What an amazing fresh local market that isn’t just on Thursday’s despite the name. You can get cheese here, and fruits and veg at reasonable prices. Really a bargain. You don’t need to speak Turkish to get what you want. Most vendors speak English and even if they don’t, it’s fun to use gestures and communicate that way.

Regional vegetables, fruits and all kind of raw food. Big market is open on Thursday. And Sunday is the organic market day.

It's a good place for shopping and watching locals. They are so nice. You can try everything and get discount. There's a great variety of fruit and vegetables, cheese and olives.

We did self catering when we last visited Marmaris and this place was a god send. Lots of fresh fish, meat (if you're a meat eater) fruit and veg. Most people nice and friendly but exercise some caution if youre a person of colour.... A minority of venders are racist but have no problem taking your money.
