My teen and I are addicted to Vito's pizza. Best pizza in town. Best flavor

OUTSTANDING! We had a taste of this pizza in the Independence Center Mall and needless to say, thoroughly impressed! The staff, who I believed to be the owner, they were outstanding and incredibly helpful! Plenty of parking and easy to locate. A hidden gem has been located in Blue Springs and you won't be disappointed! I would suggest to order ahead of time! What a fortunate community to have such a wonderful place to eat! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

Best Pizza Place in Blue Springs. Love getting their pizza by the slice and having it thrown in their oven for that thin and crispy crust that many others fail to deliver. When I get a pie to go I heat up my pizza stone and crisp up the crust a little more. Something about the cardboard box makes the crust flimsy. Excellent Pizza!

Coworkers told me about this place, decided to try it on my lunch break. Tried to order online but the app wouldn’t take my location. Placed it through the site. When I went in and the lady upfront was stand offish. Opened the box and the pizza looks nothing like the pictures on the website, pizza was lukewarm, had no flavor and burnt on the bottom. Money wasted.

My personal favorite pizza shop in the KC Metro. It is what a pizzeria was. Double deck, front door, ovens. Skilled craftspeople making and stretching the dough. Topping the pie to just the right amount to not skimp but not so much that your slices won't hold a fold. If you like or have never had NY Style pizza? This place is your best chance!

First time here. We are originally from New York and can’t seem to find really good Italian food. Our search is over! We both got the lasagna special and it was great. The salad and side of sausage was awesome. Next trip we’re getting pizza!! Follow up on my next visit, June 2022: Ok, so stopped in to pick up a whole pizza to take home and WOW-just like we used to get in New York. Apparently I’m not the only person who knows this because a steady stream of customers—many known by the staff—kept pouring in. I can’t say enough great things about Vito’s Original Pizza. It’s just awesome!

For us it's a bit of a mixed bag. The pizza is out kids favorite. Pepperoni and cheese. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese. The Philly cheese was super satisfying. Warm bread. Also the pita that came with the Greek salad was so good. Chewy. The submarine was so so. The bread too thick, not enough lettuce or tomatoes. One side of the bread was totally dry. But all the ingredients were really good. So I'm maybe needing to adjust my order. Definitely go back again.

Love this place. Its authentic. There's no pork in the lasagna. The staff is very welcoming! Highly recommended this place!

This place has been there a long time and they serve excellent food. NY style pizza , great gyros, sandwiches and greek salad is legit . They treat employees and customers very well. Crew is always friendly and ready to help. Support this locally owned NY style pizza shop . A hidden treasure in Blue Springs. Highly recommended.

Been coming here for years! This is the only NY style pizza worth eating in the Kansas City area. My husband is a New York transplant to the Midwest of almost 30 years. He says it’s authentic NY style 🍕. Give them a try you won’t be disappointed.

Best pizza in all of town! No where else can you buy it by the slice and this is as close to authentic NY style slice of pizza you could get. They have combo daily specials! 2 slices and a drink for $9.99 that’s after tax, or 1 slice and a side salad. The calzones are also dang good, and so are their gyros!

Absolutely the BEST pizza in town!~ Really excellent, fresh salad bar cannot be beat! Would highly recommend to anyone, and always daily specials!

A small restaurant inside a mall like this one, you expect it to be pricey and mundane. Surprisingly enough, this one really isn't. The portions are great and the prices aren't awful. Been here multiple times and the pizza always tastes great. My only real complaint is the flavor selection could use some expansion.

Just got a calzone from this place. They followed my picky instructions exactly, the quality of the food was great, and the price reasonable. I don't find myself in the Kansas City area often, but this place will be my "go to" going forward when/if I am.

Great place to eat I been eating here for years always good. Try the Calzones and Stromboli. My wife loved the salad because they have a build you own salad.

Introduced my Midwest wife to some REAL pizza years ago and she craves it ever since…😂 We would go to Original all the time when they were at the mall in the Northland and now gladly make the trek out to Blue Springs to get our pizza fix! The food is always fresh and made to order; craving it now as I write this. The staff is always friendly and outgoing and treat you like family. The restaurant is always clean and smells wonderful. Worth the trip to Blue Springs!

Pizza was amazing as always! Definitely the best pizza around! The service in the store was prompt, friendly, and professional! They went above and beyond with each customer. The only reason for 4 stars is that we tried to call to order and the phone just rang, no one answered. In the store everyone was very friendly and they seemed well staffed. Not sure why there was an issue with the phone.

The service was great, very friendly people who get to you quickly. Was even being served and had another employee check to see if I had been served yet. The atmosphere was good, nothing outstanding here. It has the feel of your typical family owned business, honestly like seeing this over an overly fancy place. It really had a New York pizza place feel in my opinion. Since this was my first time, I wanted to try a few things. I got the Gyro and fries, a slice of sausage and a slice of beef. The gyro was ok in my mind, yes I'm Greek and have a high standard. The meat taste better than the majority of places in KC, and it comes from the spinner. I have only had one better supplier of this lamb and beef American Gyro, and it's not in KC. The sauce was pretty decent, I like it with a little more garlic. The pita bread is where I really think it knocked the gyro down. The bread was warmed on the flat grill dry. It really needs a brush of butter on both sides to pop the flavors. It's how Greeks, and most Gyro places serve their pita bread. The pizza certainly had that authentic New York style and taste. I've had pizza from New York and while it's been good, it was never my first choice for pizza style. In saying that, they still make a pretty dang good pizza here at Vito's. I liked the flavor of both, and since I couldn't eat it all I saved parts of both to try cold. The flavor holds up well cold also. Overall a pretty solid pizza place, you should give it a try. I'm sure if they impressed someone that's not a fan of that style pizza, others will love it.

