Had a great time at Karaoke Box, first time visiting and we loved the concept. There is a great choice of songs and the drinks are fairly priced. I must say that Kevin was really helpful throughout the night as were the other staff Tia, Dora, Shay and Ayo. Many thanks for your help. I will be recommending this place to my friends.

The place was great, kareoke was fun. If the staff weren't so miserable and rude I'd give it a higher rating. I've never seen people want to be at a place less than when I was here, and I work in retail!

Now let's be honest, unless you work there - I don't think many people have been in this place sober. So here's a drunk-ish man's review of place. Was the place clean? who knows.🤷‍♂️ Where the drinks cheap? Who knows.🤷‍♂️ I handed over a card and that was that. Now the important questions; Was the song library big enough? yup! It had everything we wanted. Was it loud enough and awesome enough? Yup... I've been here a few times. Did it make me sound like a good singer? While drunk; Hell yes! The next morning when I watching a video back; NOPE! (not the venues fault. I can't sing)

Incredible experience but would recommend booking in advance as it can be pretty pricey otherwise. There was no Aircon in our room for a long time, causing it to be a very hot and dehydrating time 😂 and some songs didn't work, so we were offered a free round of drinks which was super nice. This place is really kitted out to have the best private karaoke rooms in town. It's clean, premium feeling with great sound quality. We had a great time!

Booked a room for a few hours, good choice of songs and there's something for everyone. Polite and helpful staff. Only downside was the rooms became very hot and there was no obvious way to cool it other than opening the door which wasn't ideal!

Generally poor. Messed about on entry for over 40 minutes due to the bar staff being completely unhelpful (and unpleasant). When we finally got the help we needed, our online booking (which I had to pre-pay for) was not found. Thankfully we were slotted in, but the microphones and music quality were poor and wait times for drinks were huge. Alright if there’s nothing else to go to but otherwise I couldn’t recommend it.

There was a big group of us who came around 1am and Tia was amazing! Great experience and will definitely be back :)

Great place for a good sing song, staff were very friendly and polite, its abit hidden just off board street but not hard to find, had the best night with family singing lots a great songs, with plenty of songs to choose from. Would definitely recommend this place if you just want too have fun and laugh lots 😊😄 fab night out

Website says has Arabic songs… clearly a lie. The store assistant stated it was put online to bring more customers in, but infact there is no Arabic songs. Me and my friend were annoyed, we drove all the way to the venue based on the NON existent Arabic music!!!! Doesn’t have many modern British songs. If you are below the age of 50, not much variety.

The place itself was nice but that was kind of overthrown by the fact that the staff working there was so rude and unhelpful actually tutting and pulling faces in response to questions I was asking, even after I’ve said it was the first time we had been there but the night got better when we just stayed in our room and didn’t go up to the bar honestly wouldn’t recommend it after last nights experience which is a shame because honestly, it was only the way we were dealt with and nothing to do with the actual karaoke experience

So kind, humble and accommodating. The manager and staff all are awesome. Gave us a discount as well. One of the best nights we ever had and made possible due to awesome staff. Gave me a complimentary drink as well. We mostly played Nigerian and English music and it was such an awesome experience. Everyone from my class enjoyed it. Highly recommend it.

I have been here twice, I love the concept and really enjoy karaoke. Too be honest, my only issue is that twice we have had issues with the microphones, the staff make out they're trying but in actual fact they didn't do much to resolve the issue. I honestly think they depend on people that intoxicated so they don't notice this issue. As, twice I have been and this has happened. First time in 2020 and second 5.02.22, please can this be fixed.

Didn't eat or drink, just had a fun karaoke session with my friends. Lots of fun, lots of laughter and a new found respect for singers. Oh my lordt, it takes a lot out of your voice box. Singers are truly talented.

Clean karaoke and bar rooms, good service, great song choices but awful toilets

This bar seems more focused on sticking to their rules rather than making more money. Once our time was up we were told someone was already waiting for our booth so couldn't add on more time. It was still empty when we left. Great for the actual karaoke though.

