They made us wait in the line for 2.5 hours to access the bar only lying about the waiting time. They have no respect and no communication. Our Saturday night was supposed to be fun and it only made us annoyed. Thanks 🤙🏼

Fun beach side cabana in Biarritz. Great place to relax by the beach and enjoy a drink and some snacks on a sunny day. The beach is quite busy and a little dirty (litter everywhere) so it's quite nice to get a spot in Blue Cargo to relax. The place gets quite packed, so come early to reserve a spot.

Very nice place! The views are amazing, good variety of dishes but you will get much better food quality and taste in other places in the area with that price! Very good experience overall.

Where should I start? We came for dinner. Best recommendation would be to NOT go there. Here is why: They rely entirely on their location, it’s perfect hence it feels like land robbery. I ordered a Margarita and told our waiter to please make it “skinny” ( sans sucre) and spicy 🌶️. The bar tender prepared it as usual and after my complaint I was told they only have Tabasco 🙈… The water was “gazeuse” instead of flat, minor, but it shows that there is zero attention to detail. The trilogy of mezze was ok but nothing to write home about. Now, main course, OMG, the linguine with “grosse Gamba”. An insult for any food lover. Overcooked pasta with a tasteless tomato sauce and one big fat Gamba sitting on top to make it look precious. I feel sorry for the staff bc they at least try, but honestly the team doesn’t know how to run this place. Change the Bar Tender and the Chef would be a start…

With a stunning beachfront view and a convenient location near downtown Biarritz, just 5 minute deiving, The Blue Cargo Restaurant offers decent casual food. The real attraction lies in the mesmerizing terrace and its breathtaking scenery. Keep in mind that finding parking nearby can be a challenge. For a relaxed dining experience with an incredible view, Blue Cargo is worth a visit.

Great place, very friendly and with a great sea view

Had a wonderful lunch on the beach. Made reservation 2 weeks in advance and got a beach facing table. The three starters were the Tomato Burrata, Watermelon Salad and Salmon Gravalax. (See picture) For main course the Fish of the Day ( Dorado) and the Salmon. All were excellent. Would not have put watermelon and feta cheese together....but glad BC did! For dessert we did the fresh berries, Gateaux Basque and Chocolate/Raspberry ice cream And as a bonus, we can officially say we have been to France!

One of the best experiences in terms of service, setting, ambiance and food I’ve had in a long time. Merci du Canada! ;) Le Blue Cargo will be in my memories forever. Until next year!

Fantastic spot, excellently decorated and spaced out, plenty of smart waiting staff and one of the best places for lunch in the sun you’ll find in Biarritz. Not a 5* review as we did get the feeling they were trying to get us in and out far too fast for people who want to spend the afternoon having a few more drinks in a lovely setting and I understated the concept of 2 sittings for lunch but the reality was there was virtually no tables taken in this ‘second sitting’ as we were hurried along (and continued not to be as we argued to stay a little longer) - slightly odd behaviour not to check whether you actually need to turf out people that want to spend money for bookings that don’t actually exist. Oh and the margaritas...don’t get them. Terrible. Other food and drink was brilliant though, don’t miss it

Very good food, the waiters are polite and know everything they need to know. The food was prepared and given to us in almost a record time. A great place to go if you need a bit of high class, and there is a bar/club downstairs for the late hours.

Amazing place, the service was great and food exceptional. The louvine in a salt crust was beautifully cooked. Views were also wonderful. All round a superb place.

The visit was from the start "embarrassment", because we didn't have reservation we got the worst table, shaking like in a poltergeist experience. The kitchen, dishes were just right, but the "service à table" should be improved. And guys, you are in the middle of the Plage d'ile Biarritz , you should receive anyone in your place without reservation. It is a touristic area.

Restaurant with a good atmosphere, very nice background music and very correct service. Regarding the food, nothing to complain about, it was very good.

Good views, normal food, horrible staff. They are extremely late, unfriendly and of course they don’t even speak Spanish or English. Overvalued 100%
