Immerse yourself in the exciting world of aviation thanks to exciting enthusiasts. I learned a plethora of things (especially about the Concorde and the caravelle). To be enjoyed without delay; and plan to dress warmly as most of the visit is outdoors Finally, you will be able to test your piloting skills on an A 330 simulator!

A good time discovering these old planes. Some are currently being restored, while others evoke distant memories, like this Hunter from the Swiss army, very present on the tarmac of Sion airport in the 60s and 70s. Bravo to these enthusiasts for the time spent in the restaurant and thank you to the person present at the reception for the interesting dialogue which continued for a good while.

Impressive "graveyard" of planes and helicopters which allows us to see the evolution of aviation and take a little dive into history. I didn't think I would one day see some of these carcasses with my own eyes.

This is basically a graveyard for old planes. There's even a tombstone made out of plane's stabilizer (very creative and a nice touch by the way) The £5 entry fee is not much but since it's next to the Aeroscopia, visitors generally don't want to pay anything on top and just skip it. This little collection would get way more visitors if it was a standalone attraction or the entry fee was included as part of the Aeroscopia.

More than 20 planes and helicopters, you should visit it if you go to aeroscopia, it’s very near. Some of the planes aren’t in great conditions and they don’t give explanations of them but it still being a perfect place.

I visited Association Ailes Anciennes in July 2011. It is a spectacular place for lovers of the aeronautical world and the managers are people who are also retired from the aeronautical world and they allow you to enter all the planes, take photographs and tell anecdotes. By that date there were the Concorde, the A300B, the Super Guppy and the Caravelle from Air Toulouse. Currently they were taken to the new Aeroscopia museum.

Spectacular museum if you like classic airplanes. Although there is a lot of scrap material, necessary for repairs, it is full of charm

Passionate guides, a wealth of knowledge on machines and aviation, authentic atmosphere, aircraft in their original state, rare parts... To do for enthusiasts and with children during cockpit visit days.

This place was my favourite visit of my time in Toulouse. The place is operated by volunteers - people who love planes and preserving aerospace history. You can talk to anyone working there and feel their passion. Each plane has an active history as well as a story about how it got to be on display. Its "hidden" beside the larger museum aeroscope. The range of planes and variety here is incredible. I don't think there is enough room to house more! Check out the "voodoo" if you can while there - its got a lot of background story and is one of only 3 in europe.

A must for aviation fans! Various rarities! The owners are very friendly and accommodating. From the outside it looks a bit chaotic but it's definitely worth it!

We were particularly happy to be on a special cockpit day. A wonderful experience! The volunteers share their knowledge for your old aircraft with joy and passion and a magnifique accent in English: not to be missed..

If you are an airplane fan, this is a must! The people working there are very nice and they can tell you everything about the collection. You can get closeup to all of the airplanes, walk by them, take photos and see how they restore airplanes! Also, there is a gift shop filled with really interesting products (also most of them are cheaper than those in the Aeroscopia store). Completely worth it!

A large and eclectic mix of decommissioned aircraft in varying states of completeness. I understand there is some ongoing restoration as there is a workshop on site. I mentioned to the lovely guy on the front desk about what a shame it is that these frankly unique aircraft don't have a better home, considering Aeroscopia (which is disappointing in comparison). Only €6 if you've already gone to the other museum, well worth a stop and wander.

A true hidden gem, I'm sure every aircraft that has served in the Armee de l'air in the last 70 years is present here.

One for the real enthusiasts but such good value as to be worth a visit by the casual plane fan and enjoyable for children. Very reasonable entrance price with a great picnic area outside.

Very interesting open air aviation museum. Some aircraft are of historical value. Unfortunately not all are in good condition. Personnel very friendly and eager to give explanations. Absolutely interesting the corner with all sort of memorable items from the Concorde production.

Totally recommended for all airplane freaks! Amazing collection of classic planes. Passionate gentlemen working there explained us about those planes very kindly. They let us into the huge Breguet 765 which was totally exciting. We were soooo sad that we had to leave there earlier since we had an appointment for an Airbus factory tour (which was also interesting btw;)). I wish we had had enough time to enjoy the whole collection and the stories that is told by gentlemen. Everyone who is working for this museum and plane restoration work is filled with passion and love for aeroplanes and I truly appreciate for what they do. I liked this museum much more than the aeroscopia;) I will definitely visit here again someday!

Totally recommended. The aircraft may not be in the best display shape, but the people working there has an excellent attitude and lots of passion for the aircraft they are restoring there. Do not waste your money taking the airbus "tour" and instead prepare a couple of hours to have a great experience here at this restoration shop.
