it’s not a tourist cafe looking to take your money and give you mediocre food. We also went here on a food tour and had excellent baos here.

Had an absolutely amazing experience at EPOQ. The service was fantastic as our waiter helped us to translate every single dish on the menu and make the right choice. The cocktails are very creative and the food was very well balanced - the octopus and the plate of seasonal vegetables were the best ones. Make sure you make a reservation - we came 30 min after they opened and were able to get the last table upstairs. There is also a bar section downstairs but it has a different menu more of the bar snacks and drinks. For dinning out in Biarritz for dinner that is not too touristy but hype and creative EPOQ is the right place to come. Our plan is to come back for lunch next time.

We had a great night at EPOQ, we were a group of 6 in the mezzanine. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was super friendly. I recommend the tuna ventreche, it's super soft and tasty. The mezzanine could be a bit more decorated, it's not as nice as the rest of the restaurant.

Outstanding associations, locally &/or responsibly sourced products, from veggies to wine and spirits. Chef is dedicated and very hands-on while yet being approachable. Team is lovely as well. I had a very nice time and dinner. I enjoyed the anchovy tart which was astonishing really and creative, before tasting the Talo with Red Thuna (with chorizo accents), and the grilled carrots with trumpets. I wish I had more room and strongly recommend this address !

Wow, what an amazing spot! Our surf instructor recommended this place to us and said it was the best spot in town, and usually I would take that sort of thing with a grain of salt... but he was right! We are staying at Hotel du Palais and the food and service at Epoq was WAY better than our hotel restaurant!!! We arrived a bit late but they seated us anyways and they were so extremely gracious - more hospitable than anywhere I've eaten in France so far. The server took his time and explained every single item on the menu, he was responsive to questions, and many workers (chefs, servers, etc) checked on us to ensure we were enjoying our meal throughout. Amazing service! Now the food! Oh my God, the food!! We ordered small plates and starters which allowed us to try 5 of these amazing dishes and left extremely full :). My favorite taste was the thinly sliced tuna (?) prepared like a salted ham and served in olive oil (it tasted like Virginia ham, so delcious!) - glass thin, great texture, so savory! My favorite presentation was the anchovy poptart-like dish - so cleanly put together and the flowers made it look soooo cute. I'm usually not an anchovy person, but this was delicious! I would 100% recommend this restaurant to any one visiting biarritz. This was one of the most pleasantly surprising culinary experiences I had in the south of France; Epoq certainly rivals many Michelin starrred restaurants.

We had a great time at Epoq !! Food was beyond good, high quality produce and amazing/intresting flavours !! The anchovy tart especially stood out. Service was very good, everyone knew the card well and could give advice. They were incredibly kind and hard working. Good wine selection too. Merci beaucoup and bravo !

What a wonderful experience. We had a 4 course meal, a bottle of wine, two cocktails. Our waitress was excellent, we had a great wine recommendation based on our tastes. The quality of the food for the price we paid is exceptional !

Interesting and tasty dishes. Favourite was the Bao style buns starter with fermented/acidity/lemon peel? Plus sweet bun. Hip and cool atmosphere (not posh). Small-ish. Recommend sitting at the counter - we had great service by one of the bartender's that really made the evening. As another reviewer said - the hostess at the door is very arrogant, and booking a table is rather unpleasant...but the rest of the staff were really friendly and good with recommendations! Small-ish place. Reservation recommend We are a Swiss/Swedish/living in London couple in our thirties.

The food was delicious, especially the new cepe dish they had just put on the menu that day. The produce is always very seasonally driven, and carefully selected. The decor and ambience is warm, modern and friendly.

The fusion cuisine is amazing delicious, and the frequently-changed menu is much appreciated by us, that’s why we could come here for 3 consecutive days, each day we had different meals like in a different restaurant. Staffs here are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Environment is cozy and well-decorated. The only thing I can suggest is to cover the bread and cheese well , not to let them widely open to the air near the front door where everyone can pass by , doesn’t seem very sanitary and it cause the bread dry and hard to eat. Overall, we will definitely come back every time when we visit Biarritz .
