I am in Bilbao for the Champions Cup final and have had a fabulous experience in general until we went for Pinxtos in Restauante Atseden - I did my best to order in Spanish and the barman openly made fun of me with other Spanish patrons. It was humiliating and unnecessary. The experience was upsetting and left a very poor impression of Basque people.

Wonderful small restaurant with absolutely delicious pintxos! I visited on a foodie tour and really enjoyed it!

The prices are differ from menu in the bill,put us 5 eur more ,they will bring you bread to main dish and ask to pay extra money after,waitress was very rude,we have to ask for a administrator to solve the problem and the food is bad Not recommend this place

Great tapas, good beer, terrible coffee and surly service. One lady is just chaotic. Probably avoid if you want to have an enjoyable experience eating tapas

Coffee: Burnt Txakoli: Flat Service: Rude (apparently serving English people with broken (but perfectly intelligible Spanish) is too much of a chore. Overall: Avoid.

The steak was overcooked. Probably one of the worst options in Bilbao. However, the kitchen works till late

The food and the service are really good, i went with some friends and was good to see they have food for those friend with special needs (like celiac diet and all that stuff) and they take good care in let you know what the ingredients are in the food.
