πŸ‘πŸ‘ What a surprising bar! Great locally brewed beers, friendly staff and I loved the actual building, upstairs is beautiful. Never been to a bar that sold chocolate and sweets before (couldn't resist a Mars bar) and they have a loyalty card for the local beers. First visit, and it was great. Very good range of craft ales, plenty of seating. Very spacious with good decor.

Love this pub! One of my favourites in Birmingham. Tastefully decorated, inside Birmingham's iconic Victorian Arcade. Never too busy either even on weekends, can usually find a seat in the lovely upstairs area that overlooks the arcade.

Nice chilled out bar located within a lovely arcade, apparently it is the UK’s first non for profit bar, which I am more than happy to support. Service is good and very attentive staff. Not my first visit and definitely not my last.

I passed this place a few times before and finally visited tonight where I had a warm welcome from Ollie the barman. Had a nice San Miguel reasonably priced. If you’re in Birmingham central I highly recommend a visit

Very good Craddock's Brewery pub in a former shop in the lovely Great Western Arcade opposite Birmingham Snow Hill Station. Six cask ales on handpump when I visited. Lots of outdoor seating all of it covered. The pub is one of the UK's first not for profit bars and will be donating all of its profits to local charities.

Good Intent is a cosy pub situated in the Great Western Arcade at the heart of Birmingham city centre. It is a great place to host small events and enjoy some quality time with friends over some drinks. I went for the first time to attend a Meet Up event and it was fun !

My mate took us to this hidden gem, I have walked through the Great Western Arcade many times but have never imbibed here. Apparently you can hire the upstairs room for free as they make their money off the beer. It's a not for profit venue so deserves our support. The beers are good and the seating upstairs is fantastic. We will be back here soon.

Super pub. Love the beer selection. It is not often that you find wheat beer/ Weiss beer on tap in Birmingham, never mind the UK. You get it here some times. It is located in the Great Western Arcade, which is a strip full of interesting specialist shops. I’ve always found a table here, and the atmosphere has been spacious and relaxing.

Nipped in for a very quick drink, staff excellent and happy to tell me about their different independent ales and make a recommendation. Really clean, good music and the beer outstanding.

A hidden gem. Great customer service - friendly bar tenders. Welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Reasonable priced drinks and good variety. We only had 10 mins to spend here before catching the train (it’s a 2 minute walk to Snow Hill station). Would have loved to stay a bit longer and will definitely go back again. 100% recommend to anyone who wants a relaxed pint.

Massively impressed by this place. I'm in town less now for work, but The Good Intent has been recommended by a few people for whenever I am in. So I gave it a go and it's a cracking place. The staff were really friendly, the beer was great and they serve really nice cobs. What else could you want (Β£7.95 for a pint and a cob). I think it will become my regular.

Great place - we hosted some leaving drinks for a colleague here recently, they were very happy to provide a sectioned-off area for us, manager was really helpful, even turned the music down for the boss's little speech! Only negative for me was the range of drinks, not a lot there tickled my fancy, very heavy on the 'real ales'.

Surprisingly spacious, very well maintained pub in the centre of the Great Western Arcade. It has a sort of Victorian industrial feel to it. Good range of drinks and a proportion of their profits are donated to charity.

Really nice place. Good ales and friendly service. I like the idea that some of the profit goes to deserving causes too.

Awesome place. A real gem hidden in snow hill. They were playing some awesome goth music in there.

A very scared looking bar tender would not serve a group of boisterous individuals yesterday. We were boisterous because 3 individuals were sitting quietly talking about the poll tax while 2 others calmy tried to buy a round of drinks. Very strange. We are all in our 50s, so we are obviously out to cause trouble. It also probably explains why there were so few people there if this was the attitude on display. Lord forbid people talking in a pub at Christmas time. Utter rubbish.

Super friendly tenders. Nice atmosphere inside. My beer was served in a super nice etched glass. They let me buy one for a donation to their charity. Beer was very good. Really enjoyed my visit here.

An interesting pub in central Birmingham. Brilliant product and very friendly staff. Had a number of cask, keg and craft beers. Really impressed. Have used it several times since it opened 4 years ago and will do so again!