Kind and patient staff who are happy to answer any questions you may have. They are also very efficient getting your order and getting the food out to you. Their food is delicious and inexpensive with large servings. Definitely family friendly and a welcoming environment. Will come back again for sure.

My 23 month old granddaughter wanted spaghetti for dinner so we tried Vito’s. She ate a nice portion and tried the pizza. The sauce was good, I would have preferred my pizza a little more done, same for my husband. I’m sure will be at a crispness that I like when I heat it up for lunch tomorrow. Lots of toppings. The cannoli was really good. We’ll try it again and order our pizza well done. There are a few tables if you want to eat in and they have drive thru. The pizza was ready when they said it would be.

Followed the recommendations on the website and got the whole cheese pie and cream cheese poppers. Both were fantastic. Great breading on the poppers and good balance of heat. Whole cheese pie did not disappoint. Cheese, sauce, and dough were flavorful. My wife and daughter love NY style cheese pizza and they were not disappointed. Picked up a Greek salad with gyro meat, ingredients were fresh and gyro meat was great. Highly recommend.

Pizza is reliably delicious. Great fresh and great warmed up, top three of pizza in a 100 mile radius. The gyro can be a bit more hit and miss. The amount of meat can vary greatly and be extremely dry. We got several the other night and nobody could finish one.

I was born and raised in New York and this place makes the best cheese slices I’ve had since moving out of NY years ago! Also ordered some French fries, also perfect in taste, as well as mozzarella sticks. 10/10 would recommend!

Best pizza around. I am from the East Coast and this is one of the few places I can get good pizza. The tram is always nice, friendly and I have never ever received the wrong order and I have been going here for more than 15 years. Keep up the great work guys.

This is our favorite pizza! Delicious and served by the slice so everyone can get exactly what they want. They add pineapple to my slices every time. My husband adores the Greek salad, and my kids love the fettuccine chicken Alfredo. We always get cheese toast, too. A great value and very tasty and convenient! We go a couple of times a month!

Privately owner pizza and limited menu sandwiches and Italian dishes. The prices are fair and the portions are large. They also have salad. There are a couple of daily specials. I enjoyed the original combination and the BBQ Brisket pizza.

I love this little local pizzas shop. It has little reminiscence of NY pizza shop with all the old vintage furniture. Service has always been great. Food is always consistently good and fresh ingredients. It's always a pleasure coming in to eat here now + then!

Great Place!! Pizzas are almost to big... But still amazing!! Italian sausage sandwich maybe the best in Missouri! Great service! All of the employees were in great moods and very welcoming. This place is a must visit if you are in the neighborhood.

Vito’s has some of the best pizza in all of the KC area! I’ve been eating there since I used to work in Blue Springs. I now drive out of my way to get there pizza, and its worth it!

I have been eating this pizza since I was a kid and let me tell you, as an adult, it is the best. Everything in this store is amazing and any chance I have, I get some. Best ingredients, cooked perfectly, do yourself a favor and try it.

The best pizza hands down in the region! Everyone says go to Minsky’s or some other pizza joint. Don’t waste your time on that “pizza” and drive right to Vito’s, this place is the best. Read the reviews and go grab a slice, you will not regret it! Thanks to everyone who keep that place running and making the best pies in the region!! Keep it up!!

This place is a hidden gem. I have lived here for years and I truly feel terrible that I haven’t been spending my money here. I’ve had the gyro and almost all the daily slices. Everything has been great every time. Thank you!

Love this place! Best pizza in blue springs in my opinion! Staff is a little low energy but nice and helpful. Tables and chairs are clean. Also love the salad and all the topping options. Pies are on the pricey side but that might be an inflation issue. Overall, go get you some of this delicious food!

Pizzas are large and yummy, I also got a side of the Onion Rings and they were fantastic. Would recommend.

Vito's has some great pizza. The staff is friendly. The prices are good. If I lived closer I would be eating here all the time.

My favorite place to eat in Blue Spring's is this place. As a kid growing up, any excuse to go to the Independence Center meant I'd get a slice of pizza. Everything is great. Always greeted with a smile. I've tried everything on the menu, the Greek Salad is the best and so are their cannolis. But if you want a simple cheese slice, they'll heat it up to perfection.

Always yummy! I had a big salad and lots of choices on the salad bar. The guys had pizza and the slices are large. Reheated them in the large pizza oven. Always good and quick. Friendly staff too!

Had Vito’s for dinner last night after my daughters open house. This was our first time visiting and Blue Springs has really let us down in the food department so we didn’t have high hopes. The staff was very pleasant and friendly and didn’t hesitate to explain what menu. We ended up ordering two pizza and drink specials, a side salad, and lasagna. As soon as we got home we scarfed it down! The lasagna was very tasty! The kiddos really enjoyed the pizza as did my husband. We will definitely be returning. I’m having my leftover lasagna for breakfast as I type this. *Ate food too quickly to get a good picture. 😌

Great food and wonderful, professional, knowledgeable, courteous staff. The pizza is hand made and is absolutely delicious! The owners are wonderful and cook with “amore”! Bravo!
