Really good seafood, you can see it in the chiller on the way in! fresh and tasty, has baked potatoes instead of fries, which were excellent with the cream sauce. Average 11€ for starters and €25 for a main dish. Caters well for children and friendly helpful staff. If the car park is full next to the restaurant there is 1 at the top of the hill above it, accessible via some steps. We hadn't booked but got in ok, the restaurant was virtually full though. Well worth a visit.

Had to wait outside for about 10-15 minutes before going in, and our table was way too small but the food and the service were really good. I took the New Zealand lamb dish which was delicious.

Tantina de la playa bidart is a lovely restaurant right by one of bidarts beaches. Amazing terrace views of the sea and surfers. The atmosphere and service are brilliant, and as you enter you can see the fresh fish on display in front of their kitchen. The food was outstanding. I would recommend making a reservation as it is quite a popular place to go!

Tantina in Bidart is consistently good and a favorite of mine. They use the freshest ingredients in their offerings. Even the fish is on display prior to cooking. They also have great wines and desserts. Especially outstanding is the super friendly and accommodating staff - from chefs to servers to management. You won't be disappointed!

Great location, great service, awesome seafood. The fish is fresh, cooked to perfection, the dishes are simple but delicious, I highly recommend!

We had lunch on our way from Spain to the French Pyrennees. What a wonderful spot to sit right at the beach and enjoy fresh oysters and fish. Just a little glass of wine because of the trip later the afternoon into the mountains. It was worth the detour!

Went for lunch with my family. We ate seafood (oysters, shrimps) and fish (dorad). The quality of the products is great and the cooking is reasonable. Overall a great restaurant for seafood with a beautiful front plage view of the ocean. I point out that the restaurant is difficult to access for people with reduced mobility, since one can only reach it through several flights of stairs. Also, the dining room is not very large which makes the place noisy when crowded.

Wonderful, fresh seafood served in really beautiful ways, all in front of a big panoramic sea view window. Stunning in every way. Highly recommend the grilled mussels! Only disappointment was being too full for dessert 😊

If you like fresh seafood you won't find better on this part of the coast. Full on a Monday night in September even though there were amber weather warnings in place. Locals and tourists enjoying their meals in equal numbers. Highly recommended.
