Ran
across
Turkis
whilst
driving
up
Blackbrun
Road
and
noticed
this
striking
looking
restaurant
front,
and
figured
it
was
worth
a
shot
-
and
the
food
lives
up
to
the
look
of
the
place.
We
rolled
in,
looking
for
takeout,
and
we
were
greeted
by
Attiya
(hopefully
we
caught
the
name
correctly),
who
was
lovely
an
super
helpful.
We
asked
Attiya
for
some
recommendations,
and
she
asked
us
how
many
people
where
we
looking
to
get
food
for,
which
happened
to
be
4,
at
which
point
she
directed
us
to
the
Platter
for
4,
which
we
ordered
with
rice
(you
also
have
the
option
of
chips)
As
well
as
the
platter
we
ordered
a
Veg
mousaka,
and
Attiya
recommended
we
order
chips
since
we
already
had
rice.
Attiya
directed
us
to
a
table,
while
we
waited
for
our
order.
I've
Name
dropped
Attiya
several
times
here
as
a
testament
to
her
hospitality,
service
and
recommendations,
which
were
all
💯!
After
a
15min
wait
or
so,
we
left
with
two
bags,
both
of
which
were
heavy,
a
good
indication
of
quantity.
When
we
got
home
and
unwrapped
everything,
the
platter
was
in
two
large
square
trays,
which
had
rice,
lamb
chops,
kebabs.
Wings,
tandoori
chicken
and
shredded
chicken.
This
was
acommpanied
with
Naan
and
salad.
The
mousaka
was
In
a
narrower
rectangular
tray,
accompanied
by
chips
🍟
(the
chips
were
standout).
All
the
food
was
fantastic,
the
Veg
mousaka
was
tastey,
next
time
we
will
order
the
lamb
mousaka,
which
should
be
awesome
if
the
Veg
one
is
anything
to
go
by.
With
regards
to
the
platter,
again
everything
was
cooked
to
perfection
👌
Given
that
4
of
us
were
eating
(1
big
eater,
3
moderate/lite
eaters)
we
just
about
got
through
one
of
the
platter
trays!
The
next
day
we
tackled
the
2nd
tray,
where
we
still
had
a
bunch
of
left
over
rice.
If
you're
considering
visiting
Turkis,
highly
recommend
you
take
your
appetite,
as
there's
lot
of
enjoy!
