I really wanted to leave a 5 star review, but couldn't. The rooms are spacious and modern. The breakfast is good. I can't give it 5 stars because of the atrium noise. Guests are to follow the quiet rules beginning at 9:00. There was a wedding reception that was still going strong at 11:00. The reception was in a ballroom/meeting room, but some of the the reception guests used the atrium. They were loud. Very loud. If paying guests are to follow the quiet hours, then should reception guests.

My experience here was no good. The room was dirty. The AC did not work. They charged for parking without notifying me that there would be a charge. The manager called me and tried to tell me it’s all my fault for not complaining to the front desk before check out. I left my iPad and came back for it and was told it would be waiting for me at the front desk. I get to the front desk and none of them know anything about it. This place has terrible customer service and terrible communication. I will never stay here again.

From the moment we walked in the door until we left, the staff made us feel welcomed and valued. After signing in to Hilton Honors to access the free wifi, I received a text asking if we needed anything. I mentioned a couple more towels and pillows would be good and they arrived in about ten minutes. I received a couple more informative texts during our stay which I appreciated as well. The room was spacious and included a separate sitting area with microwave and fridge and a large tv in each room. The bed and pillows were very comfortable as was the pull out sofa. The pool area was small but there was a two hour adult only swim at the end of the day which was really nice. Every morning there is a full hot breakfast buffet and made to order omelet bar that is included with your stay as is an evening Manager's Social with snacks and alcoholic beverages! What a nice surprise that was !! On our last day, I was greeted one more time with a text thanking us for our stay and and option to check out. We needed to split the total 5 ways so we opted to go down to the front desk, where the clerk handled that graciously and efficiently. Every person we encountered was friendly, helpful and truly made us feel welcomed. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.

We stayed here while visiting the Mall of America. The evening appetizers were a nice touch, the morning breakfast was of course spectacular. Beds were super firm but typical for a hotel. Pool seemed way too small for a hotel that size but the kids didn't care. Overall great experience.

The rooms are always clean and fresh. The hotel has a quiet and sophisticated atmosphere. Well lit parking lot. Courteous, professional and friendly staff.

NO pool! Pool was closed due to renovation! It’s thanksgiving weekend and it was closed! The receptionist at the front desk obviously saw I was upset! Instead of asking about setting up reservations to stay at Hilton next door to use the pool he just says to me I can use the pool! Breakfast was awful! Pancakes were watered down! No milk nor vanilla was used! If it wasn’t for adding donut balls to it to compensate along with syrup to help! I ended up not eating breakfast for the last two days I was there! The cereal was stale! Orange juice was tasty! My daughter tried the crepes and says it was missing vanilla and sugar! Hashbrowns were cold! Friday evening cops were called, looked like an altercation between employee and a guest! Felt like I stayed at a motel and the stay was not worth my time nor money! I no longer have Hilton as an app to find hotels!!! Very disappointed!!! I was not able to use Netflix as an option on the television! What a disappointment! Motels have this option and allows guests to make there own waffles and tastes amazing! I’ve paid half the price for motel as opposed to Embassy and had better experience!!! Pool was always available for us to use!!! Breakfast was far better and hot! They had cereal boxes so cereal was fresh not stale!!!! I spent $800 for four days and felt like I spent $500! Was not worth it!

Overall very good but the room was very hot and the thermistor would not change to a colder temperature. We ended up having the crake the balcony door. Couldn't fully open it cause it barely opened.

Had to spend the night after delayed flights. Hadn't eaten all day and was super thankful for the little corner of self-checkout items. Room was perfect and comfy. Gentleman at the desk was very kind and helpful Thank you Embassy Suites!

Very sad to find out the pool and hot tub were closed for renovations. There was no mention of this on their website. That’s the whole reason we chose this hotel. Very disappointed!! Also, got charged $10.85 twice. Parking? And $8.00 ?? Who knows what that is for!

Pretty standard Embassy Suites. The room was fairly comfortable. The bed was nice. The bathroom was a little small and felt kinda weird to have the door in the bedroom instead of in the hall. The view outside was not as good as I expected and I was disappointed that the sliding door didn't open enough to step out onto the tiny balcony. The breakfast was actually one of the best hotel buffet I have run into lately. Food was hot and tasty and there was a decent selection of the normal breakfast foods. Phillip at the front desk helped me out when my room wasn't ready when it was promised. He was able to hook me up with a complimentary upgrade to my room with free snacks and faster wifi, although I didn't really notice the wifi being any better than usual. Overall I definitely enjoyed my stay in this hotel.

