We always enjoy shopping at Hermann König and appreciate the variety of beautiful gift ideas and culinary delicacies. An excellent address for unusual spices, delicious chocolates, wines, spirits, coffees, teas and also small pastries. Also very commendable is the friendly and competent whiskey advice and the lovingly wrapped gift afterwards.

Selten wurde ich in einem Geschäft so unhöflich und inkompetent bedient. Ich hatte den Laden betreten in der Hoffnung, Kaffeegewürz erwerben zu können. Leider war nicht nur keines erhältlich, sondern es war dem Herrn Verkäufer auch gar nicht bekannt. Doch was mich am meisten verärgert hat, war sein unfreundliches und hochnäsiges Verhalten daraufhin - im Flüsterton unterhielt sich der Verkäufer mit seiner Kollegin und mokierte sich über meine Person. So etwas wie Kaffeegewürz würde es ja seiner Meining nach überhaupt nicht geben. Schade, Schokolade - da frage ich wohl besser bei Herrn Schubeck, Manufactum, Herbaria oder Just Spices nach Kaffeegewürz, da wird sich auch nicht über mich lustig gemacht.

I was here with my girlfriend and her friends at a gin tasting on the occasion of a birthday. The tasting was wonderful and the dishes served with the gin as well as the selection of gin were excellent and very tasty. The organizer was able to create a wonderful atmosphere with a lot of knowledge and nice anecdotes and little stories. I can only recommend anyone who is interested in gin or other specialties offered here to stop by and perhaps attend a tasting.

A very long time ago I regularly bought my tea from Königs with the greatest pleasure and to my utmost satisfaction. I was young and keen to experiment, and so I was able to try out a wide variety of varieties until the decision was made. The saleswoman held out the large tea tins in which the teas were stored so cleverly that I could capture the aroma of the tea and yet so far away that hygiene was satisfied. A sensual ceremony that preceded that of drinking tea in the most beautiful way. 💕

Ich bin mehr als begeistert. Ich habe für unsere Kunden bei Kaffe König Weihnachtspräsente bestellt. Wegen der tollen Beratung durch Herrn Ebeler und die unglaubliche Auswahl an den verschiedensten kulinarischen Spezialitäten und exquisiten Weinen, war die Zusammenstellung der Präsente schnell besprochen. Unsere Kunden sind von der Zusammenstellung von Wein, Schokolade und Keksen hellauf begeistert. Ich wurde jetzt schon mehrfach gefragt, von wo wir die Kekse bezogen haben. Ich werde zukünftig den Weg von Herford nach Bielefeld auf mich nehmen, um bei Kaffe König für mich privat einzukaufen. Very nice goods. I wasn't spoken to, found something and went to the checkout. The lady cashed in. I asked to wrap the bottle as a gift. She said yes and walked away to serve another customer very nicely. I waited for some time. An older lady asked if I would be served. I said the lady went away. She packed it for me. No apology. My grandfather used to buy a lot here.
