    This place doesn’t deserve any stars. Ordered food at the drive through wasn’t exactly a large order! Asked, as always when I seem to go there to drive around to the front and wait. Almost 20 minutes later I’m still waiting, with other customers that have been and gone! Had to walk inside the restaurant and ask for my food which still wasn’t ready only to see the staff all stood around laughing and joking with each other and nobody bothered about actually trying to help or care about serving me! When I expressed my disappointment with their service no one cared! When I asked for the manager I was told I would have to come back tomorrow and speak to Chris? Laughable as nobody these days can just accept responsibility and apologise! Food cold and tastes like cardboard. Premises dirty!

    How hard is it to put cheese in the centre of a burger or salt on chips? For this Mcdonald's, it is impossible! Multipe times. Possibly the worst Mcdonald's in Bolton, Val the cleaner is great it is the cleanest front of house but the worst presented food, this time round they forgot the bacon 🥓 and had no milkshakes, service was a bit slow. propper naff

    Staff smoking on NHS premises as states on sign no smoking on the premises need to get your staff in order as reported it to nhsps Ordered double bacon double sausage and double egg with no cheese and ketchup But put cheese on it even though I ordered no cheese kind of concerning if u are allergic to cheese health and safety issues with staff no listing to orders properly

    Went to drive thru mcdondalds . was feeling very hungry. Ordered large fillet fish meal as i wanted the large fries. Got home. Open bag and fries were joke. Not even half filled. Less than medium box! And no salt in it. Raging! The audacity to charge extra and give less. See pics

    The worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Even when drive thru is really quiet, they always ask you to park up after order, sometimes taking 15+ minutes to bring the food. On the drive through queue you wait at the speaker for ages and then a car on opposite lane comes past and gets served immediately. They are the only McDonald’s around here but Uber ears and deliveroo have ruined them and they simply cannot cope with the demand

    Wow. This is without doubt the worst mcs you will ever visit. So, the last time I visited here, the orders were all wrong the food took 10 minutes to arrive and some of it was cold. This time the order took 17 minutes and everything was freezing cold. Ordered £30 worth of food and it was freezing. I told my daughter I was going to complain, she said do not complain!! they spit in reorders: that kids from her college worked there and they are allowed to run riot. I thought no way. I walked downstairs to complain and saw 10 kids acting like idiots in the kitchen. No adults at all. No supervision. Chaos. Would these kids (road men) spit in my food??? Yes they would!! I took my freezing cold food home and microwaved it. When I say cold - I mean the tomatoes were warmer than the burger. It also looked disgusting and barren. I will never , ever visit this McDonald’s again.

    Lovely service from Ashleigh (dining area) at blackburn road McDonald’s, goes above and beyond for customers. Can see she truly wants to give the best service possible. Really makes it worth while when you’ve had a bad week. Little things like this make the experience 10 times better. Thank you Ashleigh we hope you stay as lovely as you are 10/10 service which makes us want to keep coming back!

    I was shocked, to see how little care the restaurant took on our order, we went on the drive thru and they gave us our drinks and told us to wait for the burgers and the rest of the order, by the time they came to give us our meals, the drinks were almost flat and warm, the 2 big tasty hardly had any sauce at all, and the burgers were totally burned, absolutely disgusting. We could not complain to the restaurant as we took our meals home, and by that point we didn't want to come back. August 2022 is got worse since.....

    Nipped in Sunday dinnertime to get something quick, had a code for cheap big mac and fries, QR code didn't work, but the manager came to help. Sorted it out in 1 minute also explained that if the issue arises again, how to solve it. Excellent customer service. Food was great and hot 🔥. I have to eat out quite alot due to work and sometimes it's not up to what you would expect, this was definitely what i expect and more 👌. Thanks again for the help 👍🏻

    One of the worst job to have, staffs are over worked. Sanitary is bad, no one washes their hands as they claim they are meant to on the contract. People cough anyhow so it definitely goes on your food. The young girls that get promoted, act like they are better then you. Overall honestly bad, I missed so many days on work just because I felt like I needed to keep my composure and would have easily lost it instantly by the rudeness of some staff. Oh and may I remind YOU I was only ever trained on drinks (1 day training) and chips (1 day training) but was spoken down on each time I never knew how to do any other job around the restaurants? Yeah defo stay the f away. Another thing I once went thro the drive thro with my boyfriend and ordered two burgers, after realising one of the burger was missing half meat, I returned back to ask for another one, which to one blonde girl looked confused and wasn’t even interacting back with me as if I was speaking Spanish, if it wasn’t for one of my friend who worked there, I’m sure we would have had to wait 20mins just for a replacement. THIS PARTICULAR BUSINESS is run POORLY.