We ended up at this hotel due to a flight cancellation and had a great experience! The hotel was great and the staff were superb. Food was good as well. We will (intentionally this time)come back again!

Toilet acted weird when we arrived and then backed up overflowed onto the floor the following night. Calling the front desk didn't help because no one ever come to help nor fix the issue, and then we listened to a yoweling dog for hours into the night. I am guessing it was because the owners left it alone in their room while they attended the wedding downstairs or something. Breakfast was good. The hot tub worked well and was hot, and everything looked clean. Upon checkout, the front desk associate listened to our concerns and offered points on our account for the issues we had the prior evening. Probably the standard offer. The points received didn't seem like they were enough for us not being able to use the toilet in our room for almost half our stay and being kept awake by the yowling from another guest's dog. I am assuming the front desk associate can only do so much. Overall, the experience was great for the first night. The second night was one of the worst experiences at a hotel we have had.

Loved this hotel! ,EZ access to Metro Rail - right in front. Plus, hotel offers Free Shuttle 😊Great Breakfast options with Cook-to-Order Eggs & typical Buffet. The nightly Manager's Reception was a sweet touch ~ Drinks & Snacks. Staff was pleasant, friendly & helpful. I'm recommending this to everyone planning a trip to Mall of America.

Hotel is in a good location, with easy access to highways and plenty of dining. Overall the hotel was updated and clean. It was a warm day for November and my room was 75-76°, and the thermostat would not let me move to "cool" mode. I called the front desk and they did send maintenance right away. Unfortunately the only "solution" offered was a box fan to put near my sliding door with no screen, right next to the train line and airport. Hard to believe a modern hotel cannot have a room switch to AC independent of the entire facility.

Front desk staff was awesome and knowledgeable. Our bathroom toilet sounded like a plane taking off and the room smelled funny. Great location and fun to watch planes take off. The 'balcony' windows were incredibly dirty- like hadn't been washed for years. Good breakfast options

In town for an overnight business trip. And we were concerned about being so close to the airport period we were very surprised that we did not hear any air traffic whatsoever despite the fact that the jets are flying overhead. The king suite was excellent . the entire place was updated several years ago. Breakfast was much better than anything that we've had in the past. And the crepes suzettes were extraordinary. Swimming area was clean and updated. However, the hot tub was a bit cooler than hoped for, and the jets are weak. Won't help an aching back! Beds are great.

I’ve stayed at this Embassy Suites a couple of times now, and it’s one of my favorites. As a frequent traveler and a Hilton Diamond member, I keep an eye out for several items when I stay at a Hilton. Service: the front desk checked us into the hotel with no issues, handling large groups of business people and young sports teams with ease while they were at it. The service at the bar was also excellent. Room Temperature: I’ve been incredibly disappointed with the climate control in a number of Hilton properties recently. This one was a breath of fresh air. I like to sleep sub 70 degrees and the room held the temp throughout the night. Water Pressure and temp: A long day of travel requires a great shower and this hotel provided that. This hotel was clean, the rooms were comfortable, and the breakfast was hot. A pretty standard Embassy Suites that met and exceeded expectations. Highly recommend if you are spending time in the cities or flying in and out of MSP!

Embassy Suites is my favorite hotel chain because of the size of the rooms, the layout of the hotel common areas, and the amenities they provide, and this hotel is everything I like about Embassy Suites hotels. This seems like a very modern hotel, like it was recently built. The indoor hot tub is quite large and they have windows above to provide a view of trees and sky instead of just a wall. The breakfast is terrific, as is customary for ES, with their omelet station and a wide variety of breakfast foods and beverages. Everything works as it should, and the attention to detail is everywhere, such as providing lots of plugs for your electronics. They seem to think of everything to make your stay comfortable. I can't think of anything to criticize here.

This is probably the best Embassy Suites there is in the US. The overall building is freshly updated. The rooms are clean and cool; and there must be some noise canceling material in the wall because it's very quiet. There is friendly staff everywhere you look. The cocktail hour has a plethora of options and variety of snacks. The breakfast is the best I've had in any Embassy. Shout out to the cook for cooking amazing omelets 10...yes...10 at a time to perfection. Highly recommend this for anyone.

