This shop main item is asinan. Asinan is where fruits and vegetables are preserved using salt. It served with sour spicy soup made of tamarin, brown sugar and mashed chillies. it is refreshing in hot day. I prefer bring it home and put it in refrigerator over night and serves it the next day. Asinan is usually served with noodle crackers and topped with fried peanuts. Some like to add more mashed chillies, but for me the soup is just right. The shop also provides Manisan. Manisan means fruits that preserved using sugar, usually applied for sour fruits but some tasteless or young fruits also included, such as young papaya, nutmeg meat, and turnip. The taste of manisan is usually sweet and a bit sour. But still it's tasty. We prefers asinan over manisan. One pack asinan is good for two persons. If I buy two kinds, vegetables and fruits, one pack is good for three persons. We cannot mixed fruits and vegetables, it has different kind of taste. But we enjoy both. We eat it for snack time or dessert after lunch. The shop also sells local snacks and Soto Mie. Soto Mie is a noodle soup that is originated from Bogor. It has noodle, chopped beef, minched cabbages and tomatoes, topped with a kind of spring roll which is filled with bihoon or vermicelli, minched celery and fried minched shallots. Aside from this spring roll, it is also topped with crackers, could be shrimp crackers or emping (crackers made of gnetum gnemon nuts, taste savory, sometime a bit bitter, but nice if you dipped it in soup). The noodle soup has clear beef broth. You can add chillies to make it tastier. During pandemic the shop installs a hand washing set just in front of it.

if i could describe the location, it was awfully traffic on a peak time, located on the side of fully active traditional market which means full with people, sideways stall and angkot.. but its worth with the taste , cost start 28k to 33k.. must try

A bit expensive 26k per portion,quite big portion for me, cant finisih it by myself. Love the taste, the freshness is good, so crunchy. One of the best around the city.

2nd time coming back to this place. They serve refreshing asinan sayur, one of the best in Bogor. Soto mie was fairly tasty too, the broth was redder than regular soto mie that i find in Jakarta. Price was reasonable, service was good. Definitely will come back for the 3rd time and more.

I hadn't been so hungry when visiting this resto last month so I chose the asinan, but today I was so hungry that I could eat a horse so I wanted to try the soto mie, Bogor's traditional noodle soup. The soup is a bit thicker and darker than common soto mie. When I tried the beef cubes, it tasted so tender and juicy. The soup was so savory and gave me a taste of rich flavor; something unusual for a bowl of noodle soup that cost me IDR 24K (including a bottle of mineral water). The sellers were so kind and willing to show you how things work. 👍

The classic Asinan Bogor. I remember I went here when I was a kid with my parents, and surprisingly pleasant the small restaurant still exist. The taste is worth the price (considered a bit pricey compared to other asinan) but definitely. The restaurant looks clean too.

Asinan is one of my favourite Sundaneese culinary made by some fruits with spicy souce.

The tastes of the fruit salad and veggy salad are up to my expectation even more. I didn't waste my precious time just to find this hidden tiny food vendor location. The price is very affordable. However I am not really a big fan of its soto-mie.