    This store is an utter joke every single time I order with Uber eats half my order is missing and I then have to drive down which defeats the object of delivery. When you go down they refuse to give you your missing items and you have to pay again for it you also find staff dancing round in the shop no wonder the orders are not right

    Upon entering the restaurant it became apparent that keeping the seating areas clean and tidy was not a priority. As you can see in the images there were overflowing bins and tables covered with rubbish (which I would not usually condone but given the state of the bin, where were they supposed to put it?). The wait for the food was long, at least 10 minutes. During this 10 minutes we heard staff arguing with each other, having a laugh and joke (which would be fine if everything was perfect, but this was clearly impacting the customer experience). It seemed as though the lady in the shirt (presumably manager) didn’t have much of a grip on what the staff were actually doing, she was emptying bins while they were messing around. In addition to this, the majority of employees with long hair were not wearing a hair net, clearly a breach of food safety regulations. When the food arrived the fries were just warm but edible, and one of the Big Mac buns were burnt. I returned this and they gave me a new one, although the other Big Mac was overburdened with sauce and lettuce, very overwhelming and not enjoyable. Safe to safe I will not be visiting this McDonald’s again anytime soon, much better ones in the area such as Radcliffe and Manchester Road.

    My experience was that, the order I put in came wrong...I'm allergic to mayo so I asked for a plain chicken sandwich meal,it wasn't it had mayo and the other rubbish you put on them, why ask if it doesn't get done right, also the fries are absolutely smothered in salt , I don't use salt so why don't they sort that out..I went back today an no milkshakes plus no tickets in machine so how do you know your ticket number...to be honest the service is poor, the staff are polite enough but the attitude isn't, I personally wouldn't recommend this to anyone...this will fall on deaf ears anyway.

    One of the worst McDonald franchises. Used them a few times this year and each time something has gone wrong. They don't know how to use app rewards, my order has always had something wrong with it and fries are never crisp. It seems to have gone downhill since the new owners took over

    Drive through staff need re training on customer service Been a few times now in the late evening. they are not accommodating they are rude and they don’t actually know how to speak to people also if they forget to take your order properly they want you to go round to do it again yourself instead of just getting the card machine from the first guy and they don’t even take exact cash to put through on their own mistake pathetic really for a worldwide company. Retrain the staff or get rid there are plenty of people looking for jobs that can do a better one then the ones there

    I’ve been here a few times and would rather not. The staff are rude. I came 2 days ago and placed an order for the wrap of the day, I was told to wait at the front as it wasn’t ready. 20 minutes go by I’m sat in my car waiting with my baby who’s asleep and every other car that has come after me has had their food. As I didn’t want to get out to go inside because of my baby fast asleep I went back through the drive through explained I’d been waiting 20 minutes etc. no apology or nothing. The staff looked down their nose at me and the manager spoke to me like rubbish. Like I said not once an apology or any acknowledgement of their mess up.

    It's McDonalds. At this one they were absolutely packed when I went, but the service was mercifully quick. However they didn't get the order right, I got a coffee instead of tea and few other errors. Too busy to be bothered going back though

    The upstairs and subsequently toilets where shut leaving only the disabled toilet available, this is the second time this has happened now so it must be standard practice, The food was good, ( took a little longer than usual ) but it was worth the wait, The tables hadn't been cleaned and it wasn't clean and tidy.

    It's an out the way McDonald's. Staff were few and far between. Cleanliness ok, toilets not so great. Food was what you would expect, order wasn't quite correct. Fries cold, burger drier than the Sahara with a ton of lettuce when I asked for none. The lady who brought the food over seemed nice enough though.