Their vacuum game is not strong. My room was spacious but it needed more thorough vacuuming! The maid who brought my clean cups to replace the dirty ones left in my room by previous guests left the dirty cups sitting at my door for my entire stay! The front desk is very well trained and represents well, but that's where it ends. The breakfast cook was rude, surly, and didn't know how to beat eggs, literally! What he handed me was mostly an accident with eggs, not an omelet! It wasn't tasty either. It's a shame because the facility is really a lovely design in a great location! I hope they're able to improve the cleanliness of the rooms and respectful maid and restaurant staff!

The location of this place couldn’t be better. That’s it’s very best attribute. The room however was not as clean as it should have been and ultimately had bed bugs as I’ve discovered the bites on my legs. The fitness center may be the cleanest place in the hotel and was excellent but one of the elliptical machines does need servicing as it clunks when in use. If you have an EV car, note that there is no charging at this hotel. The food was good and nightly reception nice. I just have a hard time getting over the dirty carpet and bed bugs in the room.

This place is beautiful! They are so accommodating! My fiance and I were in the cities for a business trip (mind you we're 20) and I had booked a room at a neighboring hotel and on the website I had put my license in and they bookee me the room, but when we arrived they turned us away because we aren't 21. My fiance called a few hotels nearby and this hotel allows 18+ to reserve here. We were relieved. Very wonderful food and we haven't had the breakfast yet, but the pictures on here look amazing. We will definitely continue to book here whenever we are around for business!

What a wonderful experience! The staff was exceptional and the facilities more than met our expectations! I would also like to commend a server in the restaurant. Although not owned by the hotel it continued our relaxing experience. Azure, our server, went out of her way to please us and our guests! Even made minor modifications to our menu selections to make our experience great. Thank you Azure!

I’ve stayed at this hotel numerous times over my life starting as a kid. Things change, and I get that. But it seems like there have been so many cutbacks in recent years. They just started charging for parking. $10/day isn’t outrageous but also the rooms aren’t cheap to begin with. Seems extremely greedy! The evening reception used to be such a highlight. It used to be drink as much as you want, but now it’s 2 drinks per guest. Huge let down. Not that we want to get drunk, but the drinks are tiny! Breakfast was just mediocre. The pool area is just a free for all and seemed even dangerous at times. Lots of kids and no adults. I even witnessed a little girl (maybe 3) fall in the pool when nobody was watching. Thankfully someone quickly jumped in to help her or else I would have been getting in, in my clothes. I’d highly suggest more staff eyes on the pool area. Also, housekeeping is only offered every 4 days. That seems excessive. Maybe every other is a better idea? Seems like too many corners are being cut. The good- rooms were clean and smelled great. Beds were soft and the room was warm. Staff was friendly. It’s still a great place to stay, but it’s not the same as it used to be.

Wonderful hotel, especially the bar. The bartender Emily was absolutely brilliant! I was the only girl in a room full of men and she made me feel more comfortable than any other bar I have ever been to! I would 100% recommend if you're staying here or just nearby and looking for some good food.

This is is absolutely amazing! The staff were so friendly and if you needed something it was superfast. The rooms were great! Amazing breakfast and complimentary cocktails and snack. We will be going back there again. I highly recommend this place!

Affordable prices, extremely friendly staff, and excellent quality of lodgings! The hot breakfast is amazing, and the person making omelets seems genuinely happy to see people each morning! Plus the hotel is located conveniently near the airport, with a surprising lack of airplane noise! You can't get better than this for staying near MSP!

We checked in and when we got to our room, there was stains on the bed, as well as hair. When u have to pay over 200$ for a hotel u expect the rooms to be nice. They gave us a new room, but we were questioning if they actually clean the rooms or do they just remake the bed. We like to stay here when we come to Minneapolis because we had nice experiences before. Other than that the hotel staff were nice.

  • 5/5 Zach P. 1 year ago on Google
No complaints here. Staff was friendly and supportive of the shuttle service, which was a great feature for us. The pool was fun for the kids. I was able to get on equipment at the gym. The made-to-order breakfast was good. The wife enjoyed the complementary reception each night and the room service. If we come back to MSP, we'll not pick elsewhere.
