Hidden away but worth the visit. Although it doesn't have grandeur from the outside it makes up for this in room, service and food quality. The portions aren't large but they are well prepared with flavour and texture in mind. Follow the recommendations and you can't go far wrong. The staff are pleasant and are extremely helpful when providing a breakdown of the menu. You are made to feel welcome and a valued customer from when you enter (well done manager). Not a large menu selection but this is made up by the food itself. The fact that you can book a table online and be replied to shortly after is a great aspect. A simple elegant set-up lends itself to a good dining experience. The service is fast and efficient with not long waits between plates (when the place is not full). It would be nice if the portions (specifically for the starter and dessert) were slightly larger. Overall a great dining experience.

Love the concept of only a choice of two fresh dishes of very high quality. It was a fine dining experience on an average persons budget. Exceptional.

My first return to this restaurant since Covid. I used to dine at least three or four times a year here. Very disappointed by the decline in the standard of food and it’s presentation especially for the price now been asked. Before it was very reasonable priced for ‘Haute Cuisine’ food. Maybe this is the reason why there were so few clients and as consequence no ´ambiance’. This morning I apologized to my colleagues for my choice restaurant.

Very nice restaurant, quite chic with artsy but delicious dishes. Some local beers are available as well as a good selection of wines.

Staying at the hotel next door and decided to try the local establishment. Excellent choice - great local food and wine. Highly recommend if in the area.

I used to love this place. This time the food was flat and didn't have the same love and energy put into it. We commented on a few things and the staff did nothing about it and didn't seem to care. Now i will not return again.