First impressions weren’t good, unfortunately. The young man seeing to us was super rude. He wouldn’t look up, was chewing gum, used his fingers to indicate numbers rather than words. I told him there and then he was rude and this was poor customer service. He said he didn’t realise eye contact was included in customer service. So a smart alex too, apparently. Once in the room we had a great time, but it became super hot very quickly so we asked if there was one with air con. We did get moved, but it didn’t make much of a difference. When we arrived a big group had their door propped open, but after a short while, we realised it was probably for fresh air/to cool down. The heat didn’t ruin our experience, but I’d not want to attend in the height of summer/in anything more than a light outfit. The system is really easy to use and the mics sounded great. A good selection of songs and some curated lists for inspiration. The ladies had no toilet roll and this was reported by one of our group. A little while later there was still none, so I went and reported/asked for some. I filled all the toilet, which seemed to make the guy working there break character and cheer up a bit. It’s not a big deal, but a little frustrating that it had been reported and nothing done about it. I got the impression he was on his own so that might have been the problem. We walked in rather than pre-booking and it cost us £35 per hour. The hour goes very quickly so we paid for a second. It’s not cheap, but it’s super fun and the drinks aren’t excessively priced compared to other places. Overall not bad, but Roxy Ballroom is better.

Really enjoyed it here! If you want private karaoke rooms to enjoy with you and your friends, this is the place to go

Unfortunately our room smelt absolutely disgusting!!! Think someone had had an accident in there before we arrived or they have a sewerage issue, either way the room was not fit for use. When we told the staff they just sprayed air freshener in there, We should have been moved to another room. Staff were not friendly and definitely don't enjoy working there!!!! Bad customer service

Came with a group of 12 and we had a good time. The room we booked was not working and they moved us into a bigger room and compensated our time which was great. Bar staff were incredibly slow on the bar which was annoying and made you miss a lot of time in the room. Also there is a strange clause when you book: “We have a minimum requirement of one drink per customer purchased from the bar (alcoholic/non-alcoholic). There is a 12.5% service charge fee for our customers added onto the room tab. The tab holder is responsible for the payment and if the bill is not settled, we reserve the right to charge the card left with us.” The staff did not seem to know about this but it seemed an incredibly predatory thing and something to worry about when just trying to let loose and belt out some hits. Song choices are brilliant and the mics have controls on the wall which is really good.

The karaoke was good fun but the room felt very hot due to no AC. We were told by the staff there was no AC only after we already paid at the till. Customers should be given the choose to proceed or not to proceed paying for the room on this basis.

Put into a room with a system that wouldn’t queue songs, wouldn’t play songs and the staff’s response was ‘we’d have to turn everyone’s off to reset/update so you’ll just have to use the songs that work’. We had an hour and sang about 6 songs before someone came in and took the microphones off us because our hour was up. The place also has a body odour issue.

Love this hidden gem of Broad Street. Visited for the first time and can't wait to go again. Reasonable priced and such great fun. A great place to sing all your trouble away in a private booth with your friends/family. Definetly recommend 👌

Good for a stag. £3.95 for a bottle of beer which I thought was alright. Good choice of songs but I felt the touch screen wasn't working right. Lots of mispressed letters.

Couldn't of asked for a better time! Lovely receptionist and just a nice booth to sing out your heart in. Really enjoyed here and really recommend it.

Never been before had a cracking time

A great night out. We were not sure if we would want to be singing non stop for three hours but decided to give it a go and loved it, we kept going right up to the end. Definitely want to go back again :)

Had a great time last night!. Booked as a surprise for my sister's 40th. She loved it and Had a great laugh and would highly recommend. The staff seemed a little off and perhaps need to smile and remember people are there to celebrate some thing special!.

Love the concept of this place. Gives the karaoke shy the opportunity to sing in safety with only friends as the audience! The only thing that for me it misses is being able to order to your booth. But this may have changed since I went last. Great fun!! Highly recommended!!

Really good fun. We all loved it in the Toy Car Room and would definitely go again! Would recommend booking 2 hours rather than an hour.

The only problem here was... the rude lad and bouncer who BARGED into our room and told us we had to get out as management has said our time is up... our time was not up and they were SO RUDE! A room of girls enjoying a sing song and they flung the door open and rudely told us to get out! Now ... they were late letting us into the room so our 2 hours we paid for was NOT up! They couldn't prove otherwise after apparently checking CCTV! The only saving grace was the very polite lady who came to apologise and tell us it was her fault as to why they barged in at that time! .. she didn't need to apologise. Those men did! The only reason we will go back is cause of her! Otherwise we had fun!

Loved our evening here. Bar staff were efficient and friendly and the facilities were great. I lost my voice and my dignity and I didn't care!

Came back again in april 2022. Another great night 2 hours. In a room for 9 of us. Even the guys from london were singing. Can you have more up to date songs the other ladies were asking?

I went here last Saturday for my birthday,when arriving the guy at the desk was miserable and rude,I booked for 7 people but some were running late so asked if he will please let them know what room we were in so I could carry on but he said no he can't. So I just asked the doorman who said he would.Apart from that it was a great night,Tia let us know when we were down to our last two songs an was very nice and friendly.
