Pathetic place. Been fed off carrot cake so I complained it so the guy on the picture tried to say its fine and he won't refund or exchange. I asked for a manager and he came round asking me if I ever had a carrot cake before and it's supposed to be sour. Then I realised, my wife cake has been warmed in microwave and the plastic has melt. I then took pictures and tell them I will complain to the head office. Got all sort of verbal abuse from both men. He also threatened me that he will knock my teeth off. I offered him to come outside and try but he were mouthy. He called the security on us and security said for your safety please eave the place as they have a history of doing this. I have reported to the police and to the GM of that shopping centre. I won't recommend anyone to go there

The food quality has really dropped here. All the chicken seemed like it had been pre cooked and then heated up in a microwave. We ordered 5 different meals and the food came so quick. The presentation was terrible too. Won't be going here again. Food not fresh or flame grilled as it's meant to be. Very disappointed

Says it opens at 12, arrived at 12 - store was closed, no one arrived to open up until around 5 past. Didnt get to order until 12:20. Food used to be much better and more comparative to nandos however it isnt as good as it used to be, food quality has decreased whilst prices have increased. Staff are okay, some come across as impolite however others can be friendly Chicken is dry

I remember when you used to be able to get a chicken and rice box with a can for £5.50. Now you get a smaller box (which is tiny) and no can for £6.99. No longer worth it especially with so many great and now cheaper/ better value for money places around the town centre.

Me and my friends we eat here quite often and we think its a great environment to be at and the food is always delicious. The piri-piri salt makes everything so much better. We love Pepes and their sweet staff. ❤️

The taste get better then before. we order 3 spicy rice they give us 2 it’s ok it can happen but 2 rice are half packed it’s better to go to Preston or Manchester pepe‘s (No one give half rice it’s look like they steal rice) It’s not something it happened first time it happened every time when I order rice here. (It’s better to order by ubereats because then they care about reviews and service they give u full rice then)

Really disappointed at Pepe’s as I’ve always loved them but recently their customer service has been very poor. Every time I order through Uber eats it takes forever to come and yesterday I went for takeaway, specifically asked for breast piece and it trusted them and did not check till I got home. They gave me a leg piece with no gravy, chicken was so dry I had to use other condiments to make it edible. Really disappointed.

Flame Grilled! I really don't think so. What it actually seems like is pre-cooked Chicken, warmed in the microwave, coated lighlty with a sauce. How can i tell, because all the water seeped out from the chicken and amalgamated itslef with the sauce. The salad looked like it had just been put on there for the sake of adding some greenery. The prices have also gone up. Now i'm all for paying higher prices for good food, but not when i am given such poor quality and ill prepared food. Really sad for an establishment that is/was a go to place for Muslims looking for approved Halal eateries in Bolton Centre.

Gorgeous food. Dropped in for a quick bite and was not disappointed. Food was lovely. Much more flavoursome than Nandos and cheaper too. I would imagine its a busier experience later in the day and popular too. Staff were helpful and polite. Can't ask for more.

If you after quick delicious food without any thrills, this is the place. It is a bit steep in price in my opinion. The chips are cooked nicely and very crispy. I ordered the Paneer Salad but it wasn't anything special. The Chicken Nachos on the other hand was tasty! The place needs some tidying up, the bin was overflowing so couldn't even empty my tray. Reason for the rating is cleanliness.

It’s nice food I can’t lie. However it cost £28 for two meals. Me and my friend had a bad experience. They forgot some food from our order. So we called up and asked if they could send it. The man on the phone said call Uber Eats. So we did. However Uber eats said it wasn’t their fault as that’s what they where given. Therefore we call back up. The man on the phone was not for listening to us and was 0 help and said he’s busy there is nothing he can do. Like I said the food is nice but customer service is awful. Wouldn’t recommend 👎🏼

Really gone down hill, very slow service, no plates or cutlery any more, nobody cleaning. Heartbreaking to see. Seems to be focused purely on the deliveries as the dine in experience is shocking. Really dirty too. It needs to get the staff working properly or it won’t be there much longer as nobody will go back and it’ll be a real shame, it used to be better than Nando’s by far.

I have just been to pepe’s at Bolton Marketplace the service was terribly shocking. The staff behind counter was sat on the kitchen worktop and wasn’t even aware that i was there. They was vaping whilst even cooking and did not take pride in anything! i couldn’t even find a clean table to sit on, they was all disgraceful with food on floor too! Absolutely appalled!

love it here, the food is always fresh and served with a smile, there’s a variety of range on the menu and the staff are always quick and efficient.

If I had read some of the reviews before I probably wouldn't have gone. I had the Chicken Tasca, I really enjoyed it, cooked fresh, Naan type wrap was soft, the chicken moist and it came with salad. It was seasoned well too. My husband had the burger which he also enjoyed. We will be going again.

Ordered food around 1:30pm to take back up to work for my break, didn't ask if I wanted to eat in or take out so I had to specifically tell them I'm taking out. Takes them until the end of my break to take their sweet time to finish it only to have them place my order on a tray when I asked for take out along with not being provided a fork or even a straw for my drink. Its a shame their time keeping suck for food that tastes nice.

Went here with my son and we had a lite lunch. It was good value and we both ate everything. Chicken wings kids meal and wrap for mine. Really enjoyed it. Will come again.

Food was really good and reasonably priced. Plenty of seating. Friendly staff. Wheelchair accessible. Kid friendly. Good variety of food and different dietary requirements. Parking available in market place.

Always come here to eat as the food is great, however I was put off the last time I came here due to one of the staff constantly touching her hair. She didn’t have the uniform on so I’m guessing it was a senior manager, however she was handling customers food with her bare hands after touching her hair number of times. Her hair wasn’t tied up which I was also concerned about, because if the staff are able to why can’t she. One of the workers with uniform had her hair tied up with a cap to cover it too.

I had high expectations for this food joint but unfortunately it did not live up to its name. The staff were extremely rude and stubborn and the food was pretty cold. It truly is a shame, i will not be coming back again.

Had our tea here and was our first visit. We all had the chicken steak burgers. There were delicious. We will definitely be visiting again Thank you

We love the food here. The chicken, the wings, the large veg portion. Garlic bread is hit & miss to be honest. Obviously, Nandos round corner, so any peri peri chicken will have big shoes to fill, but Pepes does ok. Not bad at all.

The food is always great here, the chicken and rice is delicious. I've never complained about anything except today when I bought peri peri baked beans, they cost £1.69 and there was the equivalent of about 2 tea/tables spoons. The tub was just slightly bigger than the tubs with the sauce (smaller than a small KFC gravy tub) absolutely shocking. If you're going to charge that much make sure you supply a fair amount.