    Worst Mc Donald’s I’ve ever been to, 20 minutes for a double cheese burger when it’s 11pm quiet as hell. Didn’t realise they needed a degree to take a pickle off a burger. Went did “fast food” be come slow as hell? Got a refund, awful service.

    Ordered a big tasty on just eat and have been given something completely different, a big tasty with big mac sauce instead of tasty sauce, no lettuce, onion or tomato, and they added bacon which I didn't ask nor want, meal ruined, they should be taking stuff off the menu rather than knocking up a concoction that no one ordered.

    Shocking McDonald’s this place. I don’t know what’s happened here in recent months. But food takes ages and it’s cold when it finally arrives. I’ve spent 21mins sat in the drive thru with only 4 cars in front of me. Then was told to park and wait for my order which took another 23mins. 44 minutes in total to get something to eat and they wasn’t even busy. I looked in the kitchen and it was well over staffed. There must of been 20 teenagers working in that kitchen with 4 shift managers present. It’s a joke this place. Never going here again

    The Drive Thru is absolutely pointless. Every car (customer), including my own, was told to park and wait for their food. We waited for over 20 minutes to order, then another 10 minutes on the carpark. They're fiddling their service figures. By far the worst fast food service around at the moment.

    Had to wait 15 minutes after ordering at the drivethru. 2 minute drive home to find the fries were stone cold and no straws for the drinks. The standard at the location has been steadily getting worse over the last few months. Very disappointed. Shall be taking my business elsewhere.

    Disgusting the way they give you the food plus even if you order 1 cheeseburger they make you park up and wait for at least 15 minutes AT LEAST! They mess up your order 90%of the times and im not exaggerating. Food hygiene in this location is 1/10 im surprised they are not shut down yet.

    Terrible. I was standing in the long queue and nobody was taking orders, costumers could not make an order and could not pay. Person who should be taking orders was doing something else, its really bad. They should have someone taking orders , standing at the pay point all the time. Also the service is not nice, not enthusiastic, especially thin girls and they move so slowly and preparing food without gloves with dirty hands.

    24 hour drive thru and friendly staff. Two floors inside the restaurant so their is plenty of seating and a free car park also. Pay at kiosk speeds your order journey up loads so I recommend paying by card on the self service machine. Drive thru is hit and miss, sometimes leave you waiting at the front in a parked bay for quite some time and then sometimes your through quickly leaving the drive thru with your order.

    Collected via the drive thru a cappuccino, returned to work …. Disappointment an under statement , was like drinking warm milk , no coffee to be had and warm in temperature. I had to add my own instant coffee !!!! Had plenty coffees from McDonalds - this drive thru is terrible. Quality Rating is a zero for the Cappuccinos

    An awful experience, the restaurant was extremely untidy, rubbish everywhere and bins were overflowing. First red flag was the fact a lot of the female staff were not wearing hair nets, possibly resulting in physical contamination with food. Staff were stood around not doing much, and some even seemed to be arguing which wasn’t pleasant in the slightest. Our fries were okay but upon eating my Big Mac I found my bun was absolutely burnt and just wasn’t pleasant to eat at all, our other Big Mac was absolutely covered in sauce and lettuce, they proper went to town on it which was just way too much and revolting. We returned the burnt one and asked for a new one which they gave us a nice fresh one (probably the only positive experience we had throughout our visit) as a result we will not be returning.

    After ordering at the drive through we were asked to wait for pretty a standard order - chicken selects, big mac, fries. After a 15 minute wait we had to ask where our order was and when it was brought to the car it was cold. Just had a long drive and couldn't be bothered waiting for them to sort it out so went home to zap it all in the microwave. Not a happy customer

    When doing the early morning airport run for family members I fancied a refreshing cold drink at 4am to keep me awake. Early hours on a Saturday morning and although using the drive through the staff were so chirpy and had excellent customer service. I don't normally do reviews but thought the staff deserved recognition. Thanks for making me smile at 4 in the morning :)
